First time staying at this hotel chain. Our last hotel stays at Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton at downtown Florida were pretty average so decided to try something new. Very impressive decor, trendy and functional. Nice bright colour touches in lobby and room. Room design was the best I have seen and experienced in recent times. Nice to see that they got rid of bathtub and replaced it with standing shower. Room decor was mix of modern and barn style with expose front wall and ample use of wood all around. Very nicely done. Gym was adequate. Didn’t try restaurant. Good to see that they have daily Housekeeping service unlike the hotels I mentioned above. For us, entering into dirty rooms after all day is big NO, NO. Location was perfect too. Close to many restaurants and coffeehouses. Breakfast and parking not included in room rate. We found the free parking close by on both nights and went to different coffeehouses for breakfast. Highly recommended

Had a great stay! The neighbours weren’t noisy at all, nobody roamed the hallways late at night, and the service was great. You are able to adjust the room temperatures fairly quickly, the shower head had great pressure (as well as the toilet LOL), and they provide a lot of towels already in the room! The beds were comfy, different fluffiness of pillows, and comfortable bedding. Kids had fun at the water slide/hot tub, lots of parking spaces available, and good food. Definitely recommend this place since it has great pricing as well!

There was not any coffee or coffee pot in the room. Breakfast was Ok however the same housekeeper for cleaner was putting the bread into the boxes without using any gloves.

Simple hotel. Parking leaves a lot to be desired and hard to get in and out of the small reception parking lot as you have to back out onto a major road (scary). Reception was confusing. Trying to check in we were locked outside for 15 mins and ringing the doorbell with no one answering. We had to phone the main number - which was answered by someone who was not in reception (cell maybe?) and then they called someone to let us in. Room are clean but spartan. Still am confused as to how the bathrooms work - I thought they were private but are not in your room, then I thought that the outside baths were assigned to certain rooms until I found someone in what I thought was my bathroom? Sure I saved a few bucks staying here over other hotels in the same area - but for the hassle it was not worth it.

This is my go to hotel everyone I am in Saskatoon. I stay there a few times a month when I am in Saskatoon for work. Sleep great when there and usually never sleep good in hotels. The service is really good, hotel very clean, rooms are quiet and in a good neighborhood. The parking is good as well. Highly recommend.

This was a hotel connected on one side to the Holiday Inn. It is perfect if you need to go to the University of Saskatchewan as it's right across the street. The kitchen area was very nice to have. You have a private breakfast area on the 9th floor which has eggs, meat, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, breads muffins. It was good. Only one of the days we had to call the front desk because there was no one filling and cleaning the food and by the time they refilled food at 10 to 10 AM people had already left. The other days they did have a dedicated staff member that was filling everything. There is a pool and hot tub on the main floor that is shared with the Holiday Inn guests. The staff were very friendly.. We have stayed there now on 2 different occasions and occasions and would definitely come back. On one occasion the staff were cleaning the room and had left the door wide open open which I didn't appreciate as I had left my purse on the little credenza by the front door. I know. I noticed the other days the other cleaners always did shut the door when they were cleaning. The staff are always wiping the floors and and cleaning the common areas. The only thing we didn't like was there were only 2 elevators that were shared for both the Holiday Inn and the Staybridge So often times you were waiting for an elevator.

PPengguna TetamuI have stayed at this hotel multiple times with my family it has become our favourite place to stay in Saskatoon because of the full fridge, kitchen area, seating area and spacious bathroom. This trip I would give a 5 star for service alone but there are little things that could be spruced up such as the fridge could use a wipe on the top it was very dusty. The beds the pillows were great but the beds themselves left to be desired and both were noisy and creaky. The walls are very thin in this hotel you will hear a lot of noise. Continental breakfast was back to serve yourself buffet style which I was not really comfortable with yet but personal preference. The staff however like I said absolutely phenomenal. I stayed for an extended stay as I had surgery and was staying for medical reasons. They worked out a medical rate for me which I so appreciate as I love this hotel but the price per night has jumped significantly since my previous stays. Upon checking in we went to enter our room and the keys did not work, went and got them rekeyed and entered our room to find it had smelt like it had been vaped/smoked inside. I phoned down to the front desk to ask if another room was available if not it was okay. The front desk person was more than apologetic and came and met me at the elevator on the floor with new keyed room keys for a new room. I had my parents staying with me as my surgery made it so I could not drive nor lift my arms and they were accommodating to all their requests though my name was on the reservation which I appreciated since I was not very mobile. Housekeeping we didn’t need during our time but we’re always on the floor and coming by as they were back in full force no more COVID protocol of skipping room care. We had them take our garbage and would ask for toilet paper and more towels which was always handled promptly. While staying there a hockey team had checked in and my dad had made conversation with one of the housekeepers who said they designate certain floors for the hockey teams and knew we would need quiet so made sure to have us on a separate floor from them. I tried to post a review on the official marriot website but I can’t find where to do so so I do hope their staff sees the review here somehow. I had to stay at other hotels during this surgery as I had appointments in Regina and Saskatoon and this hotel with their staff and cleanliness FAR exceeded the hotel I stayed at in Regina.

