Stayed here last night ,birthday trip ,lovely owners ,can’t do enough for you ,lovely little touches like Devon Tea,cafetière and fresh coffee in the room ,amazing breakfast included in the room fee and a free glass of Prosecco,so close to the seafront and ships also .Will be back .

Really pleased with our room although alot of stairs very comfortable & compact, nice little touches fresh milk etc Breakfast a good selection to choose from, evening menu sounded fabulous would definitely try on our next visit Staff extremely friendly & super helpful Added bonus of parking WHATS not to like

The entrance is quite dark and feels old fashioned, the bistro was closed which was quite a nuisance because there aren’t very many restaurants in Dartmouth. The room was clean, we had a nice breakfast, the staff were attentive, but there wasn’t much of an atmosphere.

An amazing hotel from the moment we arrived. Brought our two dogs and they were made to feel welcome straight away. We got a room upgrade aswel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was delicious . We stayed in the blue room which I would thoroughly recommend.

Second time staying at Brown’s Hotel in Dartmouth. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We have stayed elsewhere but did not compare with Brown’s. Good service, good food and spotlessly clean. Excellent in every way Highly recommended. Very well situated.

Had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel. Very conveniently located near the front. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a nice chilled vibe and very friendly owners and staff. Decent sized rooms and well equipped. Large powerful shower and good stock of tea and coffee. The cooked to order breakfast was lovely and the benefit of a parking voucher was very convenient. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and hope to do so.

Great location near the centre of Dartmouth. Nice bedroom and good food for breakfast and dinner. Welcoming and friendly hosts. A well-stocked bar with a god choice of cocktails, beers and wines. We had a room facing the street, but there is little traffic and the window was double glazed - so we were not disturbed.

We can not complement the team at Browns enough, after a mix up with our pre booked accommodation Browns came to our rescue with fabulous dog friendly accommodation. Excellent customer service, lovely room and brilliant breakfast, we would highly recommend it.
