The good - location - beautiful mountains. Decent breakfast The bad - staff is curt and more interested in their own time, instead of the customer's. The rooms are about 30-40 years out of date. Linens are old and should be tossed out. This place has the potential to be a mind-blowing experience. But it instead just blows. Skip it and stay at a spot 20km away and save yourself the trouble and expense.

Nice location. Clean comfortable rooms. Comfy bed. No receptionist. When you arrive you get your envelope with key and card for bus pass. No instructions on checkout or where to park. Reception person works on providing breakfast from8-10 am only and doesn’t speak English enough to be helpful. Had the get someone else. Breakfast was good. Coffee was as terrible. Price good. Has potential to be a gem!!!

We would like to share our bad unprofessional experience in this hotel. We arrived early in the morning. We traveled almost 12 hours from London. We expected to a good accommodation since we’re so tired. But no Receptionist, we tried to call them 2-3x but no one pick up our calls. The receptionist appeared after 30minutes of waiting. They didn't approach us. Ok! It is a sign of unprofessional and unethical behaviour. We approach first. Good morning! We booked a room for 10 persons a month ago. And we would like to ask if we can leave our Luggage since our check-in is 15:00 o’clock in the afternoon. However the girl said yes. But she leaved us with something in german bad world said. Moreover, my friends they understand German Language. This experienced showing a lot of racist. Since we are Asian.

A lot of noise during the night due to cars doing donouts in the parking lot right in front the hotel. The room was really hot and the employees wasn’t able to turn it down. Service was below average and so was breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Booked with this hotel through ***********. We arrived at around 7am at this hotel and the main door was closed so we called the contact person of this hotel. It took sometime til she answered the call, but the person on the other line sounds annoyed. After a while the main door was opened by a blond girl, looking pissed. She was looking at us from head to toe and answered every questions sarcastically. She also told us that it is too early and she’s still having her breakfast at work. Trying to understand her attitude, We asked her nicely if we could check in earlier and just pay extra since we have a lot of baggages with us, but she said that they don’t allow early check in and we should just leave our bags on the car and just come back at 15:00H. We told her that we don’t have a car and asked her if we could at least leave our luggages so that we can take our breakfast and explore the nearby vicinities. She agreed, after rolling her eyes and she angrily took some of our things. While we are still calling our other friends she said we are taking to much of her time and walked out. She also said something bad in german, thinking we didn’t understand her. My friend tried to talk to her but she just impolitely turned her back on us without letting us say any word. The location of this place is nice, but they have very unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Seeing that none of us were native German speakers, she treated us rudely and impolitely, We will never book this hotel again.

Good location but very rude and racist staff. They are unwelcoming and arrogant at the first instance. Avoid this hotel at all cost!!! Totally ruined our much awaited holiday. There are much better hotels in Konigsee.

Hotel at a good location. BUT! Service extremely unpleasant, lazy, arrogant. Dirt, not maintained, smell in the hotel. Apartment for 6 people - one bathroom connected with a toilet :-(. The price does not match the service at all. I do not recommend it to anyone!

Zum Hotel und zum Service ist in vorherigen Bewertungen alles gesagt. Ich möchte hier über den Pächter berichten. Wir haben das XL Familienzimmer über *********** reserviert. Da wir nachträglich noch eine Person nachmelden wollten, hatten wir direkt beim Hotel angerufen um dies zu klären. Hier wurden wir bereits nicht sehr freundlich an Booking verwiesen. Dort wurde uns nun die Änderung bestätigt. Der Preis blieb gleich. Beim Check In gab es dann allerdings Probleme. Der Angestellte konnte die Nachbuchung im System nicht feststellen und rief seinen Chef an, welcher dann mit uns an der Rezeption telefonierte. Er verwies darauf, dass der Preis ein Fehler sei und wir das mit *********** klären müssten. Nach einiger Diskussion beendeten wir das Telefonat und er kam zur Klärung ins Hotel. Dies dauerte einige Zeit. Um das Ganze abzukürzen: Die grds Problematik zwischen Hotel und Booking machte er zu unserer. Verständnis für unsere Position oder gar eine wertschätzende und klärende Kommunikation , Fehlanzeige. Stattdessen Verweise auf den Rechtsstaat und unangebrachte politische Bemerkungen. Schlussendlich zahlte ich den gewünschten Mehrpreis um den geplanten Urlaub antreten zu können. Die Art und Weise wie dieser Herr mit uns und in unserem Beisein mit *********** kommunizierte war eine Unverschämtheit, emotionale Fehlerzuweisungen an uns inklusive. Gastfreundschaft, Warmherzigkeit, Empathie und selbst geschäftsmäßige Professionalität, nicht vorhanden. Es geht nur um Geld. Gäste und deren Wohlfühlen spielen hier keine Rolle. Finger weg von diesem Hotel!
