The price is best for a hotel stay with a kitchen and full size fridge. The staff has changed and they have made large efforts to be more particular about those they allow to stay on the premises. Quiet nights. Everything in the room works and upon arrival and it is clean. Clean towels and toiletries available everyday. Free wifi and it works well. The shopping is near, just over the freeway. I save on time and gas traveling to the stores. Plenty of places near to order in if you choose. The water is clean. It never smells like smoke in the rooms. Smokers have to smoke away from the building. They are pet friendly. My car is safe, there are cameras in the parking lot and the office.

Room and linens/towels were immaculately clean. Love that the room had NO carpet - laminate floors in the whole room. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Had no issues with anything - everything worked and was in good order. As others in previous reviews have said, sound travels into the room very easily from the hallway - but it didn't bother us as we weren't in the room much and are heavy sleepers. Our room door had seen better days and could stand to be replaced, but nothing about it affected my opinion of the room/property. Front desk staff for afternoon check-in was polite and accommodating. Morning check-out staff was friendly and personable. As with other Choice hotels, there is a free hot breakfast. Here is where the hotel could improve - the selection/choices were very slim (one pan of eggs, one pan of sausage links, a waffle machine, one carafe each of leaded and decaf coffee, a paltry selection of bread/baked items, 2 sugary cereal options, one type of milk only, and sugar/sweeter/creamer packets). This was the first Choice hotel I've stayed in that didn't at least have fruit, yogurt, hot cereal, or liquid creamer of some kind. There also wasn't anyone attending the dining area to ensure guests had what they needed and items did not run out. The location was just fine for us; easy on/off the 101 freeway. If you are a Choice Gold or above member, there are designated spaces for you. Parking was fine and plenty of space in the lot. Overall, great stay and would consider staying again if we travel to Santa Rosa in the future.

What very comfortable, friendly, staff, and accommodating. They have a pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and steam room. One of the things I found unusual and surprising was that they sold the items for gas, such as snacks and allergy medication at a reasonable price. No price gouging! When I asked about this, apparently it’s some thing that the staff at fault for. Definitely coming back… For more comfortable and appealing to the Doubletree. Highly recommended that you visit Hana the Japanese restaurant and Mary’s pizza. Delicious!

Traveling on a stay-cation in NorCal and stayed at 3 IGH properties in a row. I have the other two to compare but I also am a prof. meeting planner and stay at a ton of hotels. I even inspect them for a living, so my perspective is with a critical eye. The entrance is a bit tricky even though I arrived after dark, making any signage even less effective. Once in the open-air parking garage, there was no ”Entrance” sign over the doors nor an exterior logo'd rug. There is a foyer with the ONLY hand sanitizer station that I was able to find! Morgan greeted us at the front desk and was a real delight and he alone made this stay worthy of the 3 stars! Here are my observations upon arrival: *Of the 4 pendant lights over the front desk, 3 worked *The small marketplace was out of bottled water - NONE in the entire hotel! *No dining option and ONLY coffee to go in the morning; NO danish, fruit or granola bars to be found! *Morgan was working alone with a 63% occupancy, There are 4 floors. My room was on the 3rd with a view of a goat farm. It was a quiet room however; the mattress was quite soft and mushy. Upon unpacking, we found the following problems: *A dirty bath towel and a used face mask in the closet floor. *The safe was locked, we were provided the ”master” code to unlock it! *No washcloths *Used bath amenities Causing me to realize that no Covid-19 protocol is being adhered too. My opinion is the owner is micro-managing this property and placing profits over his franchise obligations! This is a Holiday Inn, not a Holiday Inn Express, so the expectations of a full-service property were warranted.

Stayed here one night after going to the Charles Schultz Museum. We were warmly welcomed and given room 320, a very quiet room with two queen beds. Linens and towels were very nice. Lighting very good in bathroom. Breakfast had good selections. Bed is high for me and I would have liked the room darker. The microwave light was bright! Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

This instantly became our favorite place in Calistoga (Sorry, Indian Springs!). (My wife claims she wants to move here.) Dog-friendly, though targeted to smaller dogs. I was sure this place was built in the 30's and later upgraded, but no, it was built in the 90's by a clever architect. Individual cottages are strewn through palm trees. A few of the cottages have mini-gardens with outdoor chairs, which I would reserve when I return. Great beds and the rooms have coffeemakers and a mini-fridge (and wine glasses!) Luxurious linens and a great soaking tub. A continental breakfast is included, but it's certainly worth checking out Sam's General Store which is across the street, and is a coffee house with a number of breakfast items, and a 10% discount for Cottage Grove guests. The Inn is downtown, so easy walking to a number of excellent eating places.

My stay at the Glen Ellen Inn was invigorating and reviving and much needed after a very hard week at work. I won't go into the work details, but the Glen Ellen Inn was the perfect respite. The room was beautiful, well decorated and cozy (in a large warm, comfy, relaxing kind of way), and clean. You could tell such great love was put into the little details to give us a heart felt experience. Our room overlooked Sonoma Creek and a cute little stone bridge. We had a beautiful private garden that allowed us some time in nature and we were able to enjoy a glass of wine and reflect on our day out. We also had a beautiful in room spa that comforted us after our long cold morning of Zip Lining at Sonoma Zip lining Adventures (amazing experience ask for Brady and Kirsten they were awesome). The bed and pillows welcomed us and we slept so peacefully. The inn is perfectly situated in the town of Glen Ellen, a place I'd never heard of and honestly thought would not be the highlight of our visit given Sonoma is minutes away, but it was a place that dazzled us in so many ways and we ended up spending most of our time there. Home to Jack London, we visited a few amazing places including the Jack London Saloon and Lodge, the Michelin star restaurant called the Glen Ellen Star (It was literally next door to the Glen Ellen Inn), Garden Court Cafe, Sonoma Zip-lining Adventures (about 50 minutes away), Yeti Restaurant (Indian Food), Les Pascals Patisserie and Boulangerie, Tips Roadside for brunch (Kenwood), Walt wine tasting room (Sonoma Plaza, partner to Hall winery in St. Helena), Sonoma Mission, Harvey's Donut Bar (Sonoma Plaza), Prohibition Spirits Distillery (Sonoma Plaza), and Murthy's Irish Pub (Sonoma Plaza)....because you have to visit an Irish Pub wherever you go;). I honestly couldn't thank Karen and Chris more and I am looking forward to coming back and enjoying their cottages and Bar once it reopens. I came for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Very clean room and there are free coffee and tea whole day at the lobby. Also there is gym room and laundry room as well. I love the pool there even though it was quite cold these past two days. I love the breakfast as well. Lastly, it was closed to Petaluma outlet and it was nice this morning to go shopping.
