We arrived after this hotel on a b&b booking with Jet2, after a 2 hour delayed flight at around 1.30am First drop off on the coach which was about 15 minutes from airport. Taxis outside airport if you want to have a quick get off which costs around €15 (we would have done this but totally forgot) If you are one of the last drops it could be over a hour to get to your hotel. CHECKED IN pretty quickly and was told we had been give an upgrade. We had originally booked a junior suite and was given a luxury maisonette with jacuzzi. (Room 206) These are split over 2 floors. On entering there was a huge queen size bed (very firm and didn’t help with my back problems) tv, dining table, 2 sofas which I presume you could use for further sleeping accommodation. A small kitchen with fridge (with 2 free bottles of water) small top drawer freezer, 2 hobs, kettle, plates cups cutlery etc. Small balcony with a table and 2 chairs Wardrobe with a few hangers. Iron and table top ironing board We also had FREE bathrobes and slippers. (I presume this is only certain rooms) FREE SAFE The bathroom was a good size with shower over the bath. (Shower could be on the cooler side sometimes but pressure was ok) Hairdryer, but it wasn’t the best. Complimentary shower gel, shampoo, soap and sponges etc There were stairs that took you to the top floor. Now these stairs were pretty steep so wouldn’t be any good for people with mobility issues Up there was another huge queen size bed, it’s own bathroom, toilet with stand in shower and outside on a veranda was a small jacuzzi. ROOMS cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. FREE AIRCON on both floors which worked amazingly and FREE WIFI which again worked good. POOL consisted of a main pool, smaller kids part to one side and a small jacuzzi to the other. Ample amount of beds (with cushions) as this is only a small complex it isn’t overcrowded. FREE POOL TOWELS to use also. There is a pool bar where you can pay or charge to your room. BREAKFAST consists of tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereal, fruit, toast, some pastries and cakes, cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, mini sausages and occasionally beans. Served 8-11am It wasn’t the best choices but there are places outside where you can get a full English fry up if you want one. SUPERMARKET there is a supermarket a few doors down, where you can get everything you need. SPORTS now if you are an avid sports fan like my husband, we found an IRISH BAR that shown most sport (just tv, no sound as music was playing) If you turn left out of the hotel, then second left (after the magic summer pool bar) and follow the road round for 5 minutes, you will come to the bar on the right (on a corner) The Kiwi Chinese restaurant is facing this Irish Bar and it’s definitely worth a visit. TRANSPORT we hired a large quad (with roof) from the bike shop called Moto Sellada (on the right when walking to the Irish bar.) Cost €140 for the day (had to return by 9pm same day) We travelled the is

If you're looking for an exceptional vacation experience, I highly recommend Villa Dima. From start to finish, my stay at this beautiful property exceeded all of my expectations. Firstly, the villa themselves are absolutely stunning. The villa is traditional designed with attention to detail . From the high-end appliances in the kitchen to the plush bedding and high-quality linens, everything was thoughtfully chosen to create an experience of true Santorini. The amenities are also top-notch. Whether you want to relax by the private balcony, you can enjoy a massage on the request. Dimitri is also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of your stay is perfect. He arranged for us the transportation service from airport and back to the port with a best price, also he help us to book some tours and activities on the island. Thank you to Dimitri for making my stay so incredible!

Where to start with the review...... At the beginning I suppose, so I will start by saying that something has definitely 100% changed since the previous reviews were left! We booked with Jet2holidays, landed at 11.30pm, by the time we transferred to the hotel it was 1am. Due to the location, there is a ten min walk from the drop off point to the hotel, which does include quite a steep hill. We were met at reception by a nice, polite, presentable gentleman, which given the time I wouldn't have been too annoyed if he was yawning or looked tired. We had to pay the hotel tax (€21 for the week) when we checked in. The young man took my GFs suitcase up to the room. We had booked a superior room with a sea view, which is at the top of the hotel, so probably another 3-4 flights of stairs. We asked if the fridge had any water, which it didn't, and he then went back to reception and brought a large bottle back to the room. It was a very large bedroom, with a tv (never used), working air conditioning, plenty of wardrobe space, two bedside tables, a large chest of drawers (3+2) - The bathroom had a whirlpool bath and a lovely powerful shower (combined). the balcony had a small table and two chairs. the entire place was spotless. Waking in the morning, the balcony held the most beautiful of views across the town and out to sea - if anyone is an early riser, the sunrise is a view to behold. Breakfast is served between 0800-1000hrs and has something for everyone, there was so much choice. cereals, toast, jams, croissants, bacon, eggs, omelettes, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, coffee machine, etc We booked B&B, mainly because we wanted to dine out, so I cannot comment on previous reviews about lunch or dinner, but we could not fault breakfast. The pool side was also spotless and we could see each morning that the cleaners were spraying and cleaning every single bed, etc before anyone came down to catch the rays. The pool itself is very clean, large and cold, so don't expect a heated pool. The pool side barman was very friendly and courteous, and you could pay for your drinks or have them charged to your room. He even threw in free snacks every now and again. in terms of location, it is right at the bottom of Kamari resort, so five mins back down the hill and you are straight into the beachside bars and restaurants. When we got back to our room, the cleaner had been in and again, it was completely spotless - all bins emptied, bedding changed, towels changed, ashtray emptied (sorry non smokers!) the reception area has a good selection of books you can borrow and read, which we did. suppose you are waiting for a but.... so here you go. The roads are narrow and so you will not be dropped at the hotel door by the coach. be prepared for a 5-10 min walk from the drop off point, which is mostly uphill and the road is not an even tarmac surface. so you will feel it by the time you reach the hotel. the lighting isn't the greatest on the road, but then again the whole island

