Footprints Beach Resort

Owen and Angelica have created a 'home away from home' and Footprints was a great find. We arrived to a warm greeting from everyone and were shown to our well equipped beachfront villa. Food and drinks were great and they had a very well stocked bar. Locals came to play volleyball at sunset and just enjoy the beach. In the morning we walked along the beach and just relaxed. We rented a really nice motorcycle from the property and explored the island. Our next destination was Romblon Island and they organised an island hopping tour to take us to the hidden away bays and island and finally deliver us to Romblon Island.... what a way to arrive! Book with confidence, Footprints was better than we expected.

Alt var perfekt ved Footprints! Vi havde ud fra billederne selvfølgelig forventet meget, og virkeligheden levede 110% op til forventningerne. Servicen var i top, udsigten var fantastisk og personalet var så hjælpsomme, søde og smilende. Intet kunne have været bedre. Vi lejede scooter og kørte rundt på Tablas, som er en smuk ø, hvor man virkelig kan mærke lokalbefolkningen. Vi nåede kun at møde ejerne til sidst, men kunne virkelig mærke hvor meget de brænder for at give en god oplevelse, og socialisere med gæsterne. Vi vil klart anbefale Tablas og Footprints til alle, der overvejer at komme til Filippinerne.

We really loved our stay at Footprints! The room was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The beach was also clean. They organised us scooters so we could tour the island and gave us a few tips which was greatly appreciated. Owen also helped us with the ferry schedules before our arrival. The food was a bit more expensive compared to local restaurants but it was always delicious!

The staff is wonderful, welcoming and helpful when we needed a boat and car arranged. The location can’t be beat and the rooms are smack on the beach, each with their own hammock.

Every meal is "rigtig fin"—prepared with care and full of flavor. The "Tablas" Magic It is true that getting to Tablas can be a bit of a journey, but that is actually a secret blessing. Because it takes a little extra effort to reach this paradise, it naturally filters the crowd. You’ll find that the types of tourists who make it here are a specific kind of people—adventurous, respectful, and like-minded travelers who value authenticity over mass tourism. Final Verdict Footprints Resort is a rare find. Between the kindness of Owen, Angie, and the kids, the top-tier service from the staff, and the serene atmosphere, it was an unforgettable experience. We cannot recommend this place enough!

I liked the location, the condition of the rooms and accessibility. Much better if you have your own vehicle. Food? OUTSTANDING for breakfast and dinner. We did not eat there for lunch. We liked it there so much that we ended up staying for 5 nights. The proprietors, Mr. Owen and Mrs. Angie was always available for any questions we had. Thank you and we will be back...

Great stay at Footprints We spent three absolutely perfect nights at Footprints, right on the beach in the Philippines. The accommodation was very pleasant, comfortable and air-conditioned, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything was available on site, making the stay very convenient. The food was excellent and varied, and we enjoyed every meal. We were also able to hire scooters directly on site, which made it easy to explore the island. The staff were lovely, always smiling and attentive, as was the manager, who gave us a warm welcome. If we ever come back to this island, we'll gladly return to Footprints!
