Tahanan has a wonderful location with amazing views. Our room was comfortable and quiet and had a beautiful sea view. (And a cute little goat in the garden!) The food is great, with a menu ranging from pizza to to sushi and a good selection of cocktails. The staff was friendly and helpful. We rented a motorbike and the staff gave us great tips on where to go to explore the island. We had an unforgettable time and can't wait to go back!

We want to thank the owner Gri and staff at this lovely hotel! The warmth and welcome we felt was phenomenal, as well as the service. The highlight of the stay was the gorgeous pool and view. We loved beginning and ending each day with a dip and hearing the waves crash as we fell asleep. Magical! The flowers and trees on the property are stunning and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are firm by western standards but being that we are Americans who live in China, we love this for our backs! We ate breakfast every morning and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it is very high quality, tasty food. I especially loved the organic spinach and homemade dumplings, as well as the mapo tofu- YUM! The fresh fruit each day was crisp and delicious and I LOVED drinking coconuts by the pool. Thank you, Cherry! Coffee is for purchase at the restaurant, not in the rooms. The location of the hotel is quite remote, meaning it is peaceful and quiet. I recommend you arrange transportation for excursions in advance each day, or rent a scooter, as waiting for a tricycle can be long. We were told that you can swim and snorkel in front of the hotel but the tide was too low when we tried one day. However, there are snorkels and kayaks for use in the hotel! The hotel is still developing some of the water activities available. The pool is deep enough for diving courses, but check to make sure they are ready, as the gear is still in order as of Oct 2023. There are snorkel and dive spots a short ride away, however, and you can ask for help at the desk to book a tour or connect with a dive shop.

I don’t know anyone that couldn’t love this place! This was our last accommodation on our Philippines backpacking trip – a little treat to finish. We were recommended to visit Siquijor by a local we had met in Puerto Princesa, so we thought, why not! Not only did this become my favourite island, but I believe a huge part of this is because of Infinity Heights. We were super lucky to visit during a quiet period (start of the rainy season), but we’ve created memories here we will never forget. Firstly, we were beautifully greeted by the front of house staff, whom, I promise, will already make your stay so perfect as they made sure our guest experience was the highest it can be. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. If you love dogs, there are a couple of onsite adorable dogs who are very well behaved and respect your space, but also love a cuddle! The room (we stayed in room 10), was outstanding. It was clean, lovely, modern but simple décor, a big balcony with views that honestly took my breath away. For me, it felt like a place I could easily call my home. Speaking of home, the owners live onsite and came over to chat with us. Gary and Christy are the sweetest people, it’s very clear they take a lot of pride in their home and their business. As owners, I feel they tick every box. We’ve felt so cared about and wanted here, and we’ve not come spending money. It’s just been about getting to know each other. They’ve put a lot of hard work into the resort, and you can see through their staff how happy and attentive everyone is who works here. They gave us local insight knowledge and even treated us to a night of music! Christy performed some well-known songs, whilst Gary, my partner and two other guests assisted in the mini band – it’s a night that can’t be explained, as it was an unexpected taste of paradise. We felt 100% happy, content and relaxed, it’s an evening we will always cherish. We stayed after the music finished and continued chatting to Christy and Gary about everyday things and cultural differences. We wanted them to know how good their staff was as well, and they just seemed so heart warmingly proud of the business they have created. The last thing to mention is the views and the pool. JUST WOW. I wish we had more time here (or just lived here). We spent a whole evening in the pool watching the sun set over views that you can’t beat. It was emotionally beautiful, and we both miss this place so much!

Не многолюдно, тихо и спокойно. Нам очень понравилось. Хозяин отеля, просто прекрасный человек, всегда помогал, спрашивал комфортно ли нам. Вкусный ресторан при гостинице. Можно постирать вещи. Очень отзывчивый и трудолюбивый персонал. Спасибо вам огромное за внимание) Можно увидеть черепаху и много интересных рыб. Если будете на этом острове, обязательно посетите этот отель! Бонусом фото сделанные хозяином отеля, когда мы плавали на каяке.

Hotel ini tiada dalam rancangan perjalanan. Ia benar-benar kerana wabak domestik terlalu serius pada masa itu. Lebih daripada sedozen orang dalam keluarga berpendapat bahawa mereka hanya boleh tinggal di rumah untuk pengasingan di rumah. Walau bagaimanapun, saya sangat gembira untuk memilih resort menyelam ini, sebuah keluarga yang terdiri daripada 12 orang telah tinggal di sini selama 8 hari dan sangat berpuas hati. Perkhidmatan hotel sangat baik. Kami menaiki bot dari Pulau Sumilon ke hotel dok di Dumaguete dan menghantar dua kenderaan perniagaan untuk menjemput kami. Mereka juga menghantar kami ke Biro Imigresen Bandar untuk pelanjutan visa. Saya mendengar bahawa hotel itu adalah resort terbaik di Bandar Dumaguete, dan begitu juga. Ia benar-benar terlalu bertanggungjawab. Jurulatih Cina Layla sangat baik dan sabar. Kanak-kanak sangat menyukainya. Penggunaan hotel tidak tinggi. Selepas sijil menyelam, kami sekeluarga menyewa bot menyelam ke Pulau Apo. Ia termasuk semua peralatan dan bayaran pemandu menyelam dan bayaran jurugambar dalam air. Berbanding dengan tempat lain, harganya sangat murah, dan bot menyelam juga sangat profesional, dan kemudahannya sangat baik. Pendek kata, bagi saya yang suka menyelam, hotel ini mungkin perlu pergi lagi pada temasya tersebut.

For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.
