We recently stayed at the Grand Mercury in Sapporo and had a generally positive experience. The hotel's location is very strategic, allowing easy access to various attractions in the city. One of the major perks was the free parking, which added significant convenience to our stay.
The room size was quite large, providing ample space for our kids to run around, which was a big plus for us. Additionally, the location is pretty quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. While the hotel was fairly clean, it wasn't spotless. I'd give the cleanliness a rating of about 8 out of 10. The service was okay, with many self-service options available, which might suit some guests more than others. Overall, the Grand Mercury is a good choice if you're looking for a convenient location, spacious rooms, and free parking in Sapporo.

Keihan Hotel Sapporo is always my first choice whenever I visit Hokkaido. It’s a smooth and seamless experience from the moment you checked in and the last day of checking out by just dropping off the key at the service counter. There’s a a lot of amenities that you can rent for free and the highlight of the stay is their in house public bath onsen which is wonderful especially after returning from the cold weather outside. Also, it’s within walking distance to Sapporo train stations and other attractions.

Hotel was about 10min walk from Sapporo Station - look for signage to Emion Hotel - you can walk on street level or underground walkway which is covered all the way. The building next to Emion is brand new (forgot the name) - this building has a direct lift that leads to the underground walkway. Exit 15 will lead you to a few Izakaya places and it's fully covered the walkway. Breakfast was good with local fare such as japanese curry with rice, soba, miso, fried chicken (was good!), various juices, fruits and desserts - breakfast ends at 930am. The onsen on 2nd floor is open to public but hotel guests can go in for free - opens till late 1am almost everyday. Hotel will issue the onsen card to all hotel guests separately. 7Eleven right downstairs for convenience. We had a three bedder, was a bit squeezy - see photo. bathroom had a tub which was a good surprise. toilet is separated fr bathroom. No gym though which is why i gave 4 stars for facilities.

Our recent stay at the Sapporo Stream Hotel was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it, especially for families with young children. The hotel’s location is truly unbeatable—it’s conveniently situated near major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore Sapporo without any hassle.
The hotel's accessibility was a game-changer for families like ours travelling with a stroller. It's directly accessible to the Cocono Susukino Mall and then directly down to the station area. It’s rare to find a hotel this considerate towards families, and we really appreciated the thoughtful design.
The housekeeping service was another highlight of our stay. The hotel efficiently ensuring our room was well-stocked with their “menu” of housekeeping options!
As expected in a Japanese hotel, the room was compact but thoughtfully designed. While opening two suitcases at the same time was a challenge, this is typical for hotels in Japan. The space was well-utilized, and we found it cosy and sufficient for our needs.
Overall, Sapporo Stream Hotel exceeded our expectations with its prime location, family-friendly accessibility, and excellent housekeeping. While the room size might be a slight adjustment for some, it’s a small trade-off for the convenience and quality of service provided. We’d gladly stay here again on our next visit to Sapporo!

Saya menempah hotel untuk malam pertama saya di Sapporo. Saya pergi ke sana semasa Festival Musim Bunga dan musim sejuk, yang merupakan musim puncak di Hokkaido Hotel adalah sangat mahal satu malam. Bilik itu agak kecil tetapi kemudahannya lengkap dan sangat bersih. Ia hanya 500 meter dari Exit 5 dari Stesen Susukino. Ia hanya dua perhentian ke Stesen Sapporo. Ia sangat mudah. Terdapat Lawson dan pelbagai restoran mi dan restoran barbeku di tingkat bawah . Sangat mudah untuk keluar untuk makan dan membeli-belah Nisbah harga/prestasinya adalah sangat tinggi hari hanya akan menelan belanja lebih daripada 200, yang merupakan nilai terbaik untuk wang.

The room booked (deluxe double) was spacious (over 40 square meters) and the breakfast selection was decent. My children loved the food!
Jump onto the Tozai line at Odori and you can visit Shiroi Koibito park after a short walk.
Jump onto the JR line at Sapporo and you can reach to further places like Otaru or Noboribetsu.
The service staff are friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended if you’re coming with young kids.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, a family of 5. The room is large enough to accommodate all of us and was very neat and clean. The restaurant which served breakfast was quite small but the food was decent. Our car is 7 seater and was too big to be parked indoor. However, the public carpark was few steps away. Staffs were very friendly too. Overall, it was a happy stay.

PPengguna Tetamu3月12日に1泊させてもらいました。 大通公園寄りの新築ピカピカなホテルです。 まずフロントの方が感じ良くて丁寧。到着時間が遅れると連絡したところ、先ほどはご連絡ありがとうございますと笑顔で言っていただき部屋に入る前から嬉しい気持ちになりました。 1階には貸出しコーナーがありシャンプーに乳液、クレンジング等無料で借りることができます。 今回は20時からの安いプランでしたが次はもっと滞在したいと思いました。 コーヒー無料も嬉しいです。 出発の時も清掃係の方が元気良く挨拶をしてくれました。 コスパ抜群でお部屋もキレイだし何より接客がいいホテルでおススメですよ♪

I would like to give this hotel a higher score, but unfortunately I cannot because there are too many little problems with the experience. On a positive note, the rooms are comfortable, perhaps not that large compared to normal Marriott standards, but not tiny either. However, there are just too many frustrating negatives at the hotel. For example: 1. There is a large difference in English language confidence amongst the front-desk staff. Some staff are fluent English speakers, but many other staff struggle with very basic English requests and so you end up with, for example, being recommended to go to a Conbini if you want to eat late, instead of suggesting a local ramen restaurant, many of which are open until 3am ! For an international brand hotel that clearly expects international customers, far more effort should be placed on improving the English language fluency of front-of-house staff, in particular the front-desk staff. 2. There is no comfortable lobby-style area to sit and work quietly. There is a cafe, but you cannot sit there unless you order, and if the cafe is closed, then you have zero seating options. 3. The cafe only servers Hokkoaido wines by the bottle. If you want wines by the glass, you have to order French wine. In my opinion this is a serious missed opportunity to showcase what Hokkaido has to offer. 4. On my first day here, housekeeping staff walked into my room unannounced. Fortunately I was dressed and about to leave the hotel for tourism. But housekeeping staff really need to learn basic protocol ! 5. There is no comptentent concierge at this hotel. Fortunately I am a regular visitor to Japan, so I am happy to cope on my own. But if you are thinking of staying at this hotel hoping to have the assistance of a competent concierge, you will be disappointed. For example, today I tested the front-desk asking for help reserving a restaurant, they just suggested I do it online... gee, thanks guys ! Ultimately none of these problems are insurmountable with proper training and other improvements. But for a hotel of this calibre, they equally should not have been problems in the first place, they are the sort of things that should automatically be there.

DDamien YuExceptional hotel experience! The hotel staff exceeded my expectation to a 5 stars hotel! I wrote a letter to the hotel to show my gratitude to their services! I would definitely recommend Premier Hotel of Nakajima Park to anyone! The hotel is well maintained even it is not as new. Staff are helpful!! The breakfast was outstanding and they provide a main course alongside buffet! Daytime free drink and soup at the lobby restaurant! Nakajima Park right at the door, fresh air and ponds and woods cleanse my body and spiritually!

You can choose buffet or Japanese breakfast and the buffet breakfast has various choices of food, but I hope the Japanese one can be changed more frequently. Room was comfy but not very soundproof. The guests above us were very noticeable; lots of foot stomping and moving around from 7:00am which wasn’t ideal.

LLee RingoWe just checked in the room and found that the air conditioning had something wrong (the hotel has fixed a warm mode, can't change anything) and actually there was no air (warm or cool) coming out. The staff there advised me to open the window. To me, it was unacceptable as it is a hotel, not a guesthouse. We discussed this issue with Front Office Manager and he agreed to refund the money to me. So, I did not stay there.

Location: It was good. If you want to save up on transportation cost, the hotel is legit walking distance to many (like the JR sapporo station that has a mall, the clock tower, etc. Theres also a few convenient stores really close by.
Lobby: I came here when it was snowing so prepare for slippery and dirty floors! Theres also only 2 elevators and a lot of tourists come in groups so you might need to line up to use it.
Amenities: Theres only 2 laundry machines so try not to need to use it because they dont have a system for people using it, making it hard to identify whose clothes belong to when its done so the staff just lets it be there, making it hard for others to use it.
The amenities in the room was standard. I do enjoy the remote control bidet and they have a kid’s washing option which was rare.
Some reviews complained about the cleaning seemed to not read the instructions. Please use the ‘please clean’ or ‘do not disturb’ cards when you stay there and put the cards outside your room before 10 am. This information will be given during check in and they’ll will wait for you to finish reading it.
Room: The room can only fit 1 large luggage and at most 2 mid size luggage. It was pretty small if you have a big body frame.
The room wasn’t that clean. There was dried up chilli oil stain on the table that can easily be wiped off. This lowkey made me wonder how they cleaned the room and there i went on a bit of a cleaning spree on most frequently used places before utilising it.
The pillow was too soft that lowkey feels like nothing and the lighting at the vanity was bad for applying make up.
The air condition was bad in my opinion. They shouldve just not put it on heater mode because it was too warm to feel sleep at night. We had to turn off the heater and open the window to sleep.
Bonus:
- they gave us a few coupons for nearby seafood restaurants
- the room has a purifier + humidifier which is good for the cold weather
Overall:
A great hotel to stay in if you’re looking for a budgeted stay! Great location and comfortable accommodation.

