This hotel was unlike any hotel I have stayed in the past. There are so many positives. Nothing is all good. I was allowed to check in early which was wonderful. Staff was welcoming on arrival. I booked through **********. I was asked about my welcome drink and massage discount. I don't know if this was a mistake on the booking website. Never had this happen before. There isn't an elevator on the second floor. The rooms use traditional keys. The safe uses a key too. The room is spacious with a nice balcony. There is a refrigerator and a small coffee maker. The wifi in the room is spooky. It usually works on the balcony. There is a nice trail at the hotel. There is a nice pool and spa. The breakfast opens at 7 am. Some activities pick you up by 7. The breakfast has a lot of choices. There is an omelette bar. For the most part, I didn't really like the breakfast. It's about a 10 minute walk to other stores or restaurants. It isn't far but there isn't a sidewalk. I didn't care for the food in the restaurant ( it's usually empty). Plan accordingly. The bed is comfortable. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. You wake up to chirping. It is serene. The housekeepers make animals out of your towels. I have only seen that on cruises. That was a plus. The front desk will help you with tours. I had a tour I booked cancel last minute. They called and got me set up for another tour. This hotel is really unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. I am glad I came. No place is perfect.

Amazing amazing amazing! I want to go back already! Hot springs were amazing, I love the option of having at least one of the hot springs open 24/7, they change it each night for cleaning purposes, they’re very strict on the towels, each one is literally accounted for otherwise there is a fee per towel, no big deal as long as you keep track, didn’t really need to carry a towel around anyway, the only downside I’d have to say was the Italian restaurant was much better then the buffet option, also the slides are pretty intense, I actually hurt my foot on one of them, but it didn’t stop the fun. Wish I were back there!

We loved this resort! It was the nicest place we've ever stayed. We had a Rainforest Pool Villa, and the tropical plants outside the deck made us feel like we were all alone. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor shower. We never showered inside. We loved getting up in the morning and having coffee in the plunge pool. They provide snacks in the room along with coffee, beer, juice, sparkling water and cola. The resort has many restaurants/bars. The breakfast was very good. We loved the fresh tropical fruit each morning. Although the restaurants and bars are pricey, we realized we were paying for the experience. We did the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings at Amor Loco, and it was excellent! Again, pricey, but it was an outstanding experience. The property is gorgeous with wonderful thermal spas. It's hilly, so we got our exercise, but they will also drive you around in a golf cart if the hills are an issue. We did several excursions with Jacamar tours, so we really didn't take advantage of the resort's activities. They offer guided walks, yoga, and night walks. I would love to go back, and when we do, we may just stay on the resort and take advantage of all they offer.

Amazing views and excellent surroundings! Welcome to paradise is the feel that you experience at The Springs Resort! As a family of four there was something for everyone. Adventure (at Club Rio), relaxation (we loved the spa and the hot springs) and family fun in the game room. Our family intended to get a day pass to experience the springs and decided to check in for the night instead. The staff was exceptional and made all of us feel well taken care of from the minute we arrived until we had to sadly depart the property for our flight home. We did not want to leave! A special shout out to Carlos, Oliver, Daniel, Roosscvelth, Bismarck, Nicole, Karmab and Caroline! Such an excellent run property with amazing staff.

Nos encantó tanto por la ubicación a los pies del volcán Arenal ,,sus vistas,,,y por sus servicios su gente y la comodidad del hotel !! VOLVERÍAMOS !! Hay animales ,,caminatas ,,cascadas ,algún puente colgante un observatorio para subir tipo mirador !! No nos hubiéramos ido. !! La comida y el desayuno excelente !! Allí vimos también la rana de colores tan famosa en Costa Rica !!
