Fengzi, our South African architect and designer, went thru lots of efforts to work together with our local ingenious carpenters. And he taught our local staff to cook some western breakfast. Response from Property: Thank you for your lovely comments. The Lost World Guesthouse are old building over 100 years that were homes of local villagers. They moved out to nearby place and put up brick houses and we rushed in to save these houses from becoming fire wood. Old wood from other pulled down houses were also used to fortify the floors and walls and also to improve insulation. The architect is from South Africa and passionate about saving old houses. Glad you ventured out this far to Lost World Sanjiang. And thank you for your explation of your expectation of food. We are flexible with catering and ready to meet different requests. Because the homestay is in the village, the neighbors on both sides are the neighbors in the village, and we really have no way to know their renovation plans in advance. The villagers here go to bed after 9 pm unless it is their holiday, and get up early in the morning, getting up around 7 o'clock to work in the fields. If there is decoration, it will start around 7-8 o'clock; I asked the housekeepers about the hygiene situation and found that some cups have scale, which is our problem and we have started to solve this problem; in addition, the bright tiles on the roof, although there are wooden bars that can be closed, our housekeeper did not tell you, which is our failure. Lost World is located in Ma'an village of Chengyang Eight Village park, a quiet village with easy access to the shopping street and Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge. Rooms & beds are comfortable and clean with good facilities. But booking with this website does not come with breakfast.
