In one early morning the alarm sounded suddenly and later came with an apology announcement. Everyone woke up but not all understood the announcement. Nice view of Hokkaido University

The hotel is about 550 meters from JR Sapporo Station. While there aren’t many restaurants nearby, it’s conveniently located right in front of Hokkaido University. The nearest convenience store is Seicomart. Interaction with staff is minimal as check-in and check-out are handled through machines. Breakfast is complimentary, and you confirm your selection via the TV in your room. However, the Wi-Fi is highly unstable—it frequently disconnects and was completely unavailable for one night during our 4-night stay. Free coffee is available from 3 PM daily. Towels are replaced daily and hung on your door, while basic amenities are provided. The water pressure is excessively strong, almost as if draining an entire river. Room cleaning is scheduled every 4 days.

Good location. It was about 5-10 min walk from the JR station. Many choices for the breakfast. Room was small but tidy.

Toyoko is the hotel we stay at most often in Japan. The hotel is very close to Exit 8 of Sapporo Station North Exit, about 3 minutes' walk away. The hotel's breakfast is pretty good. The hotel is right opposite Hokkaido University, so friends who like to visit universities can easily go in and have a look.

Toyoko is a long-established hotel chain in Japan. It is cost-effective. Although the room is a bit small, it is enough for one person. Although it is small, it has all the necessary organs. It is very close to Sapporo Station, less than 10 minutes' walk away, and across from Hokkaido University in Sapporo, the surrounding facilities are also relatively complete. I went here because my client wanted to stay here. To be honest, the overall facilities are a bit old, and you have to wait until after 4 o'clock to check in, which is not very convenient. The room is also very small, and the activity space is limited. However, from the price point of view, the cost performance is very high, and it is a very good choice for people with a limited budget. It is worth mentioning that the hotel will provide breakfast. Although it is relatively simple, it has local soup curry, which is also a small surprise. In general, if you pursue high cost performance and don't care too much about the size of the room and the newness of the facilities, this place is still worth recommending.

It was my first time staying at Toyoko. The room was pretty good overall, clean and warm. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic and friendly to help me complete the check-in and membership registration.
