Easy to get help to rent motorcycle. The most appreciated part was hotel gave us a warm pick up from the harbour. Weather are cold and the mountain views are spectacular. Samosir Cottage Hotel is a lovely hotel with magnificent views across Lake Toba. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent (beware the really large portions when you order). Staff is very helpful, they even made sure i got a complete breakfast even though I had to leave very early.
