Hotel terbaik di San Sebastian

Nice new hotel just outside of the city centre of San Sebastian. Hotel is clean, modern and new, with good facilities. But inside a interior design crime. Rooms are small, and with a very weird layout (diagonal bed set up) causing the room to feel even smaller. The Minibar & wardrobe is in the bathroom, which is weird as well. I appreciate the try of the architect, but to me its not working. Breakfast is very good and very cheap (Eur 12,-) Overall a good stay, and I would recommend it.

Escogimos este hotel para nuestra escapada express a Donosti en alojamiento y desayuno y nos ha encantado! La habitación es muy bonita, moderna, bien equipada, las camas COMODISIMAS, una ducha acristalada muy chula, las toallas muy suaves y absorbentes, secador de pelo ”real” (no el tubo ese sin potencia que suelen ofrecer otros hoteles), con un cartelito en el que se indica que si necesitas plancha alosadora, o cualquier ”ameniti” te lo proporcionan en recepción sin coste adicional. El personal super amable, bien comunicado y con un gran parking. El desayuno no demasiado variado pero es muy completo y de gran calidad. El zumo de naranja es recién exprimido de la máquina (no es de polvitos) y el jamón serrano era ibérico. También ofrecían leche de avena, que en pocos sitios la tienen y me pareció un puntazo. La cafetera a pesar de ser de cápsulas ofrece un café muy rico sin ser el ”aguachirri” que te sueles encontrar en los hoteles. Personalmente nos encantó. Nos dejaron dos postales y una nota de bienvenida con una botella de agua .Lo recomendamos y si volvemos a Donosti no dudaremos en repetir.

We booked a Premium Room directly on the hotel’s website (it’s cheaper than comparison websites) and stayed for 1 night. The rate of accommodation in this city is unbelievably expensive, and for close to €200 that we paid, we only got a room, with NO breakfast and NO parking. If we want to park at the private parking lot behind the hotel, we would have to pay another €15 per night, according to the hotel’s website. We were glad we did not, because we were able to find a parking space at the side of the road (plenty of them, depending on the time of the day) outside the hotel. Location of the hotel is outside the busy city, but easily accessible by Bus #28, which stops very regularly at a bus stand not far from the hotel. We will certainly recommend taking the bus and leaving your car, because parking is difficult to find in the city (and may cost you more!) The décor of the hotel’s common area is very elegant. The staff who checked us in were very efficient and knowledgeable about the events happening in the city during the busiest day of the year (we arrived on 15 August – the Virgin’s Day). Our Premium Room is spacious and clean, the décor is simple and modern. All amenities worked well. There’s a kettle, mini fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean, the hot shower functioned well, and basic toiletries were provided for. We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel, despite its location being outside the city. The bus is so very convenient to take.

We were having a fantastic vacation along the North of Spain (Oviedo, Gijón, Llanes, Santander, Bilbao) until we got to the Mercure Monte Igueldo. We had a problem with a double booking that we were not aware of. And even it this was not the fault of the hotel in principle, the harsh, unfriendly managing of the situation with different points of views and versions from different managers and receptionists at finding the booking -- some promising to find out it they had received the money and let us know after the holiday period, then changing their decision to finally charge us again without informing us first (”the direction has decided to charge you” they told us on the phone after having left the hotel) gave us such stress that we left with great tension and sadness. Needless to say, they forgot to contact us as promised to confirm whether they had already received the money for the double reservation or not, as needless to say that we would like to forget to have chosen this hotel or do it again in business or privately.

Hotel nuevo, bien ambientado y con habitaciones amplias y elementos de calidad. Como sugerencia, el poner unas almohadas más firmes. Si volvemos a Donosti, seguro que repetimos!

My husband and I spent 3 nights in this lovely boutique hotel in San Sebastian. It is very centrally located - only a short walk from the old town and the beach. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful and gave us some really good restaurant recommendations. The rooms are lovely and very well serviced. The self service breakfast was very extensive and the servers were so friendly. I would really recommend this hotel as a place to stay in San Sebastion and we would certainly stay there again.

Excellent hotel! Very large room for 3 of us. Shower was amazing along with the large bathroom layout. Breakfast was just perfect and staff are lovely. The hotel location was very good a 15/ 20 min stroll to the old town. The exterior of the hotel is underwhelming but once inside it is spacious and immaculately clean. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is located about 15-20 min walk to the center of San Sebastian. Staff are kind and extremely helpful. Cleanliness was good. Restaurant was surprisingly very good in the lobby. stayed there for 5nights and 6 days was well worth it. The price was quite expensive for what i paid but it was during the film festival so was well worth it. would certainly stay here on my way back to San Sebastian Wonderful knowledgeable staff who are genuinely helpful

I loved it here! The whole place had such a nice vibe! Super friendly staff, great location, fabulous lively bar and coffee shop downstairs! The rooms were cosy, clean, and very comfortable…..especially the pillows!! The shower/bathroom is a little small and the opaque glass could do with being a little more opaque! But these are minor details rather than problems. We are regular hotel users, and would stay here again and again with no hesitation!
