Situated remotely outside of Santa Fe, the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado is, at the risk of using an overused word, an oasis. The property is not a hotel, rather guests stay in casitas situated throughout the wonderful resort grounds. The casitas are lovely and provide guests with a sense of privacy that is not often possible in a traditional hotel. Beautiful properties can be found in many places, but as you would expect, separating the Four Seasons from other beautiful properties is a team that is absolutely and steadfastly committed to the guest experience. We had some issues with our room during our stay that would have normally negatively shaped my perspective of a property, but after bringing these issues to the attention of the team, they demonstrated a commitment to not letting those issues ruin my family's stay. They addressed the issue with the room to the best of their ability and then went above and beyond to make sure we left our stay with a sense of joy. Candidly, I don't believe I've ever seen this level of commitment to guest happiness. To go into specific detail about all of the efforts the team made would make this review way too long, but suffice it say that the team redefines what it means to provide an outstanding guest experience. As to the specifics of the property, Terra is a wonderful restaurant, the attached bar is lively yet comfortable, and the fitness center and pool are terrific. Try to look for offers that include food and beverage credits, because off-site dining options entail a decently long drive.