PPengguna TetamuI have been to a lot of hotels in Saskatoon and other cities and for me and family, so far, this one is the best one. I was acknowledged and thanked upon check in, Greeted with a smile and their breakfast has a lot of healthy options. The room that were in is really beautiful and clean. Their pool and hot tub is really clean and well maintained. The hotel looks new. One thing I noticed is that every staff from front office, housekeeping and breakfast smiles and greets guests. They don’t just walk past guests. We’ll be back for sure and probably tell my friends to try staying here as well.

PPengguna TetamuThis has always been my go to Hotel when in Saskatoon. The staff are very friendly the rooms always clean and a very nice hot breakfast. A very large parking lot easy to park with handicap stalls. My room was a one bedroom king suite accessible for wheelchair as I am a paraplegic. The hotel has always been accommodating and getting me into one of this fine rooms. Excellant AC and heat. Microwave, and coffee maker in rooms As well as coffee and teas in the lobby at all times. The Rick at foundation would be very proud in this room

PPengguna TetamuAmazing and accommodating staff! Each one of the staff I interacted with was friendly and smiling. My wife and I booked the jacuzzi suite and it was roomy and well laid out! One tip would be to include some bubble bath :) The few ”negatives” are.... was 8/10 clean but overall nothing to complain about and bath robes were missing which they provided promptly when asked. I do wish a later checkout could have been accommodated (they did provide noon checkout) but hotel was packed so understandable. The staff checked in daily via text which was a first for us and great touch. Definitely will stay again if in Saskatoon and would recommend!!

The hotel does not look much but it ended up being perfectly fine; the room was clean, even though the hotel is on a busy road the room was quiet and a very nice breakfast was included. The personnel was very pleasant. I ended up forgetting a pair of prescription glasses in the room and when I call the next day to indicate that I would not go back to Saskatoon as we were flying back home from Edmonton to Ottawa, the gentleman offered to mail them to me no charge through Canada Post!

AAlberto_rzOld style hotel. Some of the furniture needs to be renovated, the armchairs were dirty and broken, night lamp was also broken. Weird smell in the corridor. I have to say the bed was very comfy and bed linen was clean. Breakfast was poor, just coffee and muffins.

AAkintundeLocation is a kinda too busy with some road construction right in front of the hotel reducing traffic to only one way. Hotel building and interior is old. Lacks that modern feel. Elevator was cranky with a shuddering thud at each ascension. Room was clean and appealing. Served free breakfast. Enjoyed my stay though.

PPengguna TetamuTotally concur with previous 1 star reviews. Colonial is now a grade “F” dive that has shady and destitute looking people living there and lurking around. Colonial used to be a good, family motel years gone by, but it’s not even a shadow of its former status. After making our reservation, we phoned a couple of days in advance to see if we could check in early. Front desk staff said no problem. Then on arrival day, tried to check in 1 hour early and were told to come back at 3:00 pm, the regular check in time. Checked in at 3:00 pm and walked down hallway to room. Didn’t need to unlock door, as it was wide open and both beds were all ruffled and unmade! Housekeeping staff working in another room said they needed 5 more minutes to get our room ready. When room was supposedly ready, microwave oven was missing. Staff supplied one after we asked. Room didn’t look properly prepared and clean (and there was no fresh scent of cleaner), but we had to leave for several hours. Got back to room later that evening to settle down. Closer inspection at that point revealed very dirty floor. Next checked bed, lifted cover and found a curly hair on wrinkled sheets!!! Holy crap, the staff hadn’t changed the sheets!!! Had a sleeping bag in our vehicle, so brought that in room to sleep in, placed on top of second bed. Lost a lot of sleep, as we were awakened off and on for a couple of hours starting at 3:00 am with noise and commotion in hallway (drunk and loud talking, knocking on doors, doors banging shut, etc.). Shocked to find such a flea bag dump on 8th Street situated within a very good neighbourhood. Dives like this are to be expected on west side of Saskatoon, but certainly not on east side. People with nice houses across from Colonial must be aghast at what they have to look at now every day and the potential for crime. What a nightmare stay!! As seniors, this was -- hands down --- the worst motel/hotel experience ever!! At checkout next morning, tried to get a refund after explaining the nightmare details. Clerk was sheepish and said sorry, but he couldn’t do anything. What he then said took the cake: “Next time you come to stay, maybe the manager could work out some kind of discount.” Next time!!?? Not a snowball’s chance. Warning, loud and clear: DON’T STAY HERE!! In fact, don’t come anywhere near the place!! Period!!

PPengguna TetamuCheck-in with my family. The stay was great and room with the view is fantastic. Except for our bad experience at the frontdesk. The indian guy with a beard who check us in is not professional and has no characteristic as a frontliner. He is very slow and rude. The asian lady with him already check-in 4 including my friend in the other room but I arrived first. When I told him to hurry he just stares at me and told me to wait. I also work as a frontliner and I will never tell a customer to wait or at least use appropriate word. The lady with her and the other gentleman who came around to answer the phone are very pleasant. Everything are exceptional. Staff in the restaurant and lounge are very friendly. Housekeeping indeed did a good job for having my room cleaned. I would have rated 5 star but the first impression was my last.
