What a gem of a hotel…. Castle above Santa Margherita, a little long walk from the marina but worth it! If you have a car it’s a tight drive up but you can do it! Rooms 26-27-28 have real good views, 38 has the best view. You can also walk to the top of the torrent for a phenomenal view of the bay. Nice breakfast, excellent service from everyone we encountered…. If you want to stay somewhere different this is the place for you!

Lovely hotel, beautiful location. We really liked this charming hotel and a lovely old building perched above the town. If you want a replica kit of a modern hotel then this isn’t it, but if you want a comfortable old shoe of a hotel this is most certainly a great choice. We had a room at the side of the hotel looking out over onto the lemon and olive trees if the gardens, and we liked this so much we took photos of it. The room (there are 14 in total) was of a good size, nice bathroom, and the shutters did a great job to ensure a peaceful nights sleep. Hotel staff were very helpful alright and let us leave our bags before we caught an evening flight. It was a very chilled, welcoming place. The hotel is only about 10/15 minutes into the town area, and the last few yards were a bit steep - amusing in the Italian heat but hardly a deal breaker. We walked to and from the rail station which wasn’t an issue either. SML is a nice little town, much better and nicer than Portofino in my opinion as real people still live there. The 786 bus will take you the fashionista haven should you wish.

Wow .what a first impression lovely hotel and very dramatic once you are inside with a large stone stair case ,very medival ,what a wonderful building . The rooms are very nice and spacious with a lovely view if you are on a high floor. Nice continental breakfast. 10 minute walk down to the town with lots of restaurants. Word of warning the driveway off the road upto reception is tight and very steep but there is some parking at the bottom and halfway up .. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I booked a double room for a night and apart from the bathroom nothing else was good. We did get there a bit early but had to wait at least half an hour after the check in time to get the keys, because room wasn't ready. The room had two single beds with two flimsy mattresses put together instead of a double bed. Beds kept going apart all the time and they were very uncomfortable. TV didn't work at all. They also charge €15 a day for parking, which is ridiculous. I wouldn't go again.

Located a little on the heights of Santa Margherita, But still very close to the center , Only ten minute walk into the town. We stayed one night and this is a nice place.... simple room Top breakfast

El hotel es hermoso por fuera porque es un castillo y la vista es espectacular. El dueño (Piero), Alessandra (recepción) y las camareras muy amables. El Desayuno estaba bien. Me dieron una habitación que parecía la de la empleada del servicio. Supuestamente porque era más económica e individual. Que era Auxiliar o Dependant (términos que no conocía) que significan que está por fuera del edificio; sin embargo junto a mi habitación tenía una en el mismo espacio y era limpia. La nevera desconectada olía a podrido y el clóset a guardado. Todo Era de una mezcla de colores que nada combinaba con nada, ni las baldosas ni las cortinas ni nada. La ubicación del hotel es complicada porque aunque son pocos kilómetros al puerto, y 13 minutos , es en una loma que hace desgastante subir y bajar para visitar los sitios de interés. Dentro del mismo hotel es horrible también para subir y bajar de la habitación a la recepción o al restaurante. Lo tomé porque en su momento no encontraba nada adecuado pero Jamás repetiría ni lo recomiendo . Pedí cambio de habitación Y me dijeron que no había más. Ver las fotos es la prueba de lo horrible

Bien situé , tout à pieds l endroit est désué, le jardin en manque d'entretien surtout sur l arrière de l hôtel Accueil agréable, disponible. Chambre correcte. La parking en hauteur très compliqué à atteindre pour les voitures basses, pente très raide. Petit déjeuner très correcte.

Location bellissima, prezzo ottimo rispetto i servizi offerti. Parcheggio hotel (in salita!) comodo anche se a pagamento, ma il personale è stato molto disponibile con i tempi del checkout. Personale accogliente, camera e bagno puliti.
