Hotel berhampiran Beach Promenade, Rovinj

Our quaint apartment was impeccably clean and so well appointed. The fresh fruit, cereal, milk, cream and pasta ingredients were a five star touch. We created a delicious dinner and sipped on hot tea every morning with the windows open looking at the sea. What a view of the sea. Dennis our bell man escorted us to our unit from the taxi stand with ease and friendly Croatian style. The Angelo D'Oro staff at the hotel were also incredible and they manage this apartment with precision. The hotel is quite nice too. Our Rovinj experience was top notch thanks to Angelo D'Oro. Highly recommend Trevisol unit #3 right by an amazing all day chill hip cafe. Thanks again Dennis!!

I would give this a ”very good” for the property as it was nice and nicer than I expected. The room was equipped with a kitchenette and a really nice big balcony. I was there out of season so couldn't fully appreciate the balcony, but it was a nice outdoor space. What wasn't so good was the check-in process. I booked through **********, and on none of the communications was the name of the rental people (I forget their name now but it began with an A). I duly communicated or tried to communicate through ********** as requested. I explained that I was driving from Zagreb and would let them know when I landed so they knew when to expect me. At that point they made me aware that I would need to go to the office of the rental agency and then be taken to the property. It was dark by the time I arrived and the gateway was right off a main road onto a one way street, having been in the country 4 hours on my own in a hire car, this was not helpful. They didn't respond to the messages through ********** but had at no point given me their direct details which would have helped greatly. Eventually I had to phone a Croation phone number from my English phone (don't know what that's cost me) to be quite rudely asked ”where you are you then ? Did you not follow the instructions”. Which, yes I had, I just didn't know if I was in the right place or not. The chap was out delivering another couple to thir property and he told me to wait and he would come back for me. Which he duly did. I left the car at their office that first night as the parking was unclear. However the next day I was able to park near the property, so that was good. They would have come and got me again on checkout day if my car was at theirs. This did negatively impact my initial first impressions - when I said that if I had been given a bit more info it would have been fine and the chap said I should have googled it ?? But googled what ? The process works, but it would be so much better if everyone knew what was happening. I was then given their watsapp number, which is their phone number, but again, you only know that if you know ! THat made it much easier and I was able to message as I checked out. So, the property was nice, its a great location. I don't want to sound negative, but things need to be clearer - especially when using third party platforms.

Lovely little hotel with lift and nice pool area, situated around 15 minutes walk from the seafront and 5 minutes from a handy supermarket. Clean, comfortable rooms with minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities (kettle plugs in behind the TV on the wall which we found unusual) and safe. WiFi works well in the room, bit hit and miss on the balcony. Hairdryer in bathroom with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers provided. Rainfall shower and lovely big bath - glass partition between bedroom and bathroom was a feature, though luckily with curtain provided for privacy. Good choice at breakfast with new items added daily although hot choices, scrambled/fried/boiled eggs, omelette (delicious) etc stayed the same. However, the staff are the greatest asset including Ana on reception who helped us no end, as did Luka. Ivana also deserves a mention along with the chambermaids who did a great job. Thanks to all, we really enjoyed our stay.

I can honestly say that this hotel is the best hotel that we have ever stayed at. I don't say this because it was the best room (we had a standard room, not a suite) but the standard of cleanliness and most importantly, the quality of the staff was utterly exemplary. We have stayed at hotels throughout Europe, the east coast of the US and also Canada but we have never had such consistency in terms of professionalism, patience and flexibility. ALL staff could not have been any friendlier. They were all simply outstanding. Whoever is responsibly for training Maistra staff must be recognised as they are clearly doing a wonderful job. The breakfast options were extensive and excellent, there was literally nothing else you could wish for in terms of breakfast options. The reception staff were helpful, friendly and supportive, helping us in a number of different instances and we loved the cleaning team, responsible for room cleaning and mini bar refreshing - they were hilarious and so often overlooked - a wonderful addition to our stay. But we would like to celebrate two members of staff in particular in the restaurant. Fillip was brilliant! He was friendly, great at making us all feel so welcome and just a delight to be around. However, at the front of house in the restaurant was Dzentia and she was totally exceptional and I sincerely hope that this review will reach her ears. She was welcoming, professional and exceptional with her service. Our daughter was recently diagnosed with coeliac disease and therefore requires a gluten free diet. Dzentia frequently went above and beyond to support her. She is truly and outstanding member of the team and one which should be celebrated for her work and character - she is exceptional! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay utterly incredible. We loved each and every day and would love to return one day - the Eden Hotel is a magical place where one can unwind from the stresses of life and enjoy the facilities on offer. Every staff member is excellent and should be recognised for their efforts - they make the hotel what it is. It is not the building and facilities that makes a great holiday, it is the service, the professionalism, the welcome desk and the support that you receive throughout - always done with a smile and nothing is too much effort. Eden Hotel is excellent because the team make it so. Simply put - thank you!

Beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly, and couldn't do enough. The rooms were very spacious and exactly as the professional photos shows. The attention to detail was excellent and the rooms were cleaned twice daily. A dinner bed and breakfast option would entice guests to stay in the evening. Although the walk into rovinj is a must. Plenty of restaurants- such a vibrant place.

Het is een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op zee. De kamers en badkamer zijn ruim met een zitje. Bedden liggen goed. Het was heel schoon en rustig. Geen lawaai en harde muziek of luidruchtig publiek. Heerlijk. Als je van een DJ houdt kan je naar een van de andere hotels lopen. Deze staan op het zelfde terrein. Wij hadden ontbijt en diner. Dat was uitgebreid veel keus en echt lekker. Wij gaan zeker terug naar dit hotel.

We are staying here at the moment having stayed at a great hotel the other side of porec multiple times (Park Resort) and the hotel in itself is not shabby or run down and has decent facilities, but is not really for people with young families. We were given a room which looks like it has come straight from the 80’s with us huge solid wood cupboards and furniture. There could be so much more space if they simply removed this and put some cheap modern furniture in like the ones in the pictures! Needless to say our room looks nothing like the pictures! You also have to pay for a fridge in this hotel too which is another €50 and is not exactly the coldest or most powerful. I asked at reception having known this from other reviews and it’s been added to my bill even though when I got there I think there was already a fridge in there and one next door where my son and mother in law are staying- they haven’t added a fridge but theirs barely works! When I said the fridge was already in there so why should I have to pay I was told that they managed to put it in the room within the minute I walked from reception to room- yeah I doubt that! Sofa bed after spending 20 min removing 10 tonne 1980 cushions and throws and dodging the huge wooden furniture is very uncomfortable. Nowhere to really store suitcases or put buggy The hotel is quite possibly the most inaccessible hotel I have ever stayed in: - there are steps EVERYWHERE and 3 tiny lifts that only go from certain level. - steps by the pool, steps to get to the lift, steps to the restaurant, steps to the bar, steps to all the other bathing and pool areasj - most of the steps are just too wide that you can’t even gradually ease the buggy up so you ok literally have to carry it all the time! - all pool areas have small amount of sun beds which by 11am are all taken and before midday the here are literally no loungers AT ALL - yet most of them are empty for hours at a time if not the whole day - there is only one route down to the sea front and to all the different pools and it’s like a rabbit warren with no simple gates or openings to allow you to move freely between the different spaces. - for example if no sun loungers and want to sit on hammocks or grass, you have to walk all the way round because there are glass divides all around except a single entrance, and you guessed it- more steps!ii There was a stuff around this hotel but not loads and everything is at least a few minute walk. The ‘mini shop’ is pathetic and has no food or drinks really and just full of ‘tat’ and it opens at random times- best off walking a bit to a half decent market. There are a few nice little pebble coves but the sea was horrible with some dirty looking film on it or something right where you would expect to take the kids in normally. Having visited another plava Laguna I wouldn’t stay here again as most of the staff are pretty miserable too compared to the normal people we have come across in previous visits to

My husband and I booked the hotel as a last minute cheap deal and on first impressions we were impressed. The hotel is in a nice setting with well tended gardens and a short walk to the seafront promenade, great if you want to lie around the pool all week but we found it too cut off. There are no local buses in the area at all and the small tourist train was 1km away and had very restricted times being early season. A taxi into porec was £20 each way. Hotel food was typical for a large tourist hotel and we always found something to eat. The bedrooms however are extremely small and very basic no storage cupboards or drawers for anything at all.the bathrooms are so small the shower door wouldn't open fully as banged into the toilet and the bathroom door couldn't open fully due to the towel rail behind it. You get bigger bathrooms on cruise ships ! The main down side was the constant stream of tourist coaches which used the hotel on a daily basis ( 8 full coaches on one particular day )which left the hotel more like a travel lodge motel and not like a relaxing away from it all holiday break. In all an OK hotel for the money we paid but not somewhere we would return to unless in a coach party.
