Great location, it's in walking distance to the Riverwalk.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The vale were very helpful getting us our vehicle every time we needed it and helped with our luggage. Great family game area with games like monopoly, scrabble, and chess. Cafe un hotel had giant pop tarts and amazing capachinos! The room was spacious, comfortable, clean beds, and cute mini fridge! In all, I loved my stay!

The pool was closed the restraunt was closed parking was $35 a day. The room was not worth what I paid, paid 120 for one night plus the 35 for parking. Vallet guys were awesome though and the lady at the bar was awesome as well the front desk ladies were okay didn’t really explain anything to you. Just went to get away for a day and experience the river walk Alamo and the zoo did it all in one day.

We chose this hotel because of the location, easy walk to riverwalk, our favorite spot....just perfect. The staff & valet service were extremely helpful & courteous. The only thing we were not pleased was our room #610. It was not inviting, it seemed damp, was dark, couldn't open shades in the afternoon, too much sun. When we got there the shades were up & the room was very hot, took long to cool the room. In the morning, we enjoy the outside light, though. It just seemed that we were in a very small dull room. Oh, we would have enjoyed a microwave in the room. We just expected a little bit more for the price we paid. But we made the best of it & enjoyed out time there. Thank you for your service in making it comfortable.

Enjoyed the Gavel Restaurant in the building. Good breakfast, nice staff and the bar was open late with excellent live music on Saturday Night. Close to the riverwalk, clean room and just around the corner from San Fernando Cathedral.

It was more of a safety issue for me. There was a leak in the ceiling and water was pouring from the ceiling into my tub and shower in the bathroom from upstairs at 11 o’clock at night. The hotel had to move me to a different room. This is something that should’ve been taken care of before they put customers in the rooms.

This was our first time in San Antonio so I went with the Riverwalk Plaza because the photos of the rooms “looked” nice. The room we got was nothing like in the photos. The floors were sticky when walking barefoot, walls had chipped paints, base boards were dirty with stains, and the room was small. The front desk/cafe/gavel staffs’ were all nice and helpful. House keeper could use some customer service classes though.

It’s at the very end of the river walk with the worst view honestly, besides that it’s old, dirty and needs to be updated. The first room we were given had chipped paint in bathroom, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and had to be lifted a certain way to even get it a little bit closed, no drawers or anywhere to put clothes and the floor was sticky. We were moved to another room due to the AC being flushed and we found a huge puddle of something slimy next to the bed. Once we got to the second room it was a bit nicer but, floor still sticky, even oily in a few spots and the curtain to the balcony was broken and off track, it wouldn’t go all the way down or even up like it was supposed to. We will definitely stay somewhere else next time.

Two bed room should have two chairs and two luggage racks. A dresser to unpack would be nice. Bathroom fan did not work so windows steam up. Front desk staff not friendly. Housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job. Restaurant staff friendly, food not bad.

In all was highly unsatisfied with our stay here. Rooms were very dirty to begin with and when requesting to be cleaned even in advance the nights prior it would not get the room cleaned. Gave up asking after that. Tv was complicated to work even after requesting for maintenance to assist. ******* says breakfast included but they do not offer this. The restaurant in the hotel was not open according to listed hours on location. Hotel service was just not friendly and we really tried to be good guests but the issues dealt with just made it a bad experience. Will not stay again unfortunately.
