Ulasan Sapporo View Hotel Odori Park

The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. The bus from the airport to Sapporo stops right in front of the hotel, and the subway station is a convenient 5-minute walk away. Afternoon tea is provided daily, which is a nice touch. It's a fantastic hotel, and I hope to stay here again.

The Hotel location is about 7 mins walk to Odori Station Exit 1. The 'Streetcar' station was about 3 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient. Walking distance to underground shopping mall. The hotel room was spacious about 28 sqm in view that most hotel in Japan is quite small. The breakfast spread was superb. Best in Sapporo. The hotel was very generous to provide FREE Hokkaido snacks with hot and cold drinks at Lounge Area from 3 pm to 9pm. Overrall our stay was excellent.

The lounge had 'Jaga Pokkuru' (potato fries), which were delicious. The location is great, and the air in the evening is so refreshing. There's a Lawson convenience store nearby that sells bentos at a 40% discount, which was a nice surprise.

The lighting was too dim, and the room felt a bit stuffy. I really didn't like the wood-look tile flooring. The hotel's Wi-Fi was constantly disconnecting. The bathroom was quite good, though it wasn't very clean.

The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room) The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service). Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront) The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station.

After watching Ken Takakura's movies, where Hokkaido was mentioned many times, I finally fulfilled my dream in 2026. What a beautiful region, a beautiful city, and a beautiful hotel – Sapporo Odori Park View Hotel! I was happy to find a smoking area in the hotel lobby. In the evening, while I was smoking, I met an American ice sculptor. I don't speak English, so I used a translation app, but it was still a great experience!

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, quiet, and clean. However, as others have mentioned, the bathroom is a bit dated. The bathtub creaks when you step into it, and there's a noticeable layer of dust on the ventilation fan when showering. Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic. If you put the magnetic 'please clean' sign on the door in the morning, they'll clean it. If you forget, they'll still hang fresh towels and toothbrushes on the door. Location: The garden view room faces Odori Park, with a large window offering beautiful views. It's very quiet at night, and the convenience store downstairs is great for snacks, late-night meals, and breakfast. However, it is quite a walk from the subway station; the closest exit is Odori Station Exit 1, about 200-300 meters away. Service: The service was satisfying, and all the staff were very polite. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to find 8 bottles of natural water on the table, contrary to some reviews that mentioned no bottled water. This made the experience even better. Exclusive Guest Lounge: From 3 PM to 9 PM daily, you can use your room card to access the lounge on the first floor for a self-service afternoon tea. They offer classic items like Jaga Pokkuru (Potato Fri Brothers), Rokkatei, Royce, as well as hot beverages like coffee and cold drinks like oolong tea and orange juice. Highly recommended!

Great location and spacious room! Neat and orderly too! I would book here again if i come back to Sapporo :)

The location is nice, lawson opposite the hotel, staff barely speak English, room’s heater has wheezing sound but my heart melted to this little robot ! 🥰😍

Close to quite a number of attractions in Sapporo. Plus point: lobby has 2 cute robots waddling around
