Hotel berhampiran Murdock Park, San Jose

This is the best hotel to stay in the whole of South Bay Area including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto and San Jose. I have been so impressed with the service of all the employees and specifically Madison as she not only helped me at the front desk but I saw that she was prompt to answer my questions and provide appropriate response through the Hilton Honors App too. The Hilton brand experience is also amazing at this place and all the amenities are to the point like Parking, Restaurant, Fitness Centre etc.

This is a very small boutique hotel which is best for business travelers that are only there for a couple days. I was here for a conference and the overall stay was nice. All of the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided great customer service. The rooms were somewhat modern with the exception of wear and tear in the bathroom and the old school ac unit in the wall.

Our stay at the Aloft Cupertino was lovely! There is complimentary garage parking, which was important to us when choosing a hotel. The swimming pool is open great hours and is beautifully lit in the evening. The gym has all of the basics. Lemon water is readily available in multiple locations. The location is ideal with many coffee shops in the area including Philz and Starbucks. The Apple Park Visitor Center is a quick drive for Apple fans. The Winchester Mystery House is nearby for an interesting tourist experience. There are complimentary yoga classes and live music nights on certain days of the week.

I wanted a nice clean quiet room to prepare for and recover from a procedure at a stanford clinic. The website and reviews for this hotel fit the bill and I was willing to pay the higher price. Nothing was as represented- look closely at those fotos- the rooms are old, shabby and not clean. The toilet was loose from the floor. The tub stopper was broken (something I needed to work to take a sitz bath). The sink didn’t drain (improperly installed -no slope on the drainage line). The walls in the room were a hideous brown, adding to the dark dirty feel of the room. And the noise! All night long you can hear people going up and down the stairs to their rooms on the second level. There’s no sound insulation. If you want a nice clean fresh quiet hotel, this is not it.

This is a great place to stay if you are fussy on cleanliness! The staff, are friendly, helpful, kind and caring. Shey and Jesi are 2 staff members l got to know, all, are more than accommodating!! A very enjoyable experience, clean, safe and quiet. I have already booked this hotel for friends that will be coming to visit. The pool and jacuzzi are a great place for some down time! Thanks to all the staff for creating/maintaining this wonderful place!!

Cupertino hotel is a great hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Heated pool so you can swim or like me workout in water all year round , plus a jacuzzi. Has its own little ecosystem with trees and plants accompanied by few birds that visit. Happy hour and breakfast. Location is 45 minutes form San Fransisco and only 10 minutes from San Jose city centre. Next to it is ready shops for all your needs , restaurants.

A friend hinted we would like this place…and boy did we! Every aspect of this remodeled older shell was aimed at quality. Quiet efficient room A/C…. Real room furniture instead of rickety cheap stuff….nice ergo desk chair….top marks for cleanliness absolutely spotless and shiny clean fixtures…. All normal room amenities but the coffe cups are real ceramic mugs if that tells you how this place is….. breakfast was great including real normal bacon rather than those paper thin things…. Staff is incredibly eager to make sure your stay is perfect. A few International plug styles say this hidden gem is frequented by Asian travelers and this place did remind me of the high end hotels we stayed at in Shanghai. We have stayed in many hundreds of hotels but this is near the best ever. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you are tired of the same cookie cutter big brand hotel rooms.

After we booked this hotel, we SPECICALLY tell them that we can take a room on ANY FLOOR EXCEPT THE GROUND FLOOR as its also in our profile. We have also had numerous text messages via app and received their replies that as ”Titanium Elite, we do have priority and it will be noted on the our booking. ” At arrival Front Desk Experience Specialist, Marie, told us that our room is on the Ground Floor. We immediately told her we cannot sleep if room is on the ground floor. As she looked into the system for availability, another front desk person appeared. This person murmured his name skewing the pronunciation on purpose until I had to go in front of him to read his name tag- it is CARLOS. Absolutely RUDE and NOT FIT for First Point of contact--he insisted that we take the ground floor room. He kept interrupting while Marie was cancelling our reservation since they were not able to come up with a room on ANY FLOOR other than the ground floor. He acted like he is the GM. I found out that he is just another front desk person--- NOT even a Manager or Supervisor. He told us there is NO MANAGER when we asked for one. Carlos' mannerism and attitude is totally uncalled for, downright rude as he made it such that we take it or leave it. NOT a Marriott standard at all. We told them and even showed Marie the text conversation that their hotel replied in the text on the Marriott app, ” as a Titanium Elite we do have priority for room preference”. Then CARLOS blamed Corporate Marriott Reservations (not their hotel) for those text messages when it is Directly from the hotel. As we air our frustrations, Carlos kept mouthing off, totally annoying adding fuel to the situation. We told him several times to be quiet and go inside as we were dealing with Marie and not him. But he kept standing there and mouthing off and talking back to guests, aggravating the situation even more. How can Marriot and or hotel owners and management allow such behaviors from Front Desk employees to treat Titanium Elite or ANY guests that come to your brand hotels??? Negative hospitality indeed from this hotel. There may seem to be a lack of employees but unfit lousy employees who are not helping but aggravating the situation is so much worst correct?? You just lost your loyal guests and made a bad name for your hotel. Don't forget there are plenty of other hotels with well trained professional staff available in the same city.
