I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. The food was tasty with lots of options, and the hotel itself felt very comfortable and welcoming. I want to give a special thanks to the room attendant, Xi Qiang. He was so kind and attentive, always keeping my room clean and cozy. His friendly service truly made me feel at home. Overall, this hotel has everything you need – great location, good food, a nice atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I would be happy to come back again and highly recommend it to others.

As someone who rarely writes reviews, I'm compelled to give this hotel a huge thumbs up, all thanks to Housekeeper Wang. From the moment we checked in until we left, she was incredibly warm and welcoming, proactively cleaning our room, and even folded our clothes. The only minor issue was that the mosquito repellent ran out, and I ended up with seven or eight big bites, but honestly, that's beside the point. Housekeeper Wang's service truly made us feel at home, and she even helped me arrange a late check-out with the hotel. My only suggestion for improvement would be regarding the cleanliness of the pool water and the beach management. Housekeeper Wang, we absolutely have to see you again next time we visit Sanya!

We visited for a family vacation with our elderly parents and children. The hotel's beachfront location made activities like beachcombing and surfing incredibly convenient. The kids absolutely loved catching so many crabs on the beach in the morning. The swimming pool was open and meticulously maintained daily, with very clean water. Overall, the service was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and we had a truly positive experience.

The room was run-down and moldy; both the bedding and the headboard were damp and moldy. The toilet seat was yellowed, and the windows were dirty. I didn't even want to touch the breakfast buffet. It was packed, and dishes were not refilled promptly. When I asked for some vegetables for my noodles, even spinach was unavailable, and the staff just said they had run out. Hot milk was also gone, and no one bothered to replenish it. Service was non-existent. The watermelon was watery and tasted terrible. The only upsides were the cheap room rate and convenient sea views.

Yalong Bay is undoubtedly the top destination for a beach getaway. This hotel offers direct beach access right from the elevator, which is absolutely stunning, and the amenities are excellent. While the decor isn't the most contemporary, that's really not important! What truly impressed me was how well they managed during Typhoon 'Swordfish'. We only experienced a brief power cut for less than a minute and a short internet outage for a few minutes, with no interruption to the water supply whatsoever. All meal services – breakfast, dinner, and the buffet – ran perfectly. Our room also remained completely dry (we weren't in a sea-view room, so I can't comment on those). Overall, this hotel will be my unwavering choice for any future trips to Yalong Bay. The only minor flaw was one morning around 6 AM, a staff member, presumably fixing an air conditioner, mistakenly knocked on our door and disturbed our sleep.

Our ocean-view room offered seamless access to both the pool and the beach, which was incredibly convenient for enjoying the sea – exactly why we came to Yalong Bay. The ocean view from the room was absolutely stunning, and there were plenty of water activities to watch, which were quite entertaining even if we weren't participating. The open-plan design of the ground floor lobby is also great for various dining options. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, this didn't detract from our overall experience at all, and it offers excellent value for money.

Spent a week in Sanya with my kids, staying at several hotels, and this one was hands down the oldest, most rundown, and worst of them all. The hotel's facilities and overall environment were incredibly old and dilapidated. The indoor kids' play area had practically nothing to play with; the few toys available were broken and rusty. The outdoor playground consisted of just a single water slide. All the hotel chairs and sofas were very dirty, and the pool water was murky. There was hardly any seafood at breakfast. The dining area was scorching hot with no air conditioning, only fans, leaving us all sweating profusely. After checking out, my kids still wanted to play, but there was no proper changing area, only the public restrooms. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. I honestly couldn't believe such an outdated hotel still exists in Yalong Bay!

We specifically booked a sea-view suite, which turned out to be a one-bedroom, one-living room setup. The living room had a rattan daybed that felt somewhat like a tatami. For a family of four, having a direct sea view in this location, the value for money was excellent. The downstairs pool is perfect for families with kids; our children practically lived in it all day. The pool is huge, and even when the sun was blazing, there were plenty of shaded spots. Breakfast was also plentiful and varied, and on the afternoon of our arrival, they even offered complimentary snacks. The only downside was the dampness, but that's a common issue with beachfront hotels in Sanya due to the high humidity, so it's unavoidable. For dinner, we ate at the nearby Baihua Valley and Yalong Bay Beach Park. With elders and young children in tow, a taxi ride there was just the starting fare. At "Buzai Ke Seafood" in Yalong Bay Beach Park, we purchased a group-buy spicy crab noodle set (for 2-3 people – caution: not for those who can't handle spice!). 3 adults and 1 child polished it off completely. The hotel also offers a buffet BBQ dinner, and hotel guests get a discount. We didn't try it, so I can't comment on the food, but it's set up right by the pool, and the atmosphere looked great.

The hotel is located on the first line next to the sea. 1 swimming pool is available. Food is good. The room has everything you need. the territory is not big, but well-groomed.

Upon heading to my room, one of the elevators was out of order, forcing us to wait several minutes in a stuffy environment. Opening the room door, an overpowering musty smell hit me, which was truly disgusting. The room's amenities were also very old and worn, with everything patched up as if it was about to fall apart. Breakfast was equally unpleasant – loud, stuffy, and felt like sheer torture! I definitely won't be returning!

