Hotel Deimann

We stayed in this hotel for four days and had a very positive experience. Room,food,wellness area and treatments were excellent. For the next time we will ask before reserving if there is a free table in the Michelin starred restaurant. As a beer lover there is a couple of points I regret; they still tap in the out-dated way of 7 minutes Pils,by the time you get it the temperature has risen and the freshness has gone. The wine-card is great ,but a few belgian speciality beers would be welcomed by beer lovers as well

If you have lots of money and lots of time this may be an excellent hotel choice. It is set in wooded mountains in a beautiful parkland setting. If you like walking up hills in the woods then you will enjoy your time here. Breakfast sets you up well for the day. It is vast and coffee and tea along with fresh juices are great. Freshly cooked egg dishes made to order are a further joy. Personally, we found that we booked a room that was very expensive to give us the facilities we wanted (bath tub and air conditioning - the air conditioning is not very effective). To get those facilities we had to book a junior suite with a lovely balcony and a large seating area which we enjoyed but the private sauna in the room was not something we wanted. To be fair the room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. A few English language channels beyond 'news' channels or the ability to chromecast from one's i-pad would have made it even better. Swimming pool indoor and outdoor is very enjoyable and not too crowded. The location is lovely, but quite remote. It takes a long time to get there from an autobahn and once there, opportunities to travel to nearby destinations are limited, so you really do need to focus on the hotel facilities of golf, walking and the swimming pool. We booked half board and while this comprises a lot of courses after a few days the experience started to become too similar and we longed for less but better. For example, there was always a choice of main course of meat, fish or vegetarian but the meat and fish tended to be small and over cooked and smothered in foams. The best aspect of the hotel by far is the friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff, particularly in the restaurant. However, overall we were disappointed in that when we compare with other German and Austrian hotels with similar facilities and even more beautiful locations, this was a lot more expensive.

Very nice stay in a luxury environment. We had full-board with great food. A BBQ evening was organised with was a nice informal break from the dinners in the restaurant. Room was spacious and well equipped. No AC which was not a problem because the weather was moderate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room we had faced the main road. Somewhat noisy in the morning unless you close the windows.

Top Hotel! Nur zu empfehlen. Fantastische aufmerksame Gastgeber! Herrliche Lage, sensationeller Wellness- und Spa Bereich! Ein Frühstücksbüffet was seines gleichen sucht! Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Hervorragende Menüs, auch tolle Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen. Freundliches, kompetentes Personal. Das gesamte Haus ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand! Ohne Einschränkung weiter zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!

We hadden ėėn van de goedkopere kamers, 35 m2 maar zonder balkon. De kamer was comfortabel met een apart zitje en een tafeltje met twee stoelen. Het bed was elektrisch verstelbaar en meer dan ruim genoeg. Helaas was de badkamer gedateerd, douchen in bad en maar ėén kleine wastafel waardoor je je spullen maar slecht kwijt kon. Ook ontbrak een airconditioning waardoor het (te) warm bleef op de kamer. Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en dat geldt ook voor de eigenaren van het hotel, de fam. Deimann. Zwembaden hadden meer dan voldoende beschikbare ligplaatsen. Van de sauna hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. Het ontbijt was goed en er was voldoende keus. Het avondeten viel ons wat tegen, met name de hoofdgerechten. De 5 gangen worden ook heel snel na elkaar opgediend. De omgeving nodigt uit voor mooie wandelingen en om de hoek ligt een 27 holes golfbaan met leuke uitdagende holes en prachtige vergezichten. Leuk om eens in het Sauerland geweest te zijn.

Tolles, familiär geführtes Hotel mit durch die Bank superfreundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Man merkt, dass die Inhaber sehr viel für das Personal tun (zB 2 eigene Autos für alle Azubis). Die Wellness Anlage ist sehr groß, top modern und sauber, wir hatten nie den Eindruck, daß es zu voll war, auch nicht am Wochenende. Die HP war auch supergut, sehr leckeres Essen mit angemessenen (nicht zu großen) Portionen. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls klasse (Junior Suite). Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern. eine absolute Empfehlung.

Es ist ein 5 Sterne plus Hotel mit bester Ausstattung. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, das Essen ist hervorragend, die Lage ist perfekt und das Wellness Angebot ist phantastisch. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Het is ons t****e verblijf in het hotel Deimann. Het hotel ligt midden een golvend landschap. Het is een fantastisch wandelgebied: niet te zwaar en goed aangeduid. Bij regenweer is er een mooie wellness om op terug te vallen. Er is een parkeerplaats vlakbij het hotel aan de overkant van de weg. De ontvangst is hartelijk: je neemt plaats in een salonnetje waar je een (bv.) een koffie aangeboden krijgt terwijl de onthaaldame de uitleg geeft en de bagage naar de kamer gebracht wordt. We hebben gekozen voor half-pensioen: een luxueus ontbijt en een degelijk vijfgangenmenu 's avonds. Er is keuze van het hoofdgerecht en een saladebuffet. De kaart van geopende wijnen is voldoende ruim en correct geprijsd. Het personeel is hoffelijk, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Een mondje Duits spreken maakt het wel makkelijker. Het overgrote deel van de gasten is uit Duitsland zelf. Sinds dit jaar is er een nieuw deel toegevoegd aan de wellness: "See-terrassen". Het is een zone met sauna's, rustruimten en een "infinity-pool" voor volwassenen. Die zone is ook "textielvrij". Dat zwembad op het dak is heerlijk ruim en ontspannend. Daarmee is de drukte die er vroeger was aan de zwembaden beter gespreid.

Wir haben jetzt zum zweiten Mal eine kleine Auszeit genommen und waren wieder begeistert! Begeistert von unserem Doppelzimmer, dem sehr leckeren Menü am Abend, der guten und grossen Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet, dem sehr netten und freundlichen Personal, dem tollen Wellnessbereich, besonders der neue Wellness Bereich mit dem tollen Infinity Pool, auch textilfrei zu genießen, sowie die Ruheräume, sind wirklich toll gelungen. Das ganze Hotel hat soviel zu bieten, es wird nicht langweilig! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊
