Insotel Club Tarida Playa

This is a beautiful little hotel with wonderful staff! Notably Jess and Katy on reception and the Hotel Manager Sonia. All staff were really friendly, especially on the bar! We we're here for our wedding, 38 of us in total and they were extremely accommodating with all of us. Allowing us all to book into the beautiful little restaurant that's part of the hotel on the beach together as a group. The rooms in the main building are clean, large and the beds are comfortable. The food was brilliant! Always good options, fresh and plentiful. Branded spirits on the bar were a HUGE plus! Pool area is nice and well maintained. Pool was very cold though! Location is very quiet. No shops locally. Everything is around a 10min walk up hill away. Cala Tarida beach is STUNNING! And the hotel is right on it! Few bars and restaurants to choose from too. Would 100% recommend if your looking for a quiet holiday and will definitely return.

Upon arriving at the hotel we weren’t impressed with the room allocation. It was at the rear of the main hotel (orange building) and had a noisy plant room / laundry room on the go outside all of the time which can be heard from most of the rear wing of the hotel. They should get an acoustic plant screen or wall installed. The room, which was a family room, was really basic and had bad drain smells. The second day was blighted with a stomach bug. I had gone for the burger which was a bit pink but thinking it was a medium rare bit of beef thought nothing of it but it was actually a ‘mixed meat burger’ cooked from frozen. The third day we had mosquito bites which became infected but luckily there is a pharmacy just a walk up the beach. After a bumpy start the holiday did get better. Despite the initial stomach bug the food quality and selection is better than other places we have stayed and the waiting staff are really friendly. The evening entertainment is also decent. We saw an oriental daredevil acrobatic act and a rock duo. The play park is small but nice. The glasses provided are small so you can’t actually get a pint of beer and it’s Estrella only. The wine is red, rose and white and is box quality rather than bottle. The beach bar is decent but the cocktails are pre-mixed from a machine. We did a few excursions and it was good to get out of the hotel which put a more positive spin on the holiday and helped us to turn a leaf after a bad start. We nosed around the Tui Blue Hotel next door. The difference is noticeable. For example we helped ourselves to the orange juice in the reception which was fresh, compared with the orange juice in our hotel which was more like a squash. Wish we had gone for the other hotel with its private pools, sprawling externals, apartments and lively nights. The hotel is conveniently located next to the beach and you can get a good view of the sunset. However the beach isn’t the best, there are bits of plastic in the sand and a number of African hawkers. It’s also fairly busy. I think the hotel is more of a 3* certainly not 4*

This was our 3rd holiday at this hotel & we really enjoyed it. The hotel is located right by a lovely beach in a small bay. The sea here is generally calm enough for swimming & for kids to play in. The beach can get busy but there was always room for us to find a spot to sit & dry off in the sun after swimming. We stayed in one of the apartments in the annex – this faces west & the views of the sunsets are spectacular. They are also very close to the beach. Last year we couldn’t get an apartment so we stayed in the main part of the hotel & we definitely prefer the apartments. Downside to the apartments is that some nights the entertainment in the hotel next door is very loud but it doesn't go on too late. In theory you can self-cater in the apartments but they are not particularly well equipped. We were All Inclusive – the food for all 3 meals was plentiful & of good quality. Some of the hot choices for the evening meal weren’t things that we would eat but there was always something we could enjoy. The pool bar offers snacks & ice cream. This year they had serve yourself soft ice cream machines in the restaurant & at the pool bar. All the staff are very friendly & helpful. The restaurant isn’t overly big for the size of the hotel & relies a lot on the outside part being usable – we had rain a couple of times & then everyone wanted to eat inside – the staff did a really good job of clearing tables & getting them ready to be used again. The cleaning staff do an excellent job of keeping both the rooms & the public areas clean. When we arrived we were the only people checking in – Katie did an excellent job but the amount of paperwork she had to complete was ridiculous. We had to pay a tax – this involved 3 pieces of A4 paper plus 3 credit card receipts. One copy of each was for us but the other 2 were both for the hotel – why do they need 2? Then we wanted the safe key & needed to pay a deposit – another 3 pieces of A4 paper & 3 credit card receipts. If you want a pool towel there is a 20 euro deposit per towel – another 3 pieces of A4 paper & 3 credit card receipts. It was a good job there wasn’t a queue to check-in! Apparently the reason that they prefer a credit card for deposits is that it is easy to do the refund – refunding to a debit card is much more difficult. If you are looking for a good hotel in a quieter part of the island then this is an excellent choice – I would definitely recommend it.

This is our second stay and it has been a wonderful one. Very relaxed and comfortable. The food has been fresh and varied on a daily basis. We have been well looked after by beautiful Francizca in the restaurant, greeting us every day with warm open arms. The hotel is located just a few steps from the sandy beach, a perfect location. We can’t wait to come back to Ibiza.

Nice and clean hotel. Good staff from Hotel, very kindly and helpfull! Excellent location @ Cala Tarida Grand buffet 3x a day! Nice restaurant @ the beach with excellent service! One tip: use a magic (white) for the boarder (waterline) to clean the pool weekly…

The cleanest hotel and the most friendly staff. The food was varied and really yummy! The pool was lovely, not too cold like some others. All you can eat ice cream and help yourself to water, tea and coffee! The grounds are kept maintained to a high standard. Overall a fantastic family summer holiday! Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday so special :)