A balanced review – I'll start with the positives. Pros: The beach is right there, the water is clear, and the waves are small, making it super convenient for swimming. The view is also fantastic. For the sea-view room we booked, the price was an absolute steal! Cons: Now for the downsides! The hotel is old, and there's no denying that. Given its prime location and year-round full occupancy, I can understand why major renovations might be difficult. However, the poor hygiene is completely unacceptable. In the bathroom, the toilet seat still had sticky residue from disposable seat covers left by previous guests (or even several previous guests), which hadn't been properly cleaned. Is it really that hard? A little adhesive remover would take it off instantly! Cobwebs were hanging in the corner of the cubby where the bath towels were stored – seriously, how long has it been since that spot was cleaned? The transparent glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom had a white roller blind covered in mold spots! Maybe they could just replace it with a patterned blind, so I wouldn't have to look at it and could just pretend it's clean... Our room's bathroom didn't have a separate shower, forcing us to shower in the bathtub. The hygiene of the tub and its surroundings was so questionable that soaking was out of the question – we could only stand to wash. To make matters worse, both the roller blind on the left and the shower curtain on the right were full of mold spots and various strange stains. The tub itself was barely half a meter wide, making showering feel like an extreme obstacle course! The wardrobe had a basic design: open the door, the light comes on; close the door, it turns off. However, the cabinet door was warped and didn't close properly, so the light inside stayed eerily on. In the middle of the night, it looked as if some mythical creature was residing within... The bathrobes were frayed, and the curtains were too dirty to even touch. Despite a wonderful balcony with an amazing view, not even a single chair was provided. Downstairs, there's a large swimming pool, but it only had ankle-deep water. This vast area, featuring a pool bar and a circular lounging zone, along with the adjacent circular-designed McDonald's, felt like a completely wasted excellent setup. For the pools that did have water, the circulation wasn't working, and the water wasn't even clear! I really can't fathom what the hotel management is thinking. It was similar last year, but this year, the hygiene appears to have deteriorated even further. Overall, for Yalong Bay, the hotel offers good value for money, and the sea here is truly amazing. I sincerely hope the hotel can improve. I won't even dwell on the outdated facilities; just updating the small details and implementing stricter hygiene controls would make a huge difference, even if it meant a slight price increase. Otherwise, even its prime location won't be enough to salvage its reputation. Oh, and a final note: the hotel's safety railing for beds should not be used. It's a serious safety hazard. The support bar that slides under the mattress is less than 20cm long, causing it to tip over with the slightest touch. Parents traveling with babies should be especially cautious!

The hotel is very close to the beach and has its own pool, making it convenient for families with kids. The sea view was also good. However, the facilities are quite outdated, and there was a pervasive damp/mildewy smell throughout the hotel floors. The bathroom in our room also had a very unpleasant odor, likely coming from the drains. Oh, and by the way, the hotel gave us a complimentary room upgrade, but the soundproofing was beyond terrible. We could hear everything our neighbors said as if they were in our own room. (It felt like there was a connecting door right behind the sofa, leading directly to their unit 😓). Moving on to breakfast, the variety was quite paltry, almost disappointingly so. You could certainly get enough to eat, but the options were very limited. Finally, something utterly infuriating happened. Aside from breakfast, we mostly relied on food delivery. A crucial tip for everyone: when placing delivery orders, *only* put the hotel's name as the address – do *not* include detailed room numbers. We unfortunately experienced this firsthand when a merchant showed up at our room in the middle of the night and caused a massive scene, which was only resolved after the police were called. (The root cause was that the merchant's order was overdue and marked as signed for. After we contacted the merchant, the delivery driver called 10 minutes later, admitting he delivered to the wrong place. We then requested a refund via the Ele.me platform. Another 10 minutes later, the driver called again, claiming the food had finally arrived... Throughout this, the platform indicated the merchant refused our refund, so I escalated to customer service. Without any resolution from them, the merchant then showed up unannounced late at night and created that commotion.) I must reiterate: the people at '外婆家常菜' (Grandma's Home Cooking, Yalong Bay branch) have extremely poor ethics and a belligerent attitude. The individual who barged into our hotel room in the middle of the night was truly a 'she-devil' 😂.

The sea view in Yalong Bay is absolutely stunning – it's clearly the biggest draw, so much so that even live streamers constantly broadcast with it as their backdrop. The room's furniture is quite dated and made of wood. The room itself is also a bit on the small side, and the bathroom feels cramped, lacking a large bathtub. The BBQ buffet for guests costs 98 RMB per person, which is a reasonable price. However, dining and barbecuing right by the pool made for a very smoky experience. Moreover, with the buffet items set up along the pool walkway, they got cold quickly, and the food quality was only mediocre.

The sea and the beach are beautiful. The furniture of Mountain View Room I had was rather worn out and I think this is the case of all the mountain view rooms; I visited an Ocean View Room and it had new furniture, it’s another standing we ´re talking about.
