Hotel berhampiran Rukhobod Mausoleum, Samarkand

Diyor Hotel is definitely a go. It’s in Registan Square vicinity and super near to anything. There’s a restaurant beside the hotel if you want a quick bite or if you decide to skip breakfast that the hotel provide. About the room, I have no complains. They have hot showers, dryer, electric kettle, blankets, aircon and tv. If you have an issue with your room, politely ask for a change. They will gladly do it. On the first day I came, my door was unable to lock. However, they immediately gave me a new room without any fuss. Also, twice I came down late for my complimentary breakfast. But there’s an elderly woman whom I called ‘Ama’ helped made me a nice one on both occasions. If case you don’t know, this is a family hotel. There’s also a young man named Anwar who managed the counter. Should you need any help, don’t be shy to ask him. On the day I need to leave, I asked him to wake me up at 4am because I had a flight to catch. He really did call my phone to wake me up. I really appreciate the service. I definitely recommend to those who wants to book a room here. I assure you will find it better than most. (Ps: I didn’t take any photo as I thought that since I have experienced nothing negative, I don’t need to take any.)

During our trip we had select East star hotel as our basis for exploring Samarkand. Hotel is centrally located in the center in a nice and quite neighborhood just steps to the main venue and very good restaurants around. Hotel has nice design and room was clean and modern and had everything. We had dinner and some drinks on the rooftop restaurant and food was nice and good price. A very good choice for Samarkand.

Неполное описание номеров: в стандарте отсутствует окно! Об этом нигде не указано! Внутреннее окно выходит в коридор, оно заклеено пленкой, пропускающей свет. Black-out штор нет, поэтому спали при ярком коридорном светильнике, который установлен напротив псевдо-окна и светит напрямую в комнату. Со светом в отеле беда: везде установлены мощные лампы холодного спектра, свет в номере - как в операционной, через минут 10 начинает ломить глаза. Свет горит везде и даже в солнечный день: на завтраке (хотя тут панорамные окна), коридорах, лестницах. Сейф в номере не работал. Туалетная комната требует доработки: плохо уходит вода, над крошечной раковиной, над которой невозможно умыться, нет никакой полки для принадлежностей. Из плюсов: хорошее расположение, все новое (но для аллергиков: есть запах от новых покрытий, который почему-то пытаются заглушить ароматизаторами: запах в коридорах как в санузлах). В номере есть ТВ экран, но ТВ нет, только доступ в интернет. Завтрак обычный для Узбекистана, кроме раскладки фруктов: дольки мандарина и яблока, нещедро растянутые по одной тарелочке. Плюс: кофемашина, которая редко где здесь есть. Наша ошибка: мы бронировали напрямую. Советую через бронировочные сайты: тк это хоть какой-то рычаг воздействия на отель, заинтересованный в отзывах и рейтинге. А напрямую: при заезде узнаем, что номер без окна. Кому жаловаться?! Некому. Повысить категорию номера отказались, хотя в отеле было занято всего 6 номеров. То есть если бронировать- то самый дорогой тип комнаты и не аллергикам.

I chose Sangzor boutique hotel after reading all the good reviews here. The pedestrian street is just at the door step. Hotel staff Sobirjon is very helpful, he showed me the tourist information centre across, a few shops away when I wanted to book a trip to cross the Samarkent border to Tajikistan. I told Azamat, the manager of the tourist information centre that I was having problems booking Yandex rides back to hotel using Sangzor boutique hotel as destination as it is on a pedestrian street and most of the time Yandex drivers dont know where to alight me. He advised me to use the big red advertisment of the restaurant name (sorry I forgot) on the back wall where Yandex drivers alight me correctly at the back, just need to walk through the opening & see the hotel across with its red carpet. I also found out from Azamat that they have student guides for the 5h old city tour US45, local guide $65 and there’s a whole day 9-5pm tour with guide & transport US115. I stayed 3 nights here, it is very convenient with the tourist information centre across. Azamat personalised an itinerary for me to Tajikistan Pangjakent & Dushanbe. I went to Hamkor Bank to withdraw USD, paid for the trip & departed the next morning! Best hotel to stay & plan last minute trips! P/S upon check out, the staff at reception passed me a slip of paper with details of my stay. I realised at the Tajikistan Panjakent border custom wants to verify my stay at Samarkent and he wants to see my registration paper!

After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

hotel was perfectly located with walking distance to many tourist attractions. The rooms are also good with all amenities. The best part is owner and the entire staff are available round the clock to ensure that their guests are well taken care off. In my case, I lost my luggage during my trip from Bukhara to Samrkand. The owner and his staff went above n beyond and within hours had it delivered to me. Once again I take this moment to thank the entire staff for their efforts. if ever i get an opportunity to visit Samarkand in future, this place is definitely going to be my place to stay.

I had the most amazing stay at Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand! Arrived and I was shookethd by how boujie the room was…. Super clean…. Special shoutouts to housekeeper Narmilya! She was so helpful. I met so many amazing staff at the reception too. I didn’t have the best experiences in Samarkand but they were all so lovely and made me feel safe, comfortable and welcome. Thank you especially to Sabina, Mumin, Charos, Doston, Mirali and Dimitry! I had some super helpful room service staff as well but I didn’t get their names! The food was great and affordable. If you’re coming to Samarkand as a westerner it can be a bit scary….. but the staff at HGIS made it so much easier…. I’ve never had a hotel experience where the staff have treated me so well….. I feel privileged and grateful to have met them all and received their service! Thank you HGIS! Love, Sim x

При бронировании нельзя для ребенка выбрать кровать. В системе бронирования в отеле видят номер как на двоих, потому что дети у них в системе не учитываются, но при этом доплачивать за кровать ребенка надо в отеле, хотя удобнее было бы сразу оплатить при бронировании. Нас заселили втроем с ребенком 14 лет в 2-х местный номер. Но зато рядом находится городок с ресторанами и выстроенным. Улочками под старый город. Отель находится загородом от Самарканда. Также были сложности вызвать такси, нам озвучили одну цену, далее увидели багаж и надбавил таксист еще 40%.

とても綺麗なホテルでした。 サービスも良かったです。 部屋に虫が出た時もすぐにきてくれて、 対応してくれました。 3泊したのですが、3泊目にタオルなどの交換を お願いしていましたが、されておらず、、 そこだけ悔やまれる点でした。

Everything was excellent until the black out happened twice in one morning on our last day at the hotel. ID of the toilets need improvement - need the racks to be spaced out for hanging clothes and towels. WiFi can be improved, randomly getting cut out, not so ideal for working. Heated water in the shower was a tad too hot and couldn't make it colder. Mr T. loves the bidets and the multi-functioned toilet bowls. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of selection.
