Fantastic hotel - lovely rooms (we had the Small Double and it was more than fine for the two of us) and all areas beautifully done.
The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Raul, whose recommendations and advice was invaluable.
Only slight drawback was not having an on-site restaurant but there are so many good places within 5 minutes walk that it really doesn’t matter (again, really good recommendations made!)
Right in the centre of San Pedro (actually behind the church) but felt very safe and secure, and literally a couple of minutes from the shops, market, restaurants and excursion agents.
Breakfast was fine - eggs an option to the buffet; fresh OJ on request and access to coffee etc whenever needed. Towels available for hire for the excursions that involve swimming.
We stayed for 3 lovely days and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for looking after us so well.

First hotel in San Pedro but no Wi-Fi in the room, shower scorching hot and windows don’t stay open. No WATER at the breakfast (???). Very few lunch and dinner options. The staff is not well prepared at all to receive foreigners, except for the manager. The highlights are the location near Caracoles St, the pool and the free “lunch box” they give you for tours that leave before breakfast time.

On the outskirts of San Pedro. They have a coach which will take you and to the town. They have a whatsapp number you can message to book this as well as ask for anything else. The room was lovely. You have to understand in San Pedro that they just do not have high rise buildings and the buildings are simple in design. The hotel was very comfortable. We had a lovely bathroom and an outdoor shower which was a treat! My advice is to enforce a no shoe policy in the room as it will soon get dusty from your shoes if you don't! We had a little outside area which was peaceful and nice to see some nature. The gym is not well equipped - the machines were not plugged in. They only had 2 x 5kg dumbbells. A good chance to do some weights! The pools were nice enough and the hot tub nice but did not have bubbles in the one we went into. They have trips available to book but we did not go on these. Breakfast was ok - an ok selection of items and no a la carte. Our only annoyance was when purchasing a drink from the bar they would not add it on to the room bill and you had to pay for it there and then. It just means we would have been charged a few times for the foreign transaction fee. We have never seen this practice before anywhere else in the world.

Lodge Quelana is the perfect place to stay, a respite just outside of the dusty, tourist filled town of San Pedro. We were so glad to not be staying in the town. We had a car, so it was convenient, but one could take taxis and Ubers. The people working the front desk (that would be you, Paola) and in the breakfast room are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are actually small casitas and very comfortable and well furnished. I especially liked the privacy this afforded and our small private patio. We traveled for almost five weeks in Chile and Argentina, and this was our favorite place that we stayed. The pool is clean and nice. The breakfast is generous and good, a combination of eggs cooked to order and a buffet of baked goods, fruits, yogurt, meat and cheese, and fresh juices made on site. Paola helped us arrange the tickets that were needed to visit some of the sights and suggest options to us. We were reluctant to leave when it was time to head to Patagonia.

O local é extremamente agradável, super bem cuidado e limpo. Quarto bem estruturado, lençóis e toalhas limpas, cama confortável, que parecia nos abraçar para o descanso depois dos passeios. Chuveiro com água quente e fria, idem na pia do banheiro. O café da manhã sempre na hora solicitada, pães quentinhos! Piscina sempre limpa e aberta para uso a qualquer hora. Wi-Fi de boa qualidade. As duas funcionárias muito atenciosas e simpáticas. D. Rosana, responsável pelo espaço, foi muito gentil conosco, permitindo nossa entrada uma hora antes do tempo previsto. A caminhada para a rua Caracoles é em torno de 10 min, mas absolutamente tranquila de ser feita. Há um mercadinho perto do hotel, para pequenas compras e lanches. Não temos do reclamar, só agradecer!

We booked a 4 night stay directly with the hotel. They respond promptly to requests and questions. The hotel is about a 1.5-hour drive from Calama Airport. The staff at this hotel are pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. The check-in/out process was quick and easy. The restaurant has excellent food and service. There is a turn down service. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Wi-Fi connection throughout the property was very good. Desertica gives guests a refillable water bottle. We had access to filtered water in the hotel. The grounds are gorgeous. This property is conveniently located at the edge of the town center within a short walk to shops, stores, and restaurants. We were glad we decided to stay here.

We stayed here for 3 nights following our trip into the salt flats. The rooms are large and comfortable with a covered seating area outside. Large clean bathroom. We had a huge water bottle with tap in the room. Staff were extremely helpful and some spoke English which was so handy as embarrassingly I can't speak Spainish. If you need to pick up a Chilean sim, they sell them in the reception for around $2 US with 1gb of data. It can then be topped up. There is a lovely hot tub which can be booked in 1 1/2 hour sessions. No fridge in our room but there is a communal fridge for all to use. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the centre. It's a flat walk. However if you don't fancy that , don't worry. The hotel provides a free shuttle service, drop off and pick up pretty much all day. You just message on WhatsApp and they pick you up within about 5 to 10 mins. So don't worry about being slightly out of town. We booked a trip to El Tito geysers in the town and there was no issue picking us up from this location. A very relaxing stay with friendly helpful staff who are all the same family. Highly recommended.

乖乖小咪The church of San Pedro Atacama is a monastery with a history of more than 500 years. The color of the entire church building is khaki yellow and looks very old. The interior decoration is very simple, the wooden triangular roof is particularly simple. Maybe this is what the church really looks like, it is worth coming to listen quietly to the chanting.

乖乖小咪Atacama's Andean plateau lake is an area with very large alpine freshwater lakes. The lake here is mainly composed of the surrounding alpine snow, the lake is very calm, it feels like a huge mirror, the surrounding snowy mountains and blue sky and white clouds reflect it, very beautiful.

TTodemmyThe trip takes at least three hours. The park has an uphill road with views of the city, the Valmat Valley (Valle de Marte) and the Atacameñas buildings. At the end of the stretch, there is a space to pay tribute to the beheaded attacker. It is not a place usually provided by travel agencies. I went to the instructions of the hotel manager. Worth a visit. Business hours are 10am to 5pm. I don't know if it will be closed for maintenance. Adult admission costs 3,000 pesos and students can present a discounted card, even if the card is from a school in Brazil.
