On the outskirts of SLO.. with other hotels. Fair price BUT VERY noisy at night. The air con in the bathroom was on all night next door, and kept me awake. The cheapest coffee machine in the world did not work.. I called the desk at 7:30 AM .. but was told at 7:45 AM ”we don't open until 8AM” OK Bed was comfortable, but the rug rather gross. Good point: We were there on a THURSDAY night, market day in SLO and a free shuttle bus stops across the street.

Room 205 was ready for us on Feb. 17. We had received a great deal on the price so I was prepared thinking it would not be a great place. I was in for a great surprise...everything was totally cleaned including the window sills and bathroom must have been completely redone as everything was shining! We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends. The room is small but who cares as we just needed a place to sleep while we were enjoying the ocean during the day. Did not hear any noise whatsoever.

Bbyudg一間很新的酒店，房間很大床也很舒服。我們住的是一個無障礙房間，衣帽掛鈎，洗漱用品放置的位置都是很低，考慮了殘疾人坐輪椅的高度，淋浴房的花灑很奇葩，打開冷水噴了我一身。酒店有游泳池，但水温度不是很高。
前台的jesse很友好，幫助我們解決外國人在當地要給車充電的問題

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, and it was a great experience. Nestled in a prime location, this inn offers easy access to the best of the area's natural beauty and recreational activities.
Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Waking up to the serene views of the ocean and the calming sound of the waves was a daily highlight. The beach itself is clean and inviting, perfect for both sunbathing and very peaceful at dawn and sunset.The area boasts several scenic hiking trails. We took advantage of these and were rewarded with breathtaking views and the chance to reconnect with nature.
Food options around Spyglass Inn also added to the charm of our stay. We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive.
The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice.

KKashFrom the moment we arrived at the Masterpiece Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room boasted a stunning view, and it was the perfect backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring Morro Bay. The customer support was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always willing to go the extra mile.
Speaking of treats, the breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and the amazing make-your-own waffle station had us fueled up and ready to take on the day. The waffles were truly a highlight - fluffy, crispy, and customizable with an array of toppings. It was a fun and delicious way to start the morning.
Beyond the view, breakfast, and customer service, the overall experience at the Masterpiece Hotel was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable, the public spaces were inviting, and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach. We truly felt we were staying in a masterpiece itself! If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Morro Bay, look no further than the Masterpiece Hotel. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

The room, hmm. Clean but beat up. And broken.
The fireplace did not work. Big bummer. Maintenance got it working, but if we turned it ff, it would not go back on. So, it was a one shot deal. Plus, you never want to have to call in maintenance once you are already in the room. Its just uncomfortable. The window opened on ground level to parking lot two feet from window. One window did not lock at all. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling I have these at home, but don't expect cobwebs at a hotel.
The fan in the bathroom did not work. So it got very stuffy in there and never dried out from shower.
Overall, I would not book here again. there are plenty of other hotel Inns along this stretch of beach, all with the same excellent location.

PPengguna TetamuFirst, I want to say Thumb Up to the manager that actually read this column and corrected the breakfast complaint by getting the HI famous Cinnamon Rolls back to the breakfast menu. Our family of 4 stayed 1 night after visiting Santa Barbara and Solvang. Check in is speedy because we did the online check in. We are assigned to the Chablis building on second floor Room 200 and I actually paid extra to have balcony as this is our first time staying in hotel after the pandemic. For 2 years, we haven’t the confidence to travel and stay in hotel till recently all members in the family are fully vaccinated with my husband and I have our booster shot and the 2 teenagers have at least 2 shots as well as the pandemic seem not to morph into common flu. Spacious room and love that a built in area that one can open the luggage easily and there are built in hanger/hook that we can hang hat, jacket and handbag! I found this feature also in the HI Fisherman Wharf. Front desk person is responsive to needs after entered into room, we needed extra towels and a razor though we didn’t received in the room because delivered to the wrong room and we had to walk back to lobby to get them. I am glad that the front desk communicated to us why the items not delivered. We understand the mistake but we appreciate the communication so we know that the items are delivered except to the wrong room. Might want to send someone to fix the handle of the drawers on the bottom, loose and crooked to the side of pulled. Also, the bath tub handle, the water came out from top and bottom this the water pressure very low coming out from the shower head, this needs fixing. Sorry, we should have told the front desk when we checked out. Love the newly added cinnamon rolls and they have the auto made pancake! Hooray, you bring back one of the most significant features of HI complimentary breakfast! I am not sure I am being greedy to ask for waffles in the future? No need self made, just pre-made a small batch, don’t use the bought from store pre-made as we can taste frozen and fresh from waffle iron. That is if can accommodate as I am waffle rather than pancake eater. Overall, LOVE this property and highly recommend if you are visiting Solvang, Santa Barbara or SLO, stop at this property as the management does seem to care about the comfort of the guests and actually reading this column to see can improve. For this, please support this property if you are around the area visiting and need a place to rest. It is a very nice hotel!

PPengguna TetamuWe only stayed for one night, but the person who checked us in and out was super nice and friendly. We also had accidentally left our watch behind in the room after our check-out and when we went back to pick it up, they had it for us at the front desk.
The rooms themselves were nice. They had only given us one towel though, when the room was booked for two adults. Small detail. The floor was a bit dirty, as when I tried walking barefoot after a shower or in between changing, my feet would pick up dirt. Cleanliness could have been improved. Beds were spring, so they made a bit of noise when you move around on them. And the walls were quite thin, so it was easy to hear folks outside our room. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay for one night for a really cheap rate.

HHunter YorkThe motel is average. Great service was easy to check in and out. Second floor are the best room it as there is a sliding glass door on the bottom floors. Room was modest however the room smelt moist from slow faucet dripping and there was some mold in the bathroom from moisture since there is no fan so that was a downside. Pool and hot tub are excellent. Pool and hot tub are better then most hotels that are much more expensive. Would definitely stay again if we were guaranteed an upstairs room.
