Ulasan Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

This is my second time staying here and it feels just like home, Chinatown is right around the corner and the Walgreens is right there, I’ll be staying here from now on Everytime I come into San Francisco, Love this place.

The hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful, and the room was clean and quiet. Housekeeping was meticulous every day. Plus, it's super convenient with transportation, services, and shopping all close by! Overall, a very pleasant stay.

It is a very old hotel but it is clean. I felt ok before the wired incident happened. I checked in after 3pm after a long flight . They woked me up by knocking to my door around 8pm for just checking if someone in the room. Then they called me after ard 15mins later and told me that they gave me the wrong room and want me to get packed and go down to the lobby. Even I told them I was sleeping and I have already unpacked they still want me to go down to the lobby to show my ID. I told them I don't mind but they have to wait and apologize is not enough. They should prepare some compensation. After they heard that I requested for compensation they gave up and said that I don't have to go down to the lobby anymore. How can it possible for a staff to request the guest to move out from the room just because of their system's mistake???

Room is very clean and bed very comfortable. Good room service everyday, unlimited complimentary water, coffee, tea, cookies all day long. Wifi available in room. Staff are courteous. Location is close to Union square and all transport. I will stay here again next time. The only flaw is the TV is not connected to power & no power cord provided, hence can't watch TV, hope this can fix.

The room's location is super convenient, really close to Union Square and Westfield. While the facilities are a bit older, it's very clean and quiet. Downstairs, they offer free hot water, coffee, cookies, and fruit, which is a nice touch. Definitely good value for money.

Great central location, and the 24/7 tea and coffee machine is a real plus. It's also incredibly convenient for Amazon deliveries – my orders arrived within 3 hours!

The location is super convenient with great transport links. The cable car stops right outside the hotel, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Union Square. They also offer free cookies, coffee, and fruit. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great.

My colleague stayed there and reported that the hotel's hygiene was really poor. After just one night, her skin became red and itchy, full of mites from the pillows and duvets. It was truly awful!

Feels very dated. The staff weren't very friendly towards Chinese people.

It’s a lovely hotel with its own charm. Everything is very well thought out. I even stayed here a second time on my way back. Thank you to Shirley for her helpfulness and assistance. Any misunderstandings that were happened were quickly resolved.

Too small, not recommended for extended stays.
