We checked into Lumbini Palace Resort on November 24, 2023, for a two-night stay. Our experience was flawless; there were no service issues, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, upon checking out, I realized I had carelessly left behind a very important item in the room. The day after our departure, I contacted the hotel to inquire about my belongings. They assured me they had found them and would promptly send them back to me. Initially relieved, I awaited their response eagerly. However, as days passed, I received no updates despite my repeated requests for them to send my belongings via courier, with me covering the costs. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to respond to my requests, leaving me to make weekly follow-up calls. After more than three months of waiting, I was informed that my belongings had been lost. The excuses provided, such as changes in management or staff not being on duty, seemed unprofessional and lacked accountability. Losing items of great religious significance has been distressing, and the lack of genuine concern from the hotel only exacerbated the situation. Additionally, the absence of any communication from the new manager further highlighted the hotel's disregard for customer care. As someone involved in the travel industry, I had considered recommending Lumbini Palace Resort to my clients. However, based on my experience, I have decided against it. It's clear that the resort's staff need better training and a deeper understanding of their responsibilities in the hospitality industry. This incident serves as a reminder that exemplary customer service is essential for sustaining success in this field...

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for my stay.The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, combining modern amenities with a cozy atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of high quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary water, fresh fruit, and a well-stocked minibar.The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the spa offered a range of luxurious treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated. The pool area was a highlight, providing a serene oasis with comfortable loungers and attentive poolside service.Dining at the hotel was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide selection of options to suit every palate.Location-wise, the hotel was ideally situated, providing easy access to local attractions and public transport. The concierge team was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining.Overall, [Hotel Name] exceeded all my expectations. Stayed in Room 107 for 2 nights. I arrived early in the evening thanks to difficulties crossing the Indian Nepal border. No major problems checking in except some confusion over if I had already paid. The hotel is in a very good condition with marble and tiles everywhere. My room was on the first floor. There didn't appear to be a lift, but the staircase was pretty shallow anyway. Upon entry to the room, there was a strong smell of Naphthalene. Everything looked clean, although I picked up dust while walking barefoot and ended up using the slippers provided. The bathroom had an open shower, toilet and basin. The room was large enough without everything getting in the way. Hot water was available via a hot water boiler. The bathroom was clean and hygienist enough, although the silicone sealant needed to be redone. The room had a double and a single bed. The blanket and sheets were clean, although there was a slight damp smell. The mattress was medium firm and with the thick blankets, it was quite comfortable sleeping even in the cooler Feb/March weather. Breakfast was part of the package and had to be ordered with a call to the in-house restaurant and brought to the room. Location wise, the hotel is about 15 minutes to the airport by car. The main bus stand is 2 minutes walk away. The immediate area is quiet. The nearest restaurant is about 5 minutes walk, or use the in-house restaurant. The nearest busy area is probably Buddha Chowk, about 1 to 2 km away. That's also where you can get a local bus to Lumbini Historic Park. Overall, I had a good stay. The front office staff are fantastic. Really polite and courteous. The hotel is in good condition, bar some of the small points already mentioned.

Rumbini Buddha garden resort is not only a hotel but also a beautiful garden with lotus pond , surrounded by lawns and forests, I really appreciate staff members of the hotel, they are so kind and sincere, helping me a lot in many ways, ready to offer what you need instantly. The room is clean, spacious and good light with morden facilities like Ac, hot shower, fast WiFi. It has two baconies where you can watch views and relax and dry your clothes. They are very considerate when cleaning rooms, even helped to fold my messy clothes and shoes, and to put back the clothes you dried in the bacony into the room, keeping everything tidy and nice. The food was very delicious too, I asked them to send to my room, they are very patient, packed the food carefully and delivered with the whole set of delicate dishes, glasses, spoon, knife and so on. In the morning you can hear the birds singing and the staff are diligently doing gardening, cleaning, washing. They even bow down to wipe the bricks of the road leading to room buildings in the garden which touches and impresses me. I am really grateful to all those who have served and helped me with warm hospitality and patience. I highly recommend Rumbini Buddha garden. It's a wonderful choice when you you are in Lumbini.

