4,5/5,00 O Best Western Estacíon Central é um ótimo hotel. Ele possui quartos amplos e é bem confortável. O café da manhã é servido até às 10h e é bem farto, conta com variedades de frutas, cereais, pães, frios, ovos e linguiça. Os funcionários são bem receptivos e atenciosos. Eles disponibilizam uma marmitinha de café da manhã (sache de café, chá,fruta, sanduíche, iogurte) para que você possa levar no dia dos passeios, basta solicitar até as 21h na recepção. A região realmente não é boa mas o hotel conta com seguranças a disposição caso precise esperar algum uber ou taxi do lado de fora. Foi bem tranquilo pedir carros de aplicativo tanto durante o dia quanto durante a noite. Próximo ao hotel há uma estação da Turbus (estação alameda) e tem um metrô do outro lado da rua

El hotel es muy bonito y tranquilo. El personal es increíble y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Destacó sobre todo la amabilidad y atención de Eduardo. El restaurante es un imperdible ya que la comida está bien hecha y el desayuno vale la pena.

Gran ubicación en una zona muy linda y agradable, con centros comerciales y una parada de metro cercana. La habitación moderna y cómoda, con un baño equipado con productos de buena calidad. El personal muy amable, incluso nos regalaron 2 tragos de cortesía al llegar. El desayuno muy bueno y completo. Absolutamente nada para criticar, muy recomendable.

What a fabulous Hostel. The staff and volunteers offered tips and suggestions for a wonderful time in Santiago. Each guest gets an individual tour of the Hostel upon arrival, so you know where everything is straight away. I would like to mention some of the staff by name as they provided me with a terrific experience. They were Mario, Claudio, Basti, Santi, and the volunteers Julius, Stefan, Pascal. The people I met were all very friendly and both the Xmas and New Years Eve parties were a fabulous experience. I HAD AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME AT THIS HOSTEL AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Realizamos la reserva eligiendo la opción con impuestos incluidos ( que es más caro )y al realizar el check in nos dicen que ese impuesto no es el IVA, si no que la comisión que el hotel le tiene que pagar a la plataforma que usamos para reservar y a lo pagado nos cobraron en recepción un 19% extra en concepto impuestos o IVA nuevamente, yo trabajo en la industria hotelera y es una sinvergüenzura lo que hacen al publicar las habitaciones con “ impuestos “ o “ sin impuestos “ y luego te los cobran por segunda vez , uso esta cadena hotelera en muchos países y sólo en Chile me pasó esto. No vuelvo a reservar en Ibis Chile nunca más .

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. The hotel is clean and located in the heart of Santiago. The staff are amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There are bus and train stops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Water, beer, wine and snacks are conveniently available for purchase in the lobby any time of the day or night. The hotel is still ramping up its operations to become more “full service” so some services, such as an in-house laundry service, are not yet available. The pool/bar area is beautiful and makes for a great place to hang out. Compared to a four star hotel in Chicago, some may find the interior a bit lacking, but my family and I really liked it.

Recentemente fiquei hospedada com a família neste hotel durante 6 dias, o hotel tem uma localização boa fica em torno de 20 minutos de carro dos principais pontos turísticos e do aeroporto, café da manha bom e camas confortáveis. Porém o que deixou a desejar é falta de poder controlar o ar condicionado, de madrugada fazia 10 graus e o hotel não tinha aquecedor pois só no inverno que há aquecedor nos quartos, passamos muito frio a noite, por mais que o hotel tenha fornecido cobertores. Outra coisa que também foi que não conseguimos utilizar o cofre, tentaram arrumar o cofre, mas sem sucesso. A piscina só pode ser utilizada se estiver utilizando uma touca de natação o qual é vendido no hotel, achei estranho, pois já me hospedei em muitos hotéis e nunca vi solicitarem isso. Fora isso os quartos são confortáveis e limpos, ocorreu tudo bem!

This was our second trip to Santiago and to this hotel, we really enjoyed our first trip so decided to stay again. Wasn’t as good as the first stay but the hotel is nice and clean. It has good spaces with a living wall, restaurant and bar area with outside seating. Clean rooms, breakfast was not very inspiring mainly continental with limited hot food offerings. Now for the negatives Diamond member and we didn’t receive a room upgrade which was disappointing as the hotel wasn’t busy and my family who are gold were giving an upgrade we checked in at the same time (us first). Terrible room keys had to have them changed 3 times as they stopped working and reception staff didn’t seem too concerned about the inconvenience. On checkout I asked to pay with part cash I was told that this couldn’t be done due to taxes, which I’ve never experienced in the past at any Hilton, Felt that Daniel was very unhelpful and didn’t seem to really want let me pay with any cash as it wasn’t convenient for him. Shower temperature is impossible to get right either too hot or too cold.