CCHIHLINGThis hotel is around 30 mins away from CTS airport by rapid train. The best part of this hotel is it’s location. It’s just 3 mins walk away from the JR. Sapporo station( West exit) and the size room is a bit bigger than usual Japanese hotels. The Daimaru department store and shopping mall are also within 3 mins walk from the hotel.

PPengguna Tetamu今回の5日間の旅行のうち、わずか1泊2日であったが、色々と体験することができました。 １．先ず予約時について、今回は、羽田ー新千歳－札幌ーーと公共交通機関利用。サービスの札幌からの送迎バス予約を電話で依頼したら、 先ず予約確定してからとのことで、webで航空便(14時頃着)とホテル予約を入れ、電話したら(バス:14時,15時,16時発の認識であったが)、 今は14時のみで満席とのこと。よって、新千歳ー札幌ー真駒内ーホテル付近のバス停迄３時間近くでうんざり。 まず最初に”2時発のみで、満席”の案内が欲しかった。 ２．チェックイン対応はスムーズ(旅行割引は利用していない)であったが、明朝の札幌への送迎バスは”満席で、キャンセル待ちも出来ない”と とりつくしまもなし。 ３．部屋(10階 T/W)は(安価な本館を予約)想像以上に広くて使い勝手は良かったが、備品、クローゼット、バス・トイレ等当何分にも”相当古び た感じ”だが、川側の部屋で見晴らしも良く、利用には差支えなかった。ただ、クローゼット内のセーフテイボックス、衣装盆が床面に置か れていたのは、棚板をつけるなりして利用者の立場に立った配慮・設備にしてほしいと感じた。 ４．風呂は、1階、16階とも利用しました。大型ホテルに恥じない広さで、大勢の利用が出来るが、利用時は、共に利用者は少なかったので 存分に過ごすことができた。個人差はあるが、共にやや湯温が低く感じた。 ５．食事(夕・朝食)は、一部のカウンターには列をなしていたが、止むを得ないと思った。種類は、多彩であったが、正直なところ今一特徴 が感じられなかった。例えば(夕食)、ステーキが多量に用意されてカウンターにあったが、その配置(焼き上がり・盛・飾りつけ位置等)、 また、(朝食)海鮮丼についても(ごはん・海鮮等)各人の盛り付けを、事前にご飯のみを盛り付け(普通と少量の２種)準備し、人の流れを スムーズに出来ないか、そうすればおのずと楽しく、美味しくいただけると感じた。ウエイター・ウエイトレスも、大勢配置されている ので、食器の下げ等サービスプラス、配膳補助に従事してはいかがか。 ６．翌朝一に、フロントを尋ね(送迎バス利用可否)たが同様であった。路線バスの時間・乗場案内図をコピーしてもらった(スリランカ国籍の 女性が担当)際は、懇切丁寧な対応で感謝。 ７．チェッアウトは、スムーズで良かった。再再度、札幌行きの送迎バスの利用を尋ねたが、同様全く満席で利用不可とのことであった。 ８．バス停に向かおうと玄関先まで来た際に、朝一にフロントで尋ねたスリランカ国籍の女性が、飛んできて、丁度止まっていた札幌行きの 送迎バスの運転手に我々の乗車の可能性を折衝をしてくれました。その結果、その送迎バスに乗車が出来ました。そのバスにはまだまだ 空席が多々見受けられました。 いくらサービスのバスでも、フロントの対応には心が通っていないものと感じましたが、玄関先まで飛んできてくれた、この女性の対応 のすばらしさに感謝、感激！！！ ９．よって、札幌駅には45分ほどで着き、路線バス・地下鉄より1時間も節約でき、次の宿泊地・小樽に余裕をもって行けました。
