Bad Only bottles of pop, no beers in the fridge. Not the end of the world, but you even have to pay for replacements. That’s the first time I have come across this policy in this type and standard of hotel Only one lift working most of our stay. The only toiletries provided in the room is a wall dispenser of combined shampoo and body wash and a hand soap dispenser by the sink. The expectation was for separate shampoos, body wash, conditioner, moisturiser, cotton buds, make up pads. The room is very basic but comfortable. Whilst there is tea and coffee and a kettle the coffee is nasty instant with powdered milk. Think Travelodge. The drinks service at the tables in the restaurants is hit and miss depending upon where you sit. 20 minutes was the longest time we waited. You have to use your 15 minute free spa treatment in the first two days. The gym is small, and it gets busy. The photos on the website make it look bigger than it really is. Good Great selection of food with loads of healthy options. Plenty of activities to keep you as busy as you want to be. Some of the things we tried: Fitness classes good fun and hard work. Archery was first class with Linda being a great teacher. Safety was excellent. Kayaks free to use, just sign them out and head off. Mountain biking was awesome, but choose the tour/route you book carefully. Steer clear of the big rides if you aren’t a regular rider. No problems in getting sun loungers by the pool. There were always spare loungers on the beach whenever we went past for a swim in the sea. Excellent WiFi. Downloading books to the kindle was not an issue. The location is beautiful, set in a cove under rocky hillsides, loads of lush trees and bushes, with a lovely sandy beach and warm sea. A special mention to the staff that we’re always helpful and friendly: Pinar at the pool bar. Linda, Hannah and Daniel on the entertainment team. To sum up, a pleasant and fun holiday but not value for money. Other Magic Life hotels offer more for less.
