Hotel berhampiran Deutsches Phonomuseum, Sankt Georgen Im Schwarzwald

Siamo stati in questo hotel per 3 notti per un tour di gruppo nella foresta nera, abbiamo alloggiato qui e di giorno ci siamo spostati su più tappe. Leggermente decentrato, ma comunque vicino a diversi supermercati. Stanze pulite e abbastanza moderne. Colazione essenziale e senza eccessi....ma si poteva dare di più. Note dolenti? Parto con l elenco: 1. Personale reception scortese e poco disponibile (ho chiesto un cuscino in più e mi hanno risposto che nn ne avevano 🙄..... ; mi hanno dato un telo doccia in più e il giorno dopo se lo sono ripreso sostenendo che gli asciugamani dovevano essere 2+2 per ogni camera e non di più.....mah . Valli a capire!!!!); 2. Ad ogni eventuale richiesta nn mi sono appuntata quante volte hanno sbuffato e alzato gli occhi al cielo; 3. Questa è una vera chicca....mio marito è sceso per la colazione alle 8,10 e gli è stato detto che per il gruppo la colazione veniva servita dalle 6,30 alle 8,00 e non più tardi ....N.B gli orari per la colazione erano dalle 6.30 alle 10,00.....QUINDI??? PERCHE' QUESTA DIFFERENZA????? AMICI DIMENTICATE CHE I LAGER SONO STATI CHIUSI..... poi abbiamo scoperto che la colazione dalle 8,00 in poi si arricchiva con più alimenti.....CHE SCHIFO!!! Comunque scortesi e poco disponibili... non ci tornerei....

We visited the garden restaurant after a walk to the waterfall for coffee and cake. The garden restaurant is situated at the bottom of some steps and was pleasant. The waitress was initially friendly and as it was a very hot day we ordered black forest gateau and iced cappuccinos each, as thought they would be nice and refreshing. When the iced coffees arrived they were quite small in the glass (only about half full) - see photo before we tasted anything- and when my wife had a sip she realised it wasn't cold but was luke warm. I asked the waitress if we could have an icecube to cool it down but was told no, she didn't have any ice cubes (bear in mind this is a hotel!). We think maybe she just didn't want to walk upstairs to get any. Obviously the coffees were pretty undrinkable (they seemed to have been made with a hot coffee shot and room temperature milk). My wife had about 1cm of hers and I had less of mine. When we came to bill the coffees had been included even though there was obviously something wrong with them (as I had pointed out to the waitress when I asked for the ice cube). We questioned about the coffees and explained that they weren't iced coffees but tepid coffees. However the waitress just repeated that if we ordered them we have to pay for them. My wife hates any fuss so I reluctantly paid even though we couldnt drink them. The waitress had three opportunities to put the situation right after they sold something they obviously were unable to provide 1) provide an ice cube to cool down the drinks when we asked 2) noted that we weren't drinking the coffees and offer us a replacement 3) remove them from the bill. 3 wasted opportunities to do the right thing. We had been in Germany for 6 weeks up until then and had really positive experiences, unfortunately this happened on our last day and it isn't the image we want to take away. The black forest gateau was OK but I'm sure there are much better establishments in Triberg. I would love to hear back from the manager of this establishment.

Unbelievable!! We visited with extended family and this cafe just spoiled the whole black forest experience for us. The cafe staff refused to look at us when spoken to about the black forest cake, (asked 2 ladies) repeatedly didn't attend when we said we wanted black forest. To the point that both ladies were ready to serve many other who kept coming after us and 7 of us standing there waiting. Can't believe even now that at this age some people can be so openly ill mannered. All of us there felt like the woman were being ****** but would still give some benefit of doubt that probably they were having bad day or don't have good manner and our family was in receiving end. Our 5 year old was very disappointed about nobody serving us cake, won't forget the way you treated us. Hope some sense prevails and you treats others well.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Gasthof Ochsen. Empfang sehr freundlich, Zimmer werden gezeigt mit dem Hinweis, dass man Wasser jeder Art gratis aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen kann. Finde ich bemerkenswert. Andernorts wird hierfür gerne und viel Geld genommen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ausreichend groß. Dusche sehr gut mit tollen Handtüchern. Das Abendessen einfache, aber gute Küche. Portionen auch bei großem Hunger ausreichend und angemessen bepreist. Zum Frühstück gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt. Am Buffet keine Selbstbedienung, sondern es wird alles vom Chef auf einem Teller gereicht. Finde ich toll und auch sehr hygienisch. Das gesamte Personal und die Inhaber sehr freundlich. Wir wurden freundlich über die Geschichte des Ochsen informiert und es wurden nette Vorschläge für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gemacht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder. Einziges Manko - was aber vorkommen kann - eine Leuchte der indirekten Beleuchtung war defekt und das Flackern der Leuchte war etwas nervig.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön in mitten des Schwarzwalds. Wenn man die Ruhe und gute Luft sucht ist man hier absolut richtig. Die Zimmer sind mit Balkon ausgestattet, so dass man hier schon ein paar Tage verbringen kann. Klar, alles mir dem Charme von früher. Ein schöner Spa Bereich inclusive eine Pool tragen sehr zum Wohlbefinden bei. Parkplätze gibt es genug direkt am Hotel. Etwas störend waren am Sonntagmorgen schon um. 7 Uhr die Geräusche aus dem Schwimmbad, daher, als Tipp, nicht das Zimmer direkt über dem Schwimmbad nahmen. Ein Highlight ist das tolle Frühstück, leider nur bis 10 Uhr. Wir kommen gerne wieder,
