Whilst the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pub clean and tidy the guest rooms let them down. Stains, hairs and mould on the mattress, lots of dust on the bed legs, cobwebs all round the window, lip marks on the drinking glasses and water stain on the wall at ceiling height from a previous roof leak. Tap in the bathroom basin loose, rust around the grab rail in the shower.

It has been decades since I was last in Welton where I grew up. Great to see that the essential character of the Green Dragon has been retained. Lovely village location which is also well placed for A63/M62 and Humber Bridge. Great food and peaceful overnight stay in a relaxing environment.

Food and staff first class as usual on all 3 nights. Room basic but clean.However the infrastructure needs some serious TLC. Paint would be a great idea. Windows - where to start ? Look as if they were installed when Dick Turpin was arrested (1738). Building fabric falling apart. Wake up Marstons ! You are ruining a great venue through penny pinching.

Comfortable place, nice rooms, amazingly helpful as someone went in car to next village to get some oat milk we had asked if they had. We were so surprised at their service. Extremely nice village with pool outside church opposite pub. Nice place to walk around.

A delightful and charming pub with hearty, country style meals and such a cosy and welcoming atmosphere! We enjoyed the rustic decor and the service from the team was fantastic! I would highly recommend their Pie & Pint deal on a Wednesday, great value and a real great experience, especially with a pint of cask ale!

Visited with the kids and everyone loved it. The kids’ menu had great options and decent healthy accompaniments and the adult meals were superb. I had the hunters chicken, with a soft drink which was rich and comforting. Perfect for a family outing

My wife and I stayed for several nights to explore the local countryside. The team were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was really good and the team were friendly and full of energy in the morning. We stopped for Sunday lunch this was really good also. Everything felt clean tody and well presented. Loved the ale offering and the whole place felt cosy

Wonderful location and cosy atmosphere, especially with the rainy weather outside. We arrived slightly late for our booking, however we were still seated punctually by a lovely girl called Emily. Sunday roasts were delicious and service was spot on. Thank you for providing a wonderful meal out for my family and I.

Excellent service, booking system, advertising with discounts and the staff were amazing. One of our group had an allergy to nuts/sesame seed oil and they were so clued up and knowledgeable on what was available and what could be offered, alongside with cleaning and preparation for each eventuality The food was really good and no one had any issues or complaints but for us the staff were the best part Will definitely be back soon
