For a Super 8, this location far exceeded what you would find at this chains other locations. The room I had was reasonable priced, and was very clean and spacious. I had a great night's sleep. I don't recall hearing much hallway noise at all. The breakfast may be basic, but I was very impressed with the selection and that many items were available to take with you. So when you're rushing out to start your day there is food to go. Someone at Super 8 was doing their homework! I will definitely be back.

Hotel is being reno'd, but should be closed until reno complete. There is no large, lighted sign out front, so if you arrive in the dark, you cannot see any signage out front. From exterior, it looks like a run down old hotel, certainly not worth any more than $70/night. Comments people make are correct. They should not be allowed to advertise for a continental breakfast, when breakfast is handed to you in a brown bag when you ask for it. The man at the desk said the kitchen is being renovated. No problem, don't advertise that breakfast is included. Absolutely disgusting old brown chair at desk in our room - filthy - see attached photos. Soiled/stained throw pillows on bed. I approached the desk 3 times during our stay, including on check in, and there was a ”back in 5 mins” sign. On check in, it took over 15 mins for someone to return to desk and by then there was a line up and staff did not have courtesy to apologize for the wait. Lobby is run down and dirty with no seating. One microwave at a little table in lobby. Did not use shower as shower head had clearly never been cleaned - huge source of germs. I cannot believe this hotel passes a public health inspection, yet they are charging guests $125 and up. The owners need to do the decent thing and close until hotel is fit to serve good paying guests.

The location and amenities were great, but almost every facet of the trip was made frustrating by the hotel booking policies and front desk manager. I had a $250 Delta gift card that could not be used to pre-book the room to get a better rate. I called and was told I’d have to book the “member rate” (since I’m a member of Marriot Bonvoy and have their app) to use my gift card. That rate was $60 worse than prepaying on the app and $89 worse than trip.com. Considering they already have the money from the gift card you’d think they would have a way to use it while booking on their app or over the phone, not gouge you for the worst possible rate. Next, while we reserved a “water view room”, not a “partial water view” and paid extra, the photos show our lovely view of a steel plant, parking lot, mall and partial water view if you walked right up to the window and looked out at a sharp angle. I called 2 days before and requested early check in and was told 1pm. When I arrived our room was not ready. The manage (R****) was extremely rude and just acted confused, as if she didn’t understand, but seemed to understand and was just unwilling to do anything. There was a sock under the bed.
