Dreamer Santa Marta

This was such a great experience, I've traveled lots over the years, but this was my first stay in Columbia. I would totally come back here anytime! I feel it's the staff is what really makes any place amazing! Hernan the bartender is really friendly, educated me on the different Columbian beverages, he's also great at karaoke! Christina at the reception was really helpful and questions I had she was happy to help me. If I had a question or a problem she was always there to help with a big smile that I will never forget! Maria is also amazing she took us on a sunset tour in town, she organized a fun Karaoke night and on the weekend she took us out for pub night it was so much fun and I feel so safe! Good energy, happy vibes, people are nice, food is good the place is clean... in beauty Columbia what more do you want?

The dorms are clean and cold. The pool is big and clean. Plenty of entertainment like pool or ping pong available. All the staff were super friendly and the food was surprisingly good and cheap! I went in the off-season so it was a little quiet but except for that perfect.

Had a fantastic time in a fantastic hostel with so much atmosphere. Piqpe the bar tender was fantastic and an excellent host! We felt at home here and the people who were at the hostel were all so welcoming and friendly! Really reccomend a visit!

The welcome tour was great and staffs are kind and honest.It has pool and rooms are clean.The reception staff has great knowledge and was really helpful in explaining all my queries.The environement is all smooth and pleasant.I highly recommend if u r staying at santa marta

As a solo female traveler, i felt so safe, cared for and comfortable the entire time. I stayed at the 4 bed all female room, which was very spacious and clean, and the bed itself was very comfortable. The whole hostel was so incredibly beautiful, there were plenty of hammocks to lay in and soak up the sun, and great amenities offered like towels, drinking water and free coffee in the morning. The most notable thing about this place is the great service you get, the reception staff Gabriel and Constanza knew just about everything about anything, and they were a great resource for myself who was new to the town and needed help getting around. The host Maria was also the life of the party and really got the guests mingling and having fun :). Housekeeping also went the extra mile with me and allowed me to do my laundry last minute when i came back from a 4 day hike and had absolutely no clean clothes. Honestly the best service i've ever gotten anywhere. The one thing that made me nervous about booking here was that it was far from downtown Santa Marta, but even that didn't end up being a problem! I was in a very safe neighborhood, and getting to downtown is only 2.500 mil pesos and 15 minutes on the bus. Very much recommended hostel.

Nice staff - nice people staying and mainly a very positive social atmosphere. No party hostal, but more like playing games and speak with each other (or sleep early if you like). An extra thanks to Sahian - who helped me to improve mi Español a lot! Mucho gracias! Last but not least, the food they serve in their restaurant is above level of any hostal I vist in a long time - especially the price quality..

I really like this hostel!! The food is unreal and the drinks are fire!! The staff are helpful, they’ve got all the activities and a tv room which a treat!! Activities every day and night if you want means it’s really social but can also be super chill if you want. Best hostel in Santa Marta. Also air con and fans all over

I’ve stayed at The Dreamer several times now and I’ve had a great experience each time. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming but Hernan is especially attentive. Not only does he make amazing drinks behind the bar, he is more than happy to help you with anything you need and always does so with a smile on his face. I would definitely recommend The Dreamer to other travellers.

Dreamer is a great hostel with lovely staff and a lively atmosphere. I liked that the hostel arranged taxis for us so we could easily get to the beach and nearby towns easily. The hostel is also in a great location being a 10 min taxi from the centre and nearby beaches.