Five Elements was my highlight in Lumbini. My room was spacious and the AC was excellent and rescued my stay in hot Lumbini, which is definitely worth a visit but during the dry season you should definitely stay at a clean, modern hotel, such as Five Elements, that is well equipped with comfy big beds with exquisite cotton duvets and soft dreamlike pillows and covers. The bathroom has got everything you need and on top a water jet of high pressure - something I miss so often in hotels! The location is perfect because it is a bit back from the main road. My sleep was brilliant and I also enjoyed the quality of my food served by friendly helpful staff. It isn’t far from the beautiful Maya Devi Temple, which I liked best. Actually, this hotel isn’t far from any attraction in Lumbini. All in all, I can only recommend staying there, booking was easy, without complications of any kind. I can say that Five Elements made my stay😊 Thank you 🙏 very much everybody.

#好評#對位置，鄰近活動，防治蚊蟲措施，隔音，安全性滿意；#負評#對房間大小失望；我和家人在蓝吡尼的Peaceland hotel住了六天，这里的服务非常好，满足我们所有的需要。 位置：在摩耶夫人庙旁边，Reception帮我们叫tuktuk嘟嘟车，就是我们国内的大三轮车，1000尼币一天，可以把各国寺庙全部跑一圈。时间够的话，建议再去体验坐船，一个人往返100尼币。 餐食：旅馆内的restaurant环境不错，但是没有中餐，需要提醒no spicy，否则几乎什么菜都会辣，尼泊尔的调料里都会有辣的味道。附近有很多餐厅，孩子喜欢吃中国餐馆的番茄炒蛋。 房间：我们定的标间，虽然小，但很干净，开始的房间临街太吵，帮我们换了安静的房间就好了，设施有点旧，电视有点小，但是可以联网看YouTube，中文节目都能看到。 服务：或许是受了墙上的一句好话，静思语的影响，做好事不能少我一人，做坏事不能多我一人。这里的服务员特别好，他们会竭尽全力满足顾客的需要。 值得推荐的一家旅馆，会再来。

We stayed at BMG Hotel for 2 nights and booked through a travel agency for our Lumbini trip. It was disappointing as we didn't have a good experience from the very start. When we checked in, we were very tired as our flight was delayed- we were asked to wait at the lobby because we're supposed to get welcome drinks which came later and its absurd that we had to wait for it. It was disappointing to see our room as it had strong smell of mold and I had specifically informed the travel agency that I am allergic to mold. The furniture were really old and dusty. I requested the front desk staff to switch but he wasn't too cooperative. As we were late for our tour, we had to be on our way right away but we were able to switch to another room which looked better at first but then we found out a number of issues in the other room: 1) The condition of the mattress was very poor, it was all torn and there were threads hanging from it, we also saw a lot of bed bug poo on the mattress and bed sheet (as you can see on the photos). Looks like they had beg bugs before and they never cared to change the mattresses which is absolutely disgusting! 2) The lamps looked like they're from an old era- needs changing! 3) The air conditioner was falling apart, looked like it's going to fall out any moment 4) TV was not working and we had to call the maintenance to fix it 5) My mom wanted to drink hot water but the water kettle didn't work as the plugs were not working. 6) The main door doesn't close and we had to use the latch to lock it 7) The bathroom door doesn't close properly 8) Water keeps dripping from the shower tap in the bathroom It looks like this whole place needs maintenance. We spent so much money to stay here but it's not up to the standards of a KGH hotel and it is not worth it. The food in the restaurant was good and all the kitchen staff were very nice and friendly and I would like to thank them for their wonderful service. This is the only thing good about this resort. I will not be staying at this resort again and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
