The blue Waters-Superb Lake resort In Lake Malawi Salima Senga Bay We stayed here for two nights after finishing our meeting and Hiking the Senga bay Trail as part of team building. It is a beautiful spot by the shore of Lake Malawi Senga-bay in front of Nmalanje Island providing more pristine views and a cleaner beach than Cape Maclear to the south. The facilities were superb and very good, including shaded beach front area close to main swing pool , a good beach front bar with classy music band plenty of areas to relax and provision of good food including Indian cuisine . There was a worthy atmosphere with nice African touch and very smart set up and the vibe was truly fun and relaxed. The bar music was superb and congrats to Tia main singer-Blue waters band , Staff were helpful and service was very good and well trained and well managed and well-kept lake resort by Serendib hotels and resorts Malawi . I would definitely recommend :-) for classy beach holiday including lake front swimming pool with classy pool cocktail bar superb meeting rooms and excellent food in meeting room, Great breakfast buffet with Lake Front seating under tree restaurant-unforgettable, likewise we had dinner at the highest lake view tree deck restaurant in Lake Malawi, rooms are classy and very different with nature atmosphere... There is plenty of lake water sport, unfortunately lake was too violent due to nature call during our stay, we definitely come back thank you Blue waters. Kajal, Lilongwe Malawi…

I stayed at the Blue Waters Lodge I'as part of a package deal put together by Wilds of Africa. The greeting as we drove in was exceptional, and we were given a nice cold glass of Tamarind juice. Check-in went well, and I was shown to my room. Room accommodations were exceptional. Dinner was very good. And they had a live band. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was fabulous, stopping at the island for some pictures. The only complaint I have which knocked it down from a five to a four, was that there were no there was no hot water. Other than that, this day was very nice

My wife and I are from UK doing a self-drive trip through Africa. Blue waters Lake Resort Lake Malawi exceeded our expectations. After staying at a range of different lodges/resorts of similar price blue waters truly stood out. The resort were well organized and super friendly and professional... During the drive from Zambia we were curious as to who if anyone would greet us on arrival as it felt like a never ending drive. We were very pleasantly surprised that this gem was hidden so far surrounded by Lake Malawi. The warm greetings and professional attitude of all the staff instantly made us feel at peace and super grateful to have found such a beautiful place to call home for a few days. The staff were all very friendly and caring, Tharaka,Joyce, chimomay, Felix, Caroline and Martin to name a few quickly showed interest and helps insure we were VERY well looked after. Thank you all. Special mention needs to be made to the managers, GM Don introduced tharaka. Justine and Chef Richard. Even though they had a resort full of people during late December, they make sure to speak to us personally each day to make sure we were receiving the best experience at blue-w, could offer. They made us feel like we were the most important people in the resort which was incredible service that we certainly haven’t explained anywhere else to such a degree. Thank you blue waters Lake Malawi Resort team for incredible stay during last year December and we fell in love with Namelenje island middle of the lake and we will definitely come back and tell all our friends and family’s to visit blue waters Lake Malawi… Love you all….

Excellent lake beach resort with admirable location as this beautiful resort located at Lake Malawi beach view in front of famous namelenje island, approximately 125km from Lilongwe capital city of Malawi, approximately1hour and 15 minutes’ drive, the place found extremely clean & comfortable and well-kept beach resort. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff Rexa and her team, she makes our trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the area, and places to visit within resort area and walking distance. We would definitely recommend this place to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for extra effort to make us confident on the product and the safety assurance, truly our stay was brilliant with beach front family accommodation, fresh fruits and vegetable superb breakfast and plenty of water sport including snorkeling and even scuba diving in namelenje island area truly beautiful lake fishes and amazing experience thanks captain McFord for his all effort on taking around the lake, he was well experienced guide for us… Overall very well managed property with ultimate customer care and we assured that blue waters is one of the best well-kept and managed African lake front resort with superb quilt of services and its product …

Best by far and great stay… Amazing feel to the entire settings truly upscale resort in Malawi, the management to staff are all friendly and inviting with superb hospitality, the view is amazing, tropical sandy beach vibes with the sounds of fish amazing lake views and eagles chattering, from room service to the tree restaurant cuisine with amazing upper deck and all-star class services and standard with classy music, big praise to Blue Waters Lake Resort team for the amazing stay, we loved it..

Blue waters lake resort is located in Lake Malawi Sengabay Salima just over an hour’s drive from the capital city Lilongwe. This rustic resort set in very attractive lake front, short drive from small Salima town, towards to Lake Sengabay Malawi, so you would need transport if using it as a base to explore the area. This is one of the best lake conference facilities, service and FOOD**** that we have ever experience in Malawi and truly outstanding, resort managed by Serendib group Malawi and this is our third year Comesa Zambia held Malawi conference at Blue Waters lake resort and its size offers a number of advantages, These include shorter distances between guest rooms and the public areas, lovely live music during mealtimes/and evening to late night and overall a quieter calmer atmosphere and excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet verities are perfect with fresh fruits and vegetables, lake fish verities, live braai stations /live pasta cooking stations truly superb standard maintained at all times, for power recovery resort have installed high voltage generators. There are ramps to most rooms on the ground floor offering access to those with mobility difficulties. The guest rooms were spacious and very good quality standard maintained, quality room amenities/beddings, the water supply was truly good and a reasonable temperature. Mosquito nets and mosquito repellent available, but we never had any issues with mosquitos throughout our stay. The concrete selling point for this facility was the support provided by the Management and staff at all levels highly professional and well trained staff members in every ways 24 hours front office service and security available they acted on requests and responded to issues very quickly. For example, on arrival we explained the room lay out required and when we arrived on the first morning everything in the conference room, including audio visual and audio equipment was exactly as we wanted. I would be love to use this lake resort for leisure purposes if I wanted somewhere to stay for a few days while exploring the lake shore Malawi and plenty of water sports and activities are available, and do not forget to have dinner at Tree Dining at the lake front, visit namelenje island boat trip with the crew, we experience the best lake resort in Lake Malawi this far with their heart felt services…. This review for token of appreciation to blue waters management and the team members for our memorable stay during Malawi-Comesa event 2023…

A treat worth of every penny "The rooms are immaculately clean and well kept, creating some comfort in the likeness of a home by simple deco’s and excellent touch. I will always remember the moments I spent at the resort enjoying the magnificent beach front swimming pool with those ice cold cocktails and live band music so refreshing and by pool beach bar surprisingly international standard beverage selection… Dinner at the lake front tree house restaurant was such an amazing and unforgettable experience that was the best sky dinner surrounding with nature we ever had on the galaxy deck lots of fun thanks to blue wtaers. The service art during our treehouse dinner was truly mastered at a level beyond reality. If you are looking for a place worth every coin, this resort offers exactly that. I will definitely be back with my family and friends.

Stayed here for one night , it was hot season and the rooms were very stuffy air con was effective and room was tired with old windows and broken toilet and sink. Staff were extremely helpful and made up for the difference.

One of the best places to visit. The service is great, the food is nice, the rooms are neat, didn't experience any outages the entire time we stayed there.everything is great especially the breakfast buffet 😋for me. you must definitely visit👍
