SAN ANDRES I've only been once I was in May 4 days 3 nights in the apartments of the sunrise hotel You can spend a very good vacation to enjoy in company and go out to sea, you can go to the aquarium, you can go to the jhony kay island. I really liked the apartment because it is clean, big, in the morning there is breakfast in the room, you can go out to some restaurants such as Bocca Oro, its food is very delicious, at the Casa Blanca hotel there is delicious sea.

A chegada ao hotel foi um pouco decepcionante devido a sua entrada ficar em uma éspecie de beco/viela que está em reforma e dá uma péssima impressão. Confesso que teria procurado outro hotel se meu esposo não tivesse insistido, mas ele me lembrou que poucos hotéis ofereciam água quente na ilha e por isso havíamos escolhido esse. Após o check in fomos para o quarto, e tive uma agradável supresa : tudo estava muito limpo, organizado e novo. Ar condicionado excelente. Decoração super clean e charmosa. Cama com colchão irregular e mole. Oferecem um kit de banho muito gostoso, incluindo creme hidratante corporal. Chuveiro quentinho!! O quarto também tem uma cafeteira , frigobar e uma pia para quem quiser fazer suas refeições. Também há disponível tábua e ferro de passar no quarto. O hotel também disponibiliza sem custo wi fi, guardam suas malas após check-out e ducha e toalha. A ducha e toalha após check-out, é super simples. Fica do lado externo do hotel, sendo super útil para quem quiser aproveitar o dia após o check-out às 12 pm. Os funcionários são super solícitos. Fica muito bem localizado, o que permite fazer praticamente tudo a pé, como ir aos melhores restaurantes, porto, lojas e a praia Spratt Bight. Ñ há café da manhã incluso. No entanto na recepção está disponível café preto, água para chá, crema ( para fazer café com leite ) sem custo. O custo benefício vale muito a pena.

Definitely the perfect location right on a beautiful beach. The property was clean, pool area nice, and room was well-maintained with great A/C. I think for the price, better toiletries should be provided. Negative was the staff that I felt was particularly unfriendly. Downright surly waitstaff in the breakfast buffet and others throughout the property simply not friendly or smiling. One exception is the pool bartender, and regrettably I don't know his name.

The location is in the other side from downtown . You can get there within 15minutes walk. Facility itself is good. It would be better if I can use wifi at room.

Blissful Experience on Beautiful San Andres This trip was our first time in Colombia and our first time in San Andres. Initially we reserved and stayed one night at another property on the southwest end of the island. Although it was across the road from the ocean with a stunning view and with a great beach just to the south down the road, it was very far away from everything. The boutique hotel Casa Hendaus found us. We thought that there weren't anymore ”nice” places available when we booked our initial lodging. We found and booked Casa Hendaus just hours after realizing the other location would not work. By the way, English is my first language. The evening manager does not speak English but was patient when I explained my needs in basic Spanish. One look was all it took! From the lobby to 2nd floor pool lounge to the top floor breakfast area, the entire property is beautiful. Beyond beautiful...blissful. One can realize quickly that EVERY element of the property was considered by a thoughtful human wish you to feel bliss. Experience the property for yourself. Meet Rebecca, the day manager, who is fluent in English. Her recommendations were so helpful! From dinner options to taxis she helped us whenever we needed it. Every morning, meet the morning staff who prepares and serves your meal in the penthouse breakfast area. Meet your room attendants who faithfully restore your room to a comfortable condition to receive you at day's end. Even meet the grounds person and maintenance person, both careful caretakers of the greenery and property. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner. You could walk here from the airport in 20 minutes. If there was no fence, you could be there in 5 minutes! But a 5 minute taxi ride for certain. The beach and boardwalk area is about 20 minutes walking. Downtown or El Centro is about 30 minutes. The ocean and sunset is out the door, to the left, 7 minutes away. Enjoy your stay!!!
