Really enjoyed my stay at the Gateway Retreat, Sanchi. The staff helped arrange a trip to the Udaygiri Caves, and the location of the hotel means you are not far from the Sanchi Stupas. The bar is cosy with fun decor. I love that I could see langurs and a great variety of birdlife at the hotel gardens. I had an early evening train and was kindly given a late check-out. Thanks to all the team for a great stay.

Property is beautifully maintained with ample parking lush green gardens and play area. IT'S PROBABLY Best place to sstaying you are visiting Sanchi in budget price even for food also because there are very few options for proper dinein in Sanchi. Service is awesome. I visited propert twice there restaurant was open and enjoyed a lot next time it was close and open air buffet was offered may be under renovation . What I didn't like was rooms air conditioning and maintenence that is something they need to look into.

Overall the rooms were quite damp and smelly. There was a plumbing problem in every bathroom which caused a lot of inconvenience. Please have more variety in the food. Ask your waiters to write down orders and be aware of what is available. The people at the reception were kind and tried to solve these issues but there wasn’t much they could do. Overall the hotel needs a revamp. Given our wonderful previous experiences at other mp t properties, our expectations were not quite met by gateway retreat.

It was a nice stay. Staff is cooperative and well behaved. Property is beautiful and food is tasty. Rooms need maintenance. There was seepage and acs were noisy.

The room smelled horrible the. Property was not well kept ac didn’t work well and the washrooms were filthy and unclean in all can’t stay there again. i stayed for a night but there was even a hair on the bad all the furniture was stale and was not good at all

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel staff was very prompt in service. It was neat and clean. Food was good. Service was good. Room was comfortable and clean. Hygiene was being maintained. Overall a very very happy stay

The room was quite spacious but unfortunately the area was not maintained in the hotel. The swimming pool was not cleaned and moreover the washrooms were not hygienic. The service was lethargic and limited options were available in the bar and moreover the food was okayish.
