Our getaway to Il Borro for my husband's birthday was nothing short of magical. From the moment we began planning our trip to the checkout, every detail was a testament to the care and dedication of the Il Borro team. As we entered the prince suite, we were greeted by a panorama that whispered promises of unforgettable moments ahead. After hours drive, at Borro Bar by the pool, we couldn't be happier with the local produce platter awaiting us - a taste of the region's bounty after our journey from Nice, France (thanks Patrick). Our evening meal at the Osteria was a gastronomic journey, with each dish curated to perfection and served with genuine warmth and of course special beautiful dessert on request - Tiramisu! ( thanks to the beautiful attending staff at the restaurant all of who made our night so special)… Breakfast, while not extravagant in terms of variety, was a feast for the senses with its fresh, organic, and high-quality offerings. Maurizio, the restaurant manager and the team added to the experience with his delightful hosting, friendly banter, engaging in pleasant small talk with his natural gift for the discreet hospitality! The cocktail making class with Annelisa was a great experience, a blend of learning and laughter that left us with newfound skills and fond memories. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the session not only informative but also enjoyable and engaging. From the receptionists who greeted us with warmth (Marco, Christina and Kesenia to name a few, you all made us feel truly welcome) to the porters and buggy drivers whose friendliness and willingness to help us lit up our days… Il Borro's commitment to sustainability was evident in every detail, from the farm-fresh ingredients to the eco-conscious amenities—a reminder that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last…
