Four Seasons at Embarcadero was simply not worthy of a five-stars hotel. I’ve even completed a survey at the end of our stay which not the general manager reached out instead the administrative assistant. After my message revealing it was a generic response from her, she ghosted right after. Do you think that warranted five-stars for ghosting a guest that just stayed at your property? No. Obviously they simply do not care, which was an utter shame. In addition to that, the check-in process was a complete mess (checking in twice on the same day), room wasn’t ready close to 5pm (despite being asked by their team a couple of days when we will be arriving) and customer service simply was not that of five-stars. Sure, the suite was lovely and so were the corner views but despite how well done those points were - without customer service and being organized and on top of your game, it didn’t warrant five stars at all for a Four Seasons property. For such a pretty penny, this felt like highway robbery.

The location is perfect, easy to access all the famous spots in SF. Overall service was also nice. However, the facilities in the bathroom need to replace with new ones, or, at least, it needs to be fixed. 1. the drain in the sink was clogged, so water went down slowly. 2. I hoped to take a rest from the fatigue of my long journey with a lower-body bath, but it was almost impossible since the tub cap looks like broken, and the water in the tub kept leaking. It was a somewhat disappointing experience considering the hotel is regarded as the best one in SF.

I booked for an emergency work trip. Hotel was near the office. When I arrived there were trash cans at the curb and it smelled terrible. Once inside there was a guest that wanted to go into the room they had rented to get a phone charger, and the counter clerk insisted it wasn't there. They went back and forth for several minutes before I was helped. The clerk said the room was the one I had booked and he'd go check again. We did the paperwork and went upstairs. Could barely fit through the elevator door with one suitcase and a backpack. I get to my room, the clerk searches it and hands me a key to my door and a fob to get in the front door. As I was there for work I sat down and set up my laptop and went to connect to the network. I work in healthcare and my computer refused to connect because it was an open network. Without the barest of security on the wifi, I could not connect to my VPN and work. I went down to the front desk and told them that I was there for a work trip and I was unable to work because their wifi didn't have adequate security. I was told it was ”standard wifi” and that I ”might get a refund, he didn't know”. I checked out 30 minutes after checking in, and they charged me for the full 6 nights at a total of $2600 because I didn't cancel within the 24 hour window (I booked 25 hours before) and they said I should have called and asked about the security of their wifi....Who thinks a business would have less security on their wifi than your home internet service?? I tried talking to the manager who insisted that they couldn't rebook the room (that's a lie) and it was my fault for not checking with them. Terrible service. They're hiding behind the 24 hour cancellation period which I had zero control over. As my company's HQ is in San Fran, I will be notifying our travel and finance departments of the filthy behavior of management and the facility to make sure none of our other employees book here.

サンフランシスコの1番便利なところにあるホテルです。マーケットストリートと4th街の交差点のところにあります。目の前にマリオットホテルがあります。斜めにRoss店があります。 5泊宿泊しました。部屋にはスリッパや歯ブラシなどは無いので持参が必要です。ティッシュは1箱フロントで貰いました。冷蔵庫は無いです。電子レンジは1階にあります。娘の部屋にはシャワーだけですが私の部屋には浴槽もあります。 受付の方はみんなとても親切でした。1人が日本語がしゃべれて本当に優しい方でした。この近くにはレストランもスーパーもありますのでとても便利です。電車もたくさんありますので観光にも良い場所です。

Best sleep ever courtesy of motorized black out shades and a super comfy bed. Great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows when not sleeping (go for the corner rooms). Modern and functional layout, lots of closet space, separate toilet area, vanity with light up mirror, high end eco friendly toiletries, Nespresso, mini fridge, cushioned bench with table that was great for a desk or dining for 2 using the comfortable vanity chair. Boutique feel but with all the amenities of a larger hotel and excellent service. Shelby's rooftop was amazing. The vibe and views are incredible, sit inside or out. I was blown away by the Roasted Monkfish, we're talking Michelin quality, creative, harmonious, delicious. The sauce was incredible, preserved lemon chimichurri with a surprising variety of roasted mushrooms and tiny kernals of sweet corn. The monkfish was so tender an meaty and cut in a way that every bite was perfectly designed to be savored. And when the fish was gone, I used some potatoes to get every last bit of the sauce. I would go again just for that! A week later and I'm still thinking about it. Thank you Chef Michelle Matthews for an fabulous meal!
