Marianna Hotel

We went here in early September and found the whole experience at the marianna amazing. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and allways have time for you. We had a terrace room by the pool side which was plenty big enough for two of us with a huge comfortable bed . Clothes storage could have been better but to be honest we took far too many clothes. The pool was amazing and never a problem finding a place round it and a bonus of a poolside bar . A good selection of food for breakfast was in the dining room everyday , we could not find any serious faults with this hotel whatsoever and would love to go back again someday. We would highly recommend the marianna to anyone.

I really did my research on the hotels and areas in Santorini before we came. I settled on this one as the reviews were great, it was family run and in a quieter area. We weren’t disappointed! The rooms were big, clean and up to date. Lovely shower, huge bed and fab aircon! The pool area was fabulous, we had double doors out onto a patio overlooking it. It was exceptionally clean and because the hotel had only 30 or so rooms there was never ever a fight for a sun bed at any time of the day! Lemmy looked after us at the bar, a very friendly guy I got in touch with Tracey, the hotel receptionist before hand and she arranged a private island tour with Visalis for my partners birthday. Nothing was too much trouble, she also arranged a trip to a local winery, a boat trip to the hot springs/volcano and a meal at a restaurant so we could see the sunset . An added bonus was she was from England so we didn’t have that language barrier either-thank you Tracey!! It was a short walk down the hill to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. We can recommend Sirocco-gorgeous wood fired pizzas and Mama’s-traditional home cooked food, also Dorians for a cocktail or two The restaurants on the sea front weren’t so good and a bit pricey. You could get a boat over to Kamari for 8 euros one way-well worth a visit! The buses were fab too-we got one into Fira really easily. Not for anyone who struggles to walk as the hill on the way back to the hotel is quite steep! Our only gripe was that our tv did not show an English Channel. This wouldn’t normally matter as we don’t go away to watch telly but the Olympics were on and it would have been nice to catch up with the highlights. Breakfast too was ok but we were there for 10 days and it was exactly the same each day-the cooked option was a fried egg, beans and little cocktail sausages. It would have been nice to have had a different choice of egg whilst staying there. That said we had a fabulous stay here and would absolutely recommend anyone to go, everyone was so very friendly and Perissa was lovely! Thank you Hotel Marianna for making our stay so fabulous, Santorini is stunning!

We had a fabulous holiday at Marianna Hotel. Absolutely lovely place but most of all very welcoming and friendly. Starting with the hotel, clean and lovely rooms, nice breakfast where you really had a variety of fresh delicious food. Friendly reception staff, Teresa is amazing and absolutely friendly to all of the guests. We cannot praise enough Lemi our amazing bartender. Lemi we love you mate and looking forward to see you soon again. Thank you for making our holiday special. If you visit Perissa, go to Marianna Hotel and definitely you will have regrets when leaving. See you soon guys

Had a really enjoyable stay at this very friendly family run hotel! Amazing selection offered for breakfast. Had a lovely spacious room facing the pool! Excellent pool side bar run by Lemy who goes above & beyond to make you feel very welcome & makes the best cocktails! Also a shout out to Tracy who is very friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable of the area! Will definitely be returning very soon.

Stayed for 3 nights in Room 7 - WOW what a welcome by the staff, very friendly - Big Shout out to Maria ( who is always working and with a smile and welcoming) Lovely staff, very clean and quite hotel, excellent pool and bar on site. Lovely rooms, excellent housekeeping staff, great balconies on each room for smoking or enjoying the view and air conditioning is great. The breakfast Is sufficient and plentiful, great selection of teas and breads, sausages and fried eggs. The orange juice was tasty and refreshing. What is also great you can eat outside and enjoy the fab views. It is only a short 5 - 10 minutes stroll to the beach and plenty of restaurants which was great. We are very happy with our hotel choice and will recommend to others. BOOK NOW YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!! Top class service by Maria and her Team.

Cracking 7 nights stay at this friendly gem of an hotel. I don’t usually write reviews but thought I had to for this one as it was such a jol. From chilling around the pool to late nights around the bar with one of the best barman I’ve ever met. He is always one step ahead of you with anything you need in and around the hotel. A proper Jewel in the crown for this hotel. Will be back as long as I can still swim my lengths.
