I simply just had an amazing stay!!! The staff is professional but very friendly and super helpfull at the same time!! Their rooftop terras is such an added value! Also the other hostel guest were nice and easy to connect with! Would recommend everyone!!! And the cats are great as well :)

Hostel with an amazing vibe, really easy to meet and connect with people (of all ages!). People kept on extending their stay! Well equipped kitchen to cook food, beds make you sleep like a rock, and the terrace has a great view over the town. Free coffee in the mornings, delicious breakfast and beers to buy. Has everything I would look for in a hostel, no complaints at all :)

Hostal Bambu is the best hostal you could find to stay in! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the hostal and kitchen were always clean, and the atmosphere was really nice, thanks to stephanie and the other guests who were staying (it seemed like lots of guests were returning for their second or third stay as well!) There are so many tours you can do in the area, and san agustin is also just a great place to spend time and relax. I will definitely be returning here.

I had an amazing experience in Bambu hostel ! Everything is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is very practical with a lot of ustensiles to use. I really like the terrasse with beautiful view. Cool ambiance and nice people working there ! The breakfast is good and cheap. Perfect place to stay few days. I totally recommend !!!

Bambu hostel is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed at! It's in one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia, 5 minutes from the main square with a rooftop that looks over the mountains and the town. Estefani the manager takes fantasic care of the guests and is always working hard to make sure the hostel is perfect for them. She is always helpful and kind and has great ideas and suggestions for the guests. The breakfast is delicious and a very reasonable price, there is also beer available, and a laundry service - which is very useful. There are many fun activities that can be booked through the hostel like zip lining, waterfalls, white water rafting, coffee tours and so much more. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone that enjoys beautiful views, adventure, hiking or just wants to chill in a scenic place with great service before their next adventure.

The Hostal Bambú doesn't seem to have been so much designed as grown into the hillside at the end of downtown San Agustín. The best word I could come up with the describe the facility is "funky." One example, is that the hallway, the floor of my private room and it bathroom were at slightly different levels, and the bathroom door wasn't quite as tall as I was. I found the differences from standard construction endearing. At the top is the rooftop relaxation area where hostelers can have an easy time of meeting each other, and it's probably the best place in town to watch the sunset. The facility really does seem to be designed to help travelers meet each other. I was there during off-season, so there wasn't much in terms of organized activities, but the hospital did a good job helping guests in finding ways to enjoy the sites of the area. Guests with physical challenges should be aware that this hostel is about as opposite of handicap-accessibe as can be.

Hot shower, best wifi in town, good price, clean rooms, friendly, location in the city centre but quiet area. The owner will give you lots of tips about what you can do in San Agustin. Highly recommended.

El hostal Bambú es uno de los mejores en los que he estado, todos sus espacios son muy acogedoras y la terraza tiene una vista maravillosa, además todos los espacios siempre están aseados. El ambiente es muy relajado y puedes conocer a otros viajeros fácilmente, sin duda la mejor opción para vivir una gran experiencia en San Agustín.
