I liked their restaurant a lot - they have good people there. The rooms were as expected - perfect. The bathroom was the only thing, I did not like. The design was not suitable for rooms with wooden floors. The window had a wooden support - one can sit there, Lovely view.

This hotel stay was arranged by Silversea following a cruise from Guayaquil to Valparaiso, with return flights from Santiago. Our room was comfortable; food, wines and service in the restaurant were generally excellent. We had a late-evening flight out of Santiago, so the hotel folks graciously let us stay in our room until 3:00 p.m. If back in Santiago, we'll definitely consider staying here again.

When you’re staying at the lovely Renaissance hotel, be sure to always come in the afternoon for the club lounge Happy Hour on the 12th. Not only you will be well served amazing local beer, wine, piña colada, champagne accompanied by cheese boards, fruit, pizza, and delicious Chilean finger food, but you’ll have the pleasure of being welcomed by the staff to make you feel at home, in particular a very knowledgeable lady called Javiera. Not only does she have extensive experience being a barista and restaurant server for years, she is a local who will be more than happy to give you many tips on the best places to visit in town, and what foods and beers to try. Overall amazing experience, I love Renaissance hotels especially when the locals make you feel at home. Couldn’t recommend it any more highly. This is why I always stay at Marriott hotels. Thank you Javiera and staff for providing such an enjoyable experience!

This was a superior experience and one that reminds me of a time when hotel management was something hotels took pride in. From the very first moment, this was a stay of pure comfort. - Check in and out was quick and informative - The rooms were of a very high standard, clean and with superior comfort. There was a huge comfortable bed as well as a lounger and space for an office desk with chair. The desk had multi-jurisdictional plugs which is such a great offering for guests. I do not understand why all hotels do not offer this. There were four complimentary bottles which were always replaced. The lighting was just right. - Bathroom was luxurious with separate shower and bathtub, with the toilet in a separate space. Shower gels and shampoos provided along with lotion. And many towels of high quality. - Breakfast was excellent with a selection of everything anyone would require included fruit, breads, meats, live egg station and more. - Staff: The staff from the breakfast area to the concierge and reception were all excellent. They were helpful and always smiling. Special appreciation to the waiters in the breakfast area who were very helpful and engaged in conversation in English - which was great for me. They would constantly check to see if I was okay. I was very impressed with my stay and will definitely stay here again. Well done to the hotel management team and staff. Spectacular!

El hotel súper cómodo, silencioso, no se escuchan ruidos de la ciudad dado a que está, en plena ciudad, pero en una calle muy tranquila junto con el hotel que parece estar dentro de un campo muy pintoresco. El hotel está muy cercano a pubs y restoranes en la calle Vitacura. La pieza súper cómoda, incluso tienen una terraza mediana con una mesa y un cenicero para los fumadores, todo perfecto! y no es un hotel caro. En su interior está el restoran Áurea, cocina de autor, MUY bueno! Muy lindo hotel boutique!

We arrived in March, as a result of our airline cancelling an aircraft for 2 days. We were given a large room to accommodate my handicapped scooter, which did not even fit in the the first room we tried. As for the food, I can only comment on the buffets, which is what we were given, overall it was quite good. The bar was very nice, with a friendly and helpful bartender, and it has the largest LCD TV I have ever seen, which would become very useful when the final game for the NCAA basketball championship came on (we love March Madness). Overall, this is a handsome hotel, with a large and airy lobby, but we could tell it was a bit older, with a few things needing repair, refurbishing or outright replacement, The concierge was very helpful, but I had to speak Spanish to get what I wanted, because he did not speak English. We didn't try the pool, but it looked great, and there were cabanas to hang out in.
