Although this is a little far from city center, I really love this hotel vibe. The room is organized and the staff are helpful. And there are a lots of bars and Jaing Kai market around this hotel.

It was a mix experience. The staff were all really nice and helpful. We arrived late but they nicely helped us with the check in. The rooms all clean and the pool is also clean and espacios enough. I would totally book again. Just keep in mind you will be 20 min away from the city center.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at ISTY. It's set in a neighborhood that felt safe to walk around in (though beware that there are no sidewalks in most of Chiang Mai so you have to be careful), and we really enjoyed nearby food stalls each evening as well as a full night market by the north gate. (By the way, there's vegetarian food at the far east side. And there are a couple of vegetarian eateries within walking distance, though I think only during lunch.) The rooms are basic (think shelves but not dressers) but clean and comfortable; beds are Thai style so firm. The co-working/meal area is fabulous, as is the rooftop bar; we spent a lot of time in the outdoor co-working/pool area but either wore long clothes or sprayed against mosquitoes (there were just a few, and an herbal rather than Deet spray was sufficient). The pool is gorgeous but shaded and on the cold side so we mainly looked at it haha. It was getting smoky as February went on (thank goodness for a couple fluke rainstorms that cleared the air for a few days), and there didn't seem to be much air filtration so our eyes were stinging even in our room--but I think that's true elsewhere throughout the region too.

Thank you check in staff for upgraded my room, a Birthday fruits dish and a complementary lunch voucher for 8 days stay, really feel pampered and warm welcome.
This hotel has a nice garden with 2 small fountains on the small pound, and a swimming pool for relaxation. It is a place for attractive scene photography to post on social media.
Room was always neat and clear, provided bottle drink every morning, thank you again the cleaning staff. Every morning wake up, I always look out the spectacular mountain scenery from room window, wow!
i have paid a little token for 8 days buffet breakfast, little changes from routine menu while stay for 8 days, but I do enjoy eating in the peaceful ambience restaurant enjoy the beautiful garden and pool view. For short stay of 2 nights with paid breakfast, you might feel it good.
Lastly, suggest install handrails on stairs for elderly and physical challenged tourists to assist them easier walking up taking lift at Tower rooms.

It was almost a perfect stay with Veranda, overall a very beautiful surroundings, good restaurant, excellent facilities/amenities, warm/courteous and friendly staff, however, with a few exceptions which makes it somehow a less-pleasant farewell. To check out I called the reception and the lady (can’t tell her name but she’s with dental braces) told me that I would need to wait 5 minutes for a electric cart to pick up my luggage (she didn’t even ask for my room number before hanging up), waiting in the scorching sun for almost 15 minutes and I had to call back again and was told there’s no arrangement for me and they will now send someone over to pick me up, it could be the case that the lady might was too busy to arrange pickup for me and hopefully that was not an intentional pick. However now comes the worse part, after checking out I thought it would be easy to call a grab as we have been calling grabs to the hotel multiple times from city to hotel without any problem, but it turns out that due to location of the hotel it’s very difficult to call a grab from hotel to city and normally it’s better to call a taxi instead, we had to turn to the hotel for help to book a taxi and was told it would be almost an hour before we can get a taxi…while I understand it might be rush hour of the day for E-hailing but as part of the hotel service mandates I guess checking out at 12.00 is quite a daily routine for the hotel and there should be sufficient experience to cope with the situation however all we could do was waiting there for a long time before another taxi dropped in and rode us to our next hotel in the city.

PPengguna TetamuReally really loved our stay at Horizon! The minute we pulled into the resort we felt at peace. So much space, so much to see, so much to do. We loved stepping outside of our room and being able to go on long walks or bikerides, kids loved the playgrounds and animals. We loved the three swimming pools, particularly the two with a slide. First three night we spent in a deluxe room I think, which was spacious and great. Then we moved to a standard room which was also very nice, but a bit smaller. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Staff always very friendly. Only downside is that we think the food at the restaurant is just about average. Not bad, but also not very good. But there are a bunch of excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive (Bucoliq, Chill House, Locanda…) or you can order Grab. City of Chiang Mai is about a 15 minute drive away, easy drive, just staright down the road. It was the perfect retreat for us, we never were bored and the kids LOVED it.

PPengguna TetamuStaffs are so kind and this place is so lovely. This place has many facilities that you don’t have to go outside such as great food, massage and spa. That’s will be great for relaxing! If you come to Chiangmai, don’t forget to choose and stay this place. I’m sure that you will impress with this place.

SScott FI hired a buggy and they wanted me to sign an indemnity form that if ANY damage to the buggy I had to pay for ANY damage. I said I’m not signing it under any circumstances, then many bosses appeared and said I can drive buggy, I said no as that’s what I’m paying the caddy for. One of the bosses said you are not a Thai local and then I showed her my Thai drivers license and said I live in Thailand. I’m not sure why she asked that? As they don’t like confrontation nothing was said, I decided to walk, therefore be aware that if you hire a buggy, you have to pay for all damage driving or not driving the buggy. Not a good way to run a golf course. I’ve played other courses in Chiang Mai and Thailand and have never been asked to sign for damage to the buggy. Great course but will never return.
