My son was a Stanford transplant patient and this hotel was recommended by the hospital so he would be close after discharge. The staff made sure that my son was comfortable and truly cared about him during our extended stay at the hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and we highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Redwood City but has very good amenities. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is odd that housekeeping service is optional and only on offer every other day at most. Another undesirable holdover of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nice pool and gym facilities on site. The Bistro in the lobby area serves Starbucks coffee, nice breakfasts and quick suppers. The pantry by the front desk has a good variety of snacks & refreshments on offer, though the prices are steep. Staff are friendly and helpful
Unfortunately this was the worst visit that I have had to a Hilton property, especially as a Diamond member. 1st. The bed was the worst that I have had. I had been to this property previously a year ago and complained that the bed was not comfortable. The attendant at the time said that they were scheduled for mattress replacements. Apparently that was not done. I ended up sleeping on the couch that was more comfortable. 2nd. There was water damage to the 2nd and 3rd floors. I understand that there is a need to stay open but there was a true lack of communication and consideration to the patrons or at least to me. I was on the third floor and my room was at the far west of the building. I would pass fans and dehumidifiers to get to my room. They were quite loud and ran all night. The room buffeted some of the sound but it was still present. 5 days into my 10 day stay, the demolition and room rebuild started. The pathway to the elevator was sealed off. There was no notification and no offer to move me to a room that would not have that inconvenience. I had to climb up the stairs two or more times a day. Along with this my room was not serviced as the housekeeping carts could not get past the sealed hallway. The day before I was to leave, there were odorous vapors that were hard to tolerate but was tolerable when I stayed in my room. I didn't want to be moved to another room as I would pack up to leave the next day. I wish that the communication and planning was better. I should not have been placed in the room which would have not put me through this ordeal. I will be letting my corporation know of the extremely poor service that I received at my stay at the SFO Homewood Suites location.

We stayed here after our Alaskan cruise because we had a 7:30 flight the next morning. The room was great, the location was great and the restaurant was good but we weren't that hungry so we had a light dinner and went to bed early. Great little place.
The hotel is beautiful. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and check in was easy. The rooms are really nice with good storage and amenities. The pool is great, heated with towels and sunscreen provided. The staff is wonderful and friendly. We had drinks at the bar, breakfast at Menlo Tavern and sat on the patio during our stay. We enjoyed the whole experience very much and would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
Stayed for 2 nights for our company Christmas Party. We got a one night discounted group rate directly from the hotel. We decided to check in a day earlier and booked the earlier night through a third party site. When I checked in I informed the front desk manager, Renato, about my 2 separate bookings. He took care of it so that I did not have to go back again the following morning to sort things out as I had to do in another hotel when I had 2 consecutive nights but with 2 separate bookings. Our room with 2 beds met our expectations. Very happy with the comfortable beds and pillows. I only wish they upgrade their old televisions to SMART TVs with internet connection. Breakfast buffet for $25 per person was pretty decent. Good value for money in the high priced San Francisco Bay Area. Food served by the hotel’s kitchen to our company Christmas party also met our expectations. I recommend this hotel.
I had a great trip here, the breakfast is delicious, I couldn’t get over how good the biscuits were with the sausage gravy! I could not get enough. And the lady at the front desk really helped me out.
Melancong dengan anak-anak. Jangan cari tempat lain jika anda mampu. Hotel yang sangat mesra kanak-kanak. Kami mengembara dengan bayi dan mereka menyediakan bukan sahaja katil bayi tetapi mainan dan tab mandi bayi. sangat bertimbang rasa.
When we checked in it was 10:00 at night, the kid behind the desk looked half dead. We'd reserved a one-bedroom suite and when we went up to the room that he gave us it was not a one-bedroom suite so we had to haul all of our stuff back down and try again the second room was in fact a sweet and while the bed was made and the towels seemed fresh The kitchen area was a mess there was stuff splattered in the fridge and on the fridge all over the stove and in the microwave, not to mention all over the backsplash and the cutting board hadn't even been washed just flipped upside down so the dirty side was down. It didn't take long to clean the kitchen area, but it shouldn't have had to be done, I get that there are a lot of rooms but if food and unknown substances are splattered all over, there should be a good clean done, and flipping dirty things over so it looks like they are clean is just gross! I thought maybe it was just stained at first so I didn't think too much of it, but I went ahead and ran everything through the dishwasher and it came clean so that tells me it was just left over grossness. Not everyone cleans all the dishes and stuff before they leave a hotel room and unfortunately that does fall to the housekeeping staff. At that point we were just tired and wanted to go to sleep because it had taken us almost 10 hours to drive here. We asked what time breakfast was he told us 7 to 10 on the weekends and 6 to 9 on the weekdays. Not that there seems to be much of a selection they have three kinds of cereal, what looks like reconstituted eggs, a meat option which is usually insanely spicy, a bread selection for toast except they only have grape jelly, and a pancake maker. It's good enough but the time is what gets me, in a week I've only been able to catch breakfast once because every time we would go down about 8:30 with the kid, they're already packing everything away. So I was finally able to talk to the person today and I'm like we were told breakfast is till 9:00 and she says no it's 6:00 to 8:00 on the weekdays, it's 7:00 to 9 on the weekends. So there's that and she literally took pancakes that someone had made that were extra and dumped them in the trash in front of me instead of even offering them to me like hey do you want these since they're already made and instead of throwing them in the trash, but no. I've been here a week and yesterday was the first time we were able to find a staff member to get towels swapped out because our 4-year-old tried to flood the bathroom would he took a bath and all the towels were so wet that they just would not dry out. I am 5'1 and my husband is 6 ft tall, the bed is so tall that it's hard for me to get in and out of because the top of it is at my waist, ends it's basically right at the bottom of my husband's butt. I understand that tall people don't want to have short beds but not everyone is 6 ft tall and it's a little on the tall side even for him. So I'm having to jump in to bed and slide
This hotel seems old upon arrival but is clean, our bed was comfy and the receptionist Jackie was Very sweet! You get the signature warm fresh cookie at check in 😊.There is No shuttle from the port we used Uner. There is a shuttle in the am to the airport beginning at 5:02am and runs until 9am . (There is also an evening shuttle I’m not too sure of the times) on our experience this shuttle was right on schedule! Our only complaint was this hotel is in an industrial park type setting so there are not restaurants in walking distance and breakfast is not included with your stay and the pricing for breakfast in the restaurant/bar in the hotel seemed high (tho we were in Ca)
