Fava Eco Suites

The area is quite and nice and just 20 minutes walk to the crowds

Ok so be prepared for some uphill walking to get from the drop off/parking area to the hotel. However the porter met us off our bus and helped with the bags. The pros were the lovely views beIng up high, the quiet location meant it was slightly cheaper then staying right in Oia which was a nice 15ish min walk from the parking area and the breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning at our requested time and was lovely. When we arrived we were a little disappointed as the terrace didn’t look as nice as the photos, the whirlpool was tiny considering there were 3 of us and the loungers had no cushions so were hard wood. The room itself was nice although there were quite a few ants coming in which wasn’t the nicest experience for me as I was the one sleeping downstairs and kept finding them. We wanted late checkout which we were willing to pay for. The manager seemed a little insincere with his attempted effort to find any where for us to go after check out and said there was nothing available however we could see on *********** that there were still rooms available. He did however allow us to rest in his office AC for a while till our bus came so its not all bad! Overall Id say its a good choice for a nice stay near Oia however given it was advertised as a honeymoon suite I would not recommend it for this purpose given the fragile bed upstairs.

We absolutely loved Finikia. We stayed in a grand suite and the layout was beautiful, the shower pressure was great, all of the staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was the perfect treat to start the day. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi was heated, this limited our use of it as we were out most days when it was hot, but would have been nice to enjoy on the chillier evenings. But the view was beautiful! Overall, we had a great stay, and made some beautiful memories. Thank you, Tony! Sidenote, the tavern up the road has a beautiful courtyard with great live music by the owner, and nice house wine (to the car park, left turn, straight up the hill on the left).

What a fabulous little place, we were treated like friends, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served to our room with a lovely selection of bread , pastries, jam, yogurt and honey. Our jacuzzi looked out over the beautiful little settlement of Finikia, an amazing ancient place built into the hills. There was plentiful of delicious places to eat and drink

We informed Harry of our arrival by taxi so we were met by a man who wheeled our suitcases to our room with us. Trailfinders found these suites for us so one knows that they must be excellent. I hadn't realised immediately that they were cave suites because I didn't know that Finikia had them. The prices in Oia are outrageous, The short walk to Oia was perfectly fine. Our Premier suite with the dark blue bathroom was wonderful. Everything worked, Harry was so helpful and we loved our 3 night stay. It was my favourite place we stayed in out of 3 bookings, 2 in 4 star hotels, the other two being in Perissa and Pyrgos (we love Pyrgos). Apparently a jetted tub is not the same as a hot tub. We didn't have a tub which was fine as far as I am concerned. The breakfast which was brought to us in our room every morning at the time we had requested was also excellent, punctual and the eggs (omelette, scrambled, fried etc.) were hot. There are 3 restaurants in Finikia so we were able to try each one out. Our meal at Krinaki was far and away better than the other two restaurants and also considerably cheaper! Finikia is a traditional village and much more peaceful than Oia being completely pedestrianized. Thank you so much Harry. My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon suite with the outdoor private jetted tub. Fava eco suites is located in Finnikia- It was the perfect location to stay! It is nice and quiet, with a couple of restaurants nearby (not many), but only a 10 minute or less walk to the more busy/touristy town of Oia. The bus stop is about a 5-10 minute walk as well. We bussed to Fira a couple of the days we were there- super easy to figure out transportation and the buses are very cheap (about 2 euros). It said welcome gift upon arrival, but we didn't get anything- which was fine! The place was very clean and it had 2 outdoor patio areas. One with the jetted tub and one upstairs with an AMAZING VIEW on the balcony. Breakfast was brought to your room every morning. Air conditioning worked well. The cold tub was super nice to cool off in since we were there in June. Overall we had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it!

A real treat to be able to stay at Favo Eco Suites in Finikia, Santorini. Customer service was of the very highest of standards, friendly, clean and quiet. Breakfast was duly delivered at requested time and apartment cleaned daily with changes of linen and towels being frequent during out week's stay. This accommodation is better for couples/adults. Lots of stairs and low balcony walls would not make this suitable for families but this was just want we needed.

Had a wonderful experience at Fava, just a short 10min walk to to Oia. Harris was very helpful and communication was great! Highly recommend book his transfer from the airport and they look after everything for you! Highly recommend!

We arrived this afternoon but so far we are extremely disappointed and wishing we had booked somewhere else. The car park was full so we had to park on the road about a 15 minute walk away. The suites are extremely difficult to find and the walk to the reception is extremely steep (I would not recommend to anyone with difficulties walking) There is rubbish everywhere, it's really quite disgusting (please see photos) We checked in and the guy at reception was very nice and helpful, he showed us to our room and on the walk to our room he informed us we wouldn't be getting the room we paid for (an executive suite with 2 beds in separate rooms) as the last people had damaged the room. He said they would be moving us to that room tomorrow.. so I asked about compensation for this evening but he said there would not be any. He showed us into our tiny studio room and then proceeded to tell us there is no electricity. The furniture is filthy and ripped and we only have 1 sun lounger for 2 of us. The deck area was also completely soaked and slippery.. so dangerous!! Upon returning to our room this evening the electricity is back on but the WiFi is not working and our jacuzzi is only pumping round cold water (after 90 minutes of being on) not to mention its filthy, so we can not use it. This really hasn't been a good start to our 5 days here. I really hope it gets better when they move us tomorrow but I won't hold my breath.
