Hotel berhampiran Centro Comercial Clavero, Santiago

4,5/5,00 O Best Western Estacíon Central é um ótimo hotel. Ele possui quartos amplos e é bem confortável. O café da manhã é servido até às 10h e é bem farto, conta com variedades de frutas, cereais, pães, frios, ovos e linguiça. Os funcionários são bem receptivos e atenciosos. Eles disponibilizam uma marmitinha de café da manhã (sache de café, chá,fruta, sanduíche, iogurte) para que você possa levar no dia dos passeios, basta solicitar até as 21h na recepção. A região realmente não é boa mas o hotel conta com seguranças a disposição caso precise esperar algum uber ou taxi do lado de fora. Foi bem tranquilo pedir carros de aplicativo tanto durante o dia quanto durante a noite. Próximo ao hotel há uma estação da Turbus (estação alameda) e tem um metrô do outro lado da rua

El hotel es muy bonito y tranquilo. El personal es increíble y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Destacó sobre todo la amabilidad y atención de Eduardo. El restaurante es un imperdible ya que la comida está bien hecha y el desayuno vale la pena.

Gran ubicación en una zona muy linda y agradable, con centros comerciales y una parada de metro cercana. La habitación moderna y cómoda, con un baño equipado con productos de buena calidad. El personal muy amable, incluso nos regalaron 2 tragos de cortesía al llegar. El desayuno muy bueno y completo. Absolutamente nada para criticar, muy recomendable.

The hotel is clean and located in the heart of Santiago. The staff are amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There are bus and train stops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Water, beer, wine and snacks are conveniently available for purchase in the lobby any time of the day or night. The hotel is still ramping up its operations to become more “full service” so some services, such as an in-house laundry service, are not yet available. The pool/bar area is beautiful and makes for a great place to hang out. Compared to a four star hotel in Chicago, some may find the interior a bit lacking, but my family and I really liked it.

It’s still 15 min drive from the airport and shuttle needs to be booked 48 hours ahead. We did NOT know as did not check the hotel WhatsApp profile picture that says so in Spanish… but they did provide us shuttle transfer for free the next morning upon our request at check-in. Recentemente fiquei hospedada com a família neste hotel durante 6 dias, o hotel tem uma localização boa fica em torno de 20 minutos de carro dos principais pontos turísticos e do aeroporto, café da manha bom e camas confortáveis. Porém o que deixou a desejar é falta de poder controlar o ar condicionado, de madrugada fazia 10 graus e o hotel não tinha aquecedor pois só no inverno que há aquecedor nos quartos, passamos muito frio a noite, por mais que o hotel tenha fornecido cobertores. Outra coisa que também foi que não conseguimos utilizar o cofre, tentaram arrumar o cofre, mas sem sucesso. A piscina só pode ser utilizada se estiver utilizando uma touca de natação o qual é vendido no hotel, achei estranho, pois já me hospedei em muitos hotéis e nunca vi solicitarem isso. Fora isso os quartos são confortáveis e limpos, ocorreu tudo bem!

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. Hotel located on the main avenue in Santiago. Close to subways, centre of government, museums, restaurants and parks. The hotel and our room are decorated with dark wood. Room unexpectedly large and lots of storage space. Bed fairly comfortable but getting old. Good climate control and water pressure, linen and towels clean. Staff generally helpful, especially Juan and Josué at reception, Nicole at the concierge desk and Cesar at breakfast. Dining room spacious and breakfast had a good variety of foods and fruits. Told area not safe after dark due to reduced police presence. Fine during the day, however be aware of surroundings. Lots of little streets and lanes to explore in the neighbourhood. Beware of the yellow and black taxis. They take the longest possible route and then switch your bill for a smaller one. One tried to switch a 20k bill with a 2k one. Carry small bills if using these taxis.
