"We booked here because we wanted to stay in the santa clause village. It can fit 4 ppl but its just the 2 of us..very nice room and they helped us with the luggage from the reception to our room which we were really grateful. For the pricepoint, its worth it if you want to stay in the santa clause village to enjoy the quiet santa clause village at night and esp if you have 4 ppl sharing the room. There's 2 floors with 2 bathroom and a private sauna...But it does not come with a kitchen and the TV does not have wifi..we din manage to catch aurora but we enjoyed our stay so much..where we can go to santa clause village whenever we want ~"

"We chose the Aurora Room, the room was amazing and comfortable, especially the bed was very soft, the refrigerator was very rich and there was plenty of food to eat. If I had to say something wrong, it would be that the bathroom was a bit far from the toilet."

"Overall it was a nice hotel with good service. Breakfast spread was pretty decent compared to your typical European breakfast variety. The main courses that is included in the booking was also not bad - we ordered the Scallop Risotto and Beef Tenderloin. The bed however was very soft, not for those who prefer firm mattresses. It was a pity as we couldn’t witness any Aurora due to cloudy weather so essentially it was cloud gazing instead of sunrise / star gazing / aurora sighting. Not sure if the area was actually able to view auroras as it was still pretty bright at night…."

"Rooms are superb! Clean and good decoration. Breakfast are of high quality and provides a variety of choices. Staff are helpful. But parking costs 18 euros per night. Excellent location, just in the city centre. Shopping malls are 1 to 2 minutes' walk."

"The hotel is very convenient on traffic, with bus stop just opposite to the hotel. You can jump on the bus to Santa Claus Village and Airport at the bus stop. The room is very clean and the buffet breakfast is pretty good."

"The hotel is located on the mountain east of the city. The environment is very quiet. It overlooks the Kemi River. The hotel is well decorated and feels very petty. The hotel has a rooftop, which is suitable for driving the aurora. There is a ski resort next to it. Convenient. If you rent ski equipment, you still need to go down to the mountain. The hotel’s breakfast is exquisite. I also had reindeer liver sauce. The hotel’s restaurant requires advance reservations and the dishes are very good. The disadvantage of the hotel is that the location is relatively remote, it is not convenient if it is not for self-driving. Extra bed and breakfast for children will be charged 35 Euros. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes."

"I didn't see any hotel management the whole time. It's in an ordinary residential building, similar to a homestay. You will receive check-in instructions one day in advance, check in with a password, then find the room yourself, enter the password (there is a box in the upper right corner of the room door) and get the key. When you leave, just put the key on the door."

"Centrally located, walking distance to many restaurants. Johi at front desk was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast spread could have been better. Only downside is the sound proofing from level above wasn’t great. Could hear kids running around till late night. Overall would recommend this hotel, plus they have free parking for guest unlike other hotels that would charge guest."

兔兔兔愛睡覺The environment is very good, but it is a bit far from the city center and you have to take a taxi to get there. There is a supermarket for supplies in about 20 minutes' walk. The chalet is close to the ski slopes, perfect for those who want to ski for hours with ease. The restaurant provides a simple breakfast, which is the same every day, so the small kitchen in the wooden house is very important. You can cook some simple meals by yourself with basic utensils😙 Finally, we also successfully chased the Northern Lights by the lake

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Santa Claus Holiday Village in Rovaniemi, and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a festive atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of Christmas.
The accommodation was cozy, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Our cabin was spacious, featuring a private sauna—a perfect way to unwind after a chilly day outside. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities while still maintaining a charming, rustic feel.
The location is unbeatable, situated right in the Santa Claus Village. It was incredibly convenient to visit Santa’s office, cross the Arctic Circle, and enjoy the various winter activities like husky sledding and reindeer rides. Plus, the breathtaking snowy landscapes made for unforgettable moments.
The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of hot and cold dishes, including traditional Finnish options. The on-site restaurants also provided delicious meals, with a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring guests had the best experience possible. Whether it was arranging activities or providing recommendations, their service was top-notch.

MMok TMSantasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter.
The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe
Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress.
Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread.
Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.

GGuest UserThe Glass Igloo is small and not much space to open the luggage, however they have a very nice hot water shower which has around max. 25mins which you will be able to relax from whole day travel ☺️ . The location is not near airport, takes almost 40mins. shuttle bus from Santa Clause village to hotel. Though this location is really good for the chance of seeing Northern Lights ! We did ! Unluckily their ice bar and ice restaurant both under renovation and we don’t have chance to experience. That’s the downside of it.

GGuest UserA lovely cosy place to stay, however the location really is in the sticks where transport is limited to around 3 buses to or from the city with the last bus arriving at 7pm. But the room was great and extremely warm in the minus 15 degrees temperature.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre, it's a basic hotel which is clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is more continental with 3 hot item available.
The only downside to the hotel is their is no safe in the rooms so had to carry all personal items laptop, money, passport etc around with me all the time.
The hotel did offer to put item in their own safe but decided against it.
It didn't put me off staying here again and would return.

The office that was doing various activities was very close and helpful.
The lobby is large and has kids space and microwave oven, and you can also warm and eat frozen foods.
The breakfast was also very delicious.

AAToiI recently had the privilege of staying at Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi, Finland, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of my Scandinavian journey. From the moment I arrived in this snowy wonderland, with daily temperatures around -7°C, to my cozy cabin room, everything about Apukka was simply amazing.
Having to see the mesmerizing Northern Lights from my bed was a dream come true. The comfortable bed, warm water, and the delicious food served at the restaurant made each moment special.
The view of the frozen lake was nothing short of magical; it felt like stepping into an AI painting turned real. Even in the cold, I had one of the best swing rides of my life with the view of the lake.
As someone from warm and sunny Singapore, this escape to the cold was a unique and unforgettable experience. The reception team at Apukka was top-notch, and they even had a room ready for me when I arrived slightly earlier than check-in time, which was a great relief after my long journey from Copenhagen.
But it wasn't just the accommodations and the views that made my stay exceptional. I also had the pleasure of experiencing a thrilling husky ride and learning about how these incredible dogs are trained from puppies to their role as working animals. The passion and knowledge of the guides who led this adventure were truly remarkable.
The 'Meet the Reindeer' session was a delightful educational experience. I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip.
Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life.