Third trip. We are seasoned travellers but have returned to George’s personal hospitality dream once again to find an even brighter welcome; friendliest hospitality; very comfortable beds; stylish accommodation; glorious setting; lavishly refurbished rooms; excellent facilities and the top friendly service that is the Phevos signature. Close to all amenities if you can drag yourself away from the hospitable bar and amenities. 3 min walk to an amazing 24hr bakery, shop and many fabulous local restaurants and convivial bars that are fun without being too touristy. A family friendly boutique apartment block, family run and the repeat custom alone speaks volumes. Most impressive, hard-working Hellenic charm and a fine vantage point for the delights of this fabulous island.

The accomodation is not the most luxurious you'll ever find but, by Greek standards, it's very good. The water pressure is a little inconsistent - I found myself covered head to toe in soap wondering just when the water was going to come out of the shower again - but that just adds to the charm really. Cleaning - excellent. Beds - very comfortable. Pool - decent size and there was always a couple of free sunbeds available. The fact that they're right outside the rooms makes for a bit of territorial battle but it's all in the head and nothing said. Then we come to Sissi, Angelo, Gabby, Chris and Eirene. Absolutely the very best hosts we have ever stayed with in any hotel anywhere. If you're a very private person then you might struggle a bit, but they just open up to you and welcome you into the family. So much so that it was Angelo's birthday on the Sunday while we were there and all guests were invited to a barbeque served on the bar. While we were there we met couples that have been returning year on year for up to twenty years. I can really see why. If we ever come back to Perissa then there's absolutely no question where we will be staying.

Only problem is, the hotel is very far from the bus station and also far from the sea beach. But you can get a great view of the surroundings though. If you rent your own car, then there's no problem to stay here at all, otherwise it's hard to go there after getting down from the bus station.
Terra Blue Santorini

Kamari
We had a truly incredible stay at Terra Blue in Santorini. Funnily enough, we didn't actually choose this hotel ourselves as we were visiting for a wedding and stayed at the same hotel as the other guests. But what a wonderful surprise this was! If I'm honest, I probably would have picked something larger with fancier decor or more facilities, but I now realise those things are not what makes a trip memorable and Terra Blue might change the way we pick hotels in future. It is a gem of a hotel. It's smaller and quieter than the hotels we normally stay at so it is more friendly and personable. It's close enough to Kamari beach and promenade for convenience but just far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. Most importantly though, it's impossible to say enough good things about Vangelis who runs the hotel. He is genuinely once of the warmest and kindest people I have ever met and nothing is too much trouble for him to ensure you have a wonderful time on his home island of Santorini. I feel like I have made a good friend having stayed there for just one week. The rest of the staff are similarly very friendly and take great care of their guests. The hotel has a good selection of rooms from budget options to upper sea-view rooms with enclosed balconies and incredible sunrise and sea views (we stayed in room 37 which was fantastic). Kamari beach is a 8min walk down the hill and has a 1km promenade of shops, restaurants and bars with a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty to see and do. There are dive shops, vehicle rental shops, supermarkets and tour companies who can arrange tours around Santorini from here. Terra Blue is also perfectly situated for a drive or walk up to Ancient Thera, situated on the dramatic cliffs behind the hotel overlooking Kamari. This trip reminded me that it is people, connection and experiences that matter most, and Terra Blue is a wonderful welcoming place where you can relax and feel at home.
