Hotel berhampiran Brussels Midi Railway Station, Saint-Gilles

Durch die Renovierung des Hotels sind die Zimmer schön und gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit ist gegeben und die Betten sind bequem. Ein Ventilator steht auf dem Zimmer, dieser kühlt angenehm das Zimmer runter. Die Auswahl des Frühstücks ist Groß. JEDOCH GIBT ES EIN GROSSES PROBLEM, die Lage. Absolut schlimm. Auch wenn es nur fünf Minuten zum Zentrum sind, haben wir uns dazu entschieden mit Uber zu fahren. Da die Menschen im Viertel sehr aggressiv sind und nicht zögern würden, jemanden zu beklauen oder auch zu bedrohen.

Can't fault cleanliness and location but apart from the entrance hall the hotel is tired and needs upgrading. I have been to the hotel many times before and recommended it to friends but this time it was very disappointing and I wont go there again. They seem to have *****ped all facilites and service to the minimum and definitely don't seem to care about the customer experience. On arrival the staff at reception were exceptionally slow and unwelcoming with long queues to check in. The staff were neither helpful nor friendly and at times abrupt and rude. They were uninterested in answering any queries and failed to rectify faults throughout our stay. Having booked 5 rooms there were errors and mistakes with rooms offered against had been booked. I had booked similar rooms at the same time and same rate but the quality and size of the rooms we were given was vastly different. They argued that some of the rooms did not have breakfast included despite having booked for all 5 and had confirmation of booking. They failed to explain we needed tickets for breakfast and failed to give them to us at check in. The rooms were clean but needed updating and redecorating. There were no mini bars or tea/coffee making facilities in the room - but the cabinets had been left taking up space but empty and empty with out shelves so had not been repurposed , taking up space in very small rooms. I had about 4 inches clearance between this cabinet and the bed, making moving around the room awkward. The toiletries provided were sub-standard, a small sachet to cover both body and hair wash which was insufficient for either. The towels were ragged at the edges and needed replacing, further evidence that the hotel has cut back on facilites and quality. Catering was sub standard. There was no way to get a cup of tea or coffee in the morning without going to the breakfast room - you could not get tea or coffee in the room before going down to breakfast - and if you only wanted a cup of tea or coffee in the morning you had to pay £12 for the breakfast to access tea and coffee. There was no drinking water available in the room. The breakfast was poor quality with a limited range and the cooked food was limited and cold. What a shame that this ideally located hotel has gone downhill - I would not recommend it to anyone until they get their act together and employ customer friendly, helpful and competent reception staff.

Etant en famille avec des enfants en bas âge nous souhaitons loger en appart hotel pour notre sejour en Belgique. Il y a 2 citadines à Bruxelles. J’avais choisi celui ci car il était indiqué etre sur les « champs Elysees » bruxellois. Autant vous dire qu’à ce niveau j’ai été déçue : a part une grande artere avec plein de voitures le quartier ne m’a pas fait forte impression (j’ai préféré le quartier des autres citadines). Neanmoins ces citadines sont trés proches d’une station de métro et d’une supérette qui a des tarifs « raisonnables » (un peu moins hors de prix qu’ailleurs). Ce sont deux gros avantages. L’immeuble est trés bien, et les appartements spacieux. Nous avions une grande chambre, salon avec canapé lit, 2 teles, wc separes de la salle de bains…. La laverie nous a bien servi ( un peu cher mais bon, dans les prix habituels). Personnel sympathique… Globalement en dehors d’un quartier qui m’a déçue, je ne regrette pas mon choix car nous avons passé un trés bon séjour

The service at this hotel was great. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel does not provide breakfast as yet as they have only opened recently, but the helpful staff are happy to point out nearby breakfast places. The rooms were comfortable with all the facilities.

Very a fantastic hotel in the centre of Brussels. It is near to many attractions and also near to the metro. Just take a day pass and roam around the city with peace of mind. Very good breakfast, though not a wide variety, but it's good enough. There were few disappointments. Firstly, The rooms were small but I think it is because of the small properties in any central part of any European city with a rich history. Secondly, at the reception, they told us the breakfast is from 6:30 to 11 AM but never mentioned it is only on weekends. On a fine Monday, we got up at 10 and went to breakfast at 10:30 AM but nothing was available. I was really horrified and I wanted not to come back. But as I raised concerns, one lady officer at the reception - INES handled it very well and pulled the strings. Mr. Abel, the chef come to us, talked to us, and having understood the concern, he baked us fresh croissants and pastries! Man, he is an amazing chef. Sir Abel got them fresh and was mind-blogging. This wiped out all my frustration and made me think I should come back again!

Had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The cocktails at the bar made by Benjamin and Sarah were amazing. In regards to the food, the cardo burger, ”the fish” plate and the chocolate cake dessert were all delicious. It's always a big plus to have a bar with friendly staff and good drinks. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location for seeing historical locations, being near great eateries, and experiencing local events. Service was timely and professional. Food was fresh and tasteful

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)

ideally situated at transition N_S highway and ring without their noise; excellent bed in quiet room; clean and comfortable toilet, wash basin and shower; very good breakfast with ample choice (3 cereals, nuts and raisins, pastry, bread and jam, eggs, fruit, yogurt, several coffees etc); very decent pizza and spaghetti, snacks and drinks 24/7 in lobby; cheap and safe parking; nice and very good belgian food restaurant in front of hotel; several pubs and restaurant at walking distance.
