Hotel San Jose dengan Kolam Renang

Decent hotel though a bit old. Very disappointed in the fitness facilities…that beautiful fully equipped gym in the pictures has been gone for 3 years, now it’s slightly more than a broom closet (the colourful gym in the pictures). Had I known I would have stayed elsewhere as many hotels in the area have excellent fitness facilities.

Welcoming, clean, bright, comfortable & relaxed are all words that come to mind when I think of our stay at La Sabana Hotel! We enjoyed the location, being out of the city of San Jose - but close enough to walk into town if we wanted. The La Sabana park is very close & a safe park to explore. There are restaurants & shops a quick walking distance as well. If we make it back to San Jose, my husband and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Hotel first stop of my Costa Rica tour in San Jose. Arrived from airport at night, door man helped me sort out the taxi. Got in and was checked in by friendly staff and was given all the particulars to hotel. Front staff always friendly and helpful. My room was on the 1 level floors, interior is all open interior sort of neat to see. Room was clean and had good AC for cooling. Bed was comfy, bathroom good and clean no issues on that. They have a pool on site and a gym as well and change rooms. I went to pool and had a good swim and lounged around later to dry off. They have a downstairs bar if you want drinks there. I had breakfast over two days there, it was buffet but was quite good, much variety fresh fruits, omlettes etc. Location across from a supermarket and near major park. You can access downtown via uber or taxis if needed, or walk.

My coworker and I stayed here for three nights for a work trip. The property is lush and looks like you are transported a couple hundred years ago but resort is only 35 years old (from Marriott employee Fernando who gives tours of the property). There are two pools and a hot tub surrounded by so much lush vegetation. My initial room was 528 which is a handicap room but was quickly switched to 631 which has a walk-in shower with a glass door. The room had a modern feel with artwork of coffee beans. There was plenty of space at the desk as well as couch area. The breakfast was delicious and the servers were wonderful. Breakfast even starts at 6am, great for work trip. There is also a shuttle that runs on a schedule (see attached photo).

Accueil personnalisé, petit cookie d'accueil, personnel très à l'écoute. Chambre très spacieuse et calme, lit très confortable, pression de la douche ok. Pas de sèche-cheveux dans la chambre. Petit-déjeuner très bien.

Из плюсов в отеле- персонал на ресепшн и большие номера. Завтраки очень скудные. И да, могли бы хоть одну маленькую бутылку воды в номер поставить бесплатно, а то 3 доллара за маленькую это уж слишком!

Gym and swimming pool was amazing however do expect that while the room was big, it was a bit old but I think they are upgrading in process. Located just behind holiday inn which made it easy for pick up/drop off and there’s food choices and a supermarket right outside which was good.

Persekitaran dan kakitangan yang indah, pembinaan yang sedang berjalan di belakang tidak begitu damai kerana mereka mula memalu dan bekerja pada jam 630/7 pagi, jika tidak selalu senang berada di sini! Saya terus kembali!

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Barcelo San Jose this Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Excellent property and very convenient to USC activities. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm.
