Villasanpaolo Resort & Spa

Hotel is beautiful and staff too. We went for our honeymoon trip and they were really caring and gentle. View is insane!

Just got back from 5 heavenly days spent in Tuscany, our stay was made more memorable by the hotel staff at Villa San Paolo Resort, from the moment we arrived we were looked after, Sara at Reception was especially helpful and welcoming. The food in Lampolla restaurant was exceptional, always presented beautifully. We were on the half board option, which gave us a three courses choice, either Antipasti/starters, Primi/first course, Secondi/Main and a Dessert. All fairly big portions, some traditional Tuscan specialties. Bread was always brought to the table alongside their own Olive oil for dipping, which was the best i've ever tasted. I would have loved to have taken some home with me, but only had hand luggage! Special mention to Leonardo, who helped us choose the best Chianti! he was attentive and welcoming, even when at times, was rushed off his feet. Breakfast was ok, a lot of choices. We were lucky enough to have a table every evening looking out on the spectacular view. The Suite we had was very spacious and worth the extra money. Had a lovely balcony to sit out on. The bed was extremely comfortable, we had a small issue with the drain in the shower overflowing onto the floor, they did try and sort it out straightaway but it did not seem to work, we just laid towels on the floor and tried to shower quickly! We used the Spa area on our last day as it was raining, nice big area, plenty of loungers and a nice relaxation room, we did not have any trea**ents. The bar area was very quiet, had one of the best *****nis ever, and some lovely snacks as well. We found it a great area to be in, visited San Gimingnano twice, Volterra, and Sienna, they were all so beautiful. We found Florence far too busy and overcrowded, you need to pre book any visits to Galleries in advance. We drove to Certaldo and parked for free to get the train into Florence, which was 58 minutes. We will return and stay again at Villasanpaolo!

Very peaceful hotel with friendly staff and beautiful breakfast. Our room was really clean as well as the rest of the hotel. Great dinner in restaurant with lots of options. Just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Florence. We will be back!

We had a beautiful room. We were looked after by very professional caring staff. We loved it. Would recommend staying in and dining at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful week at Villasanpaolo. Staff were always very attentive and courteous without being intrusive. Food was well prepared and presented. The location is magnificent in the most scenic part of Tuscany. We'd love to return in the future👍💙

We stayed in room116. It was spacious and has an amazing view of San Gimignano from its private balcony. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Didn’t have time to try the spa facilities, but they looked nice. Loved the place and didn’t want to leave.

Everything about the facility was beautiful. The view from the hotel room as well as the restaurant was spectacular. We'd love to return to the resort one day. One minor complaint: The tub had no shower curtain, so every shower left the bathroom floor soaking wet.

A super hotel in a great location about 10 minutes from San Gimignano. We had a very comfortable stay. The food in the restaurant was superb. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The views from the restaurant and our room were wonderful. The spa is fabulous. Unfortunately the sauna was out of action but the rest was great. So want to back again!

My wife and I had planned to stay at this place for just two nights on our trip to Tuscany. We liked the place so much that we stayed 7 nights! Even though it is not a hotel aimed at children, our 3 year old son had a lot of fun. including the SPA
