Drink wine and take the long way back. Draw a bath, walk around in the robe, and fall asleep reading. Salzburg is now your favorite town."

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a peaceful sanctuary designed to soothe both body and soul. The setting is absolutely serene - nestled in the hills with panoramic views of nature that instantly invite calm. The spa facilities are world-class. The wellness programs were thoughtfully curated. I participated in guided morning yoga, meditation sessions, and wellness programs. These experiences felt authentic, not gimmicky, and left me feeling recharged and inspired. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully minimalist. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It truly felt like the hotel had thought of everything. Dining was another high point. The restaurant offered a wellness-focused menu with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I’m not vegan, but the plant-based options were so flavorful I didn’t miss meat at all. They even accommodated my gluten and lactose intolerance without issue. Lastly, the staff deserve a special mention. Every interaction - from the front desk to the wellness coacheswas warm, and respectful."

"Driving out of busy Salzburg up into the hills above to the Gersberg Alm we were greeted by a beautiful chalet with flowers, trees, & pastures. They have a full restaurant so we had a light lunch. They view down to Salzburg was so nice that we just stayed up in the hills rather than walk the city. Its only a short 10 minute drive to the city and you will do best with your own car. There is plenty of free parking. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with that view. This is family run hotel of the finest quality. Breakfast & dinners were of the best quality. The staff are all willing to help out. There isn't a lift but the staff was quick to help with luggage. This was a great place to stay."

"Came to Salzburg with friends and immediately fell in love with this hotel, so we booked it. We were two adults and one child, so we opted for the deluxe large room and asked the hotel to add an extra bed. The room was beautiful, with four windows (including a large one in the bathroom) and a balcony. Below our floor was the swimming pool, where some people in bathrobes were watching the sunset. Just beyond that was Lake Fuschl, which was serene and lovely."

"A clean basic hotel, which gets the pluses of an excellent location, close to many attractions and good restaurants. Friendly staff. Good and varied breakfast. A few annoying things observed or experienced during our one-night stay: a very small room, another towel hook torn off the bathroom door, a really slow elevator. When we left, we were also charged a parking fee (24€), which had to be paid based on a ticket also in the parking garage, (which was quite far away...), so we first paid it double and, to get a refund, we had to return to the hotel, which slightly delayed our schedule."
